Dexxie's House.

When Dexxie set the plate of pancakes before him, Rory made what was probably a way too sexual noise. He meant to just make a sort of yummy sound, like an low grumble, y'know? But it may or may not have come out like more of a moan which made him giggle. "I just really love pancakes," he said in a purposely seductive whisper as he stabbed at the first pancake with his fork and ripped off a piece. Taking the bite, he smiled. "These are awesome, you certainly didn't need any help."

Not five minutes later and Rory had successfully eaten all three of his pancakes. Dexxie was still eating, probably actually tasting the food. He'd turned into a vacuum and sucked that shit down like it was nothing. But it was really delicious, he had in fact tasted it. He kind of wanted more. But, there was a pool waiting. "Hey, I'm gonna go get on my trunks while you finish up," he said, standing from the counter and poking Dexxie's shoulder.

Once back in the bedroom, Rory took a moment to text Kyle (sure to mention the pancakes and the fact that he'd slept in the same bed as Dexxie) and then proceeded to dig for his trunks. He'd brought two pairs, but came across his American flag print ones first. What his obsession with America was, I don't know. But ever since coming to the states, he'd probably gathered more patriotic clothing than Uncle Sam. Dropping his PJ pants, Rory paused his dressing situation for a moment when his phone buzzed. Kyle was a bit of a speed texter. Squatting now in just his boxers, Rory began pecking away at the keys of his phone in response.

Dexxie was glad to see that Rory liked his pancakes and once she'd finished off her own she put the dishes in the sink and followed Rory in to the bedroom. When she got in there he looked to be texting Kyle so she let him carry on and grabbed her swimming things out of her suitcase and went in to the bathroom to change. It was one thing putting on some shorts in front of him but well, to put her swimming stuff on she'd have to get fully undressed and that might be a little awkward.

Dexxie emerged from the bathroom a couple minutes later, feeling somewhat exposed. This was certainly the most of her she'd had on show since she'd had the boys. Dexxie wasn't even sure Rory had ever seen the tattoos that she had that weren't just on her arms.

'How's Kyle doing?', she asked, wanting to break the awkwardness that she knew she felt.

Rory shrieked a bit like a girl when Dexxie was suddenly beside him digging for her swimsuit. Pulling his pajama pants up over his lap, he blushed and went back to texting Kyle, sure to include the fact of what had just happened. Honestly it wasn't a big deal, it wasn't like he was sitting there naked. Because that would be weird. But still.. boxers... He shrugged, that just kind of made him feel all squirmy. So, when she went to the bathroom, Rory was instantly on his feet changing from boxers to trunks to avoid another situation.

The squirmy feeling quickly went away, though, when Dexxie came back in her swimsuit. She looked really pretty, and his eyes were drawn to her tattoos. He didn't know she had so many! Suddenly his little arm piece felt like a doodle. "Damn," he whispered, but shook his head when he realized what he'd said. He meant it towards her tattoos, honest. "I mean uh.. your ink. Those are pretty sick." Blushing again, Rory looked back down at his phone. He'd been blushing an awful lot. That wasn't very manly.

'Oh!', Dexxie felt her cheeks grow hot as she moved her hands to her waist where her laser gun tattoo's started. Most of the time she forgot about them, it seemed like forever ago that she had them done. Illegally of course as technically she was still too young to have them. 'Thanks', she smiled walking over to Rory and taking hold of his tattooed arm, seeing as they were on the subject.

'I've never really looked at yours before', she said, studying his arm actually tracing a few of the shapes with her finger. This went on for a little longer than was necessary, in complete silence, until Dexxie realized what she was doing and glanced up at Rory, her eyes wide.

'Um, sorry, I kinda ...', she shrugged, 'I don't know'.

Rory didn't mind as she ran her fingers over his arm, admiring his tattoo. He liked it too, so its not like he was going to pull away from her. Also, the fact that they were so close.. he wasn't at all bothered by it. "No, its fine," he sort of laughed when Dexxie apologized. His mouth had been in an open smile, but closed when her eyes met his. Smirking, he blinked a couple times before looking down at his trunks and letting out a low 'uhhh'. "So about that pool..." he said a bit awkwardly, realizing this moment might get weird. Again, not that he minded.

Standing, Rory put his hand out for Dexxie to grab so he could pull her up from her squat. "C'mon, bet I'm a better swimmer than you." What kind of comment was that? An attempt to be cute and flirty, yes. But a horribly failed one. Who even.. why would someone say that? Blinking hard at his stupidity, Rory shook his head and looked at Dexxie with a smile.

'You're acting weird', Dexxie pointed out as she grabbed Rory's hand to get up, when she was stood she grabbed his other hand and stood in front of him, 'We're both being really weird, can we please address this?', she laughed. Hopefully she wasn't getting the wrong end of the stick by thinking that Rory had a crush on her, now that she realized her crush on him it could be just wistful thinking. In no way did she want to make things awkward, but honestly, she wondered if things could be more awkward, it was pretty bad.

'I like you, and I have a feeling that you maybe like me too, I mean, it could just be me hoping, but, yeah', Dexxie said pretty damn matter of factly, trying to play it cool, as always. It was hard to admit that she had a crush on him, but it felt right to tell him.

"You.. like me?" Rory asked, trying to make it sound like he didn't understand or something. But it was pretty clear what she'd said, he was probably only making things 'weirder' by trying to play things cool. Deciding it was best to drop that, he smiled and looked down at their hands. Snorting, he said, "Well I uh.. yea I like you too," he said, scrunching his eyebrows together, a bit confused by this whole situation. This had probably been the least romantic and the least exciting way to tell each other they had feelings. He was happy, don't think he wasn't. It just felt kind of strange to just straight up say 'i like you'. Was that how it usually happened? He didn't think so. With past girls, he'd spent weeks on end trying to come up with the right way to say he had feelings. But this time it had been so easy and he wasn't sure if he should be thankful or scared.

"So uh.. what now?" he asked, awkwardly chuckling under his breath as he looked at her and then back at their hands.

'I have no idea', Dexxie replied, grinning from ear to ear, she was just happy that their feelings were out in the open. Things got complicated when everything was kept a secret and Dexxie didn't have much time to spend wondering about boys when she had two boys to look after herself.

'I kind of want to just go swimming, except now we can swim with the comfort of knowing that we're both in to each other', Dexxie said thoughtfully, still holding on to Rory's hands and slowly walking backwards out of the bedroom and in to the hall.

'Also! I'd be totally up for being kissed and stuff', she added with a shrug as if it was no big deal. It was though, seeing as Dexxie hadn't kissed anyone in at least ten months.

"Oh is that so," Rory said, smiling when she said she was up for being kissed. What he did next might've been a bit douche-bag-ish, but he thought it might be funny:

At first, he leaned in. Face making the best sexy-sex face he could, he got real close to her and almost kissed her. But nope, that wasn't the plan. Within a split second, Rory's face twisted up into a wild smile as he crouched, put one hand behind Dexxie's knees and the other on her back, lifted her into a cradled position then booked it towards the glass doors. Sliding the first one open with his knee, Rory shouted, "GERONIMO!" and launched himself, cradled Dexxie still in his arms, into the pool where he made quite a splash.

Dexxie hadn't been expecting Rory to kiss her then and there so when he leaned in she was startled, but not as startled as when he scooped her up in his arms and started running for the pool. It was unexpected, but in no way unwelcome. Dexxie wasn't usually the kind of girl to scream or anything but she did find herself giggling quite a bit before Rory plunged them both in to the pool.

When Dexxie resurfaced she burst in to laughter, 'Well, that's one way of getting in to a pool', she grinned swimming towards Rory and splashing him a bit, 'Totally ruined my hair though, oh my god', she joked.
