(omg omg omg they look like a little family omg the FEELS)
It had taken a bit of explaining with Kyle, but after a while, he accepted it and kind of just smiled asking Rory why he'd made such a big deal in the first place. He'd also apologized for acting like a child and told Rory to have a good time. So, naturally, Rory vowed to do just that. With a smile and a hug goodbye, Rory left the house with a suitcase and a backpack. He might've had everything he owned in that suitcase, too.
It was a bit odd to be at the airport so late at night. He'd only ever been on a plane twice, and both times had been at about ten in the morning, not ten at night. This was exciting. Personally, he loved planes. He found it to be so fascinating how those things could get in the air and stay there. It was literally a giant piece of metal... and it flew. If that shit could fly, why couldn't humans? That question would be on his mind until they got off the plane in Arizona. Heck, they hadn't even gotten on yet and he was still questioning it.
After taking Noah in the front carrier, Rory felt a bit like a turtle. Pack on his back, baby on his front, he smiled at the fact that he was 'double-shelled' and wouldn't shut up about it to Dexxie. He constantly sang "teenAGE muTANTninJA tuuuuurTLES!" to her, bobbing a bit to make Noah smile until he got sleepy and put his head into Rory's chest. Which, let me tell you, made Rory about die of cute overload. Since putting Noah on, Rory couldn't help but feel like a father. This whole situation made him feel married to Dexxie. And as odd and childish and 'girlish-fantasy-dream' that seemed, it made Rory feel all warm and fluffy inside. So did the cute looks they were getting from people as they walked to their gate.
Now sitting, Rory kept his hands on Noah's back and his feet around his suitcase. It was just too big to be a carry on, so he'd have to give it to the attendant when they were boarding. Not like it mattered, he didn't need anything from it for the flight. That was all in his backpack. Running a hand down Noah's back, Rory turned his head to look at Dexxie. She looked exhausted... damn near half asleep. Pulling a hand from Noah, he put it on Dexxie's shoulder where he rubbed with his thumb. "You good?" he asked softly, trying not to be so loud because of the kids. "You can sleep on the plane," he added with a gentle smile.

{ I know, so cute!! }
'Yeah, I'm just tired I guess', Dexxie replied with a small smile. Things would be much better once they landed in Arizona. Flying was never one of Dexxie's favorite things. It was the landing that made her worry the most, which sucked because she usually spent the whole flight worrying about it. There was one thing to look forward to though, airplane snacks! There was just something about tiny packets of pretzels that made Dexxie happy.
Isaac was sleeping now, just like his brother, but still Dexxie continued to rock gently back and forth both hands placed on his back as if still getting him to settle. Isaac was by far the fussier twin when it came to sleeping. Noah was a little angel compared.
'I don't think I'll sleep much on the plane', she added with a shrug, 'I get kind of nervous about it, so, yeah', she ended her sentence with a yawn.

"Aw well, I'll sleep for the both of us then," Rory said, copying her yawn because damn, yawns are contagious. "I'm pooped," he said quite loudly through the yawn, ending his oh-so-beautiful expression with a painfully low growl then shaking his face. He was famous for overreacting with his yawns. He wasn't actually very tired at all, but that had been a pretty convincing yawn. And besides, once actually on the plane, he'd probably pass out within seconds. He always did. Every time. He'd get so excited, so pumped and ready to fly the fucking plane, and then boom. Out like a light. All that might wake him would be the smell of tiny airplane peanuts and soda in the miniature plastic cups.

After finding their seats on the plane (thankfully, in rows of three, their 'third' companion didn't arrive), Rory set his backpack in the empty seat beside him near the aisle and rest his hands over Noah's back. And old woman just across the aisle was smiling at him and Dexxie, seeming far too happy to be on a plane. Rory was confused until he saw her look down at the babies, the back up at him. That made him smile and run his hand back through his hair a bit. Turning to Dexxie, he elbowed her arm a bit and whispered, "check out this lady. She thinks we're some young couple with a couple kids." He might've said it way too enthusiastically, a smile spreading quickly from ear to ear. "Lookit her. Just look, she's so happy for us," he giggled.

'Technically speaking we are a young couple with a couple of kids', Dexxie replied in a hushed tone, glancing over at the woman and giving her a quick smile. Dexxie couldn't help but wish she was part of a real couple. No matter how immature and not ready for kids the twins dad was it would still be nice to have a real little family to go and visit her grandparents with. Not that going with Rory wasn't great, but ... Well it sort of hurt her that the twins didn't have a real dad. Though with the amount of time they spent around Rory they'd probably start thinking he was their dad, which made Dexxie worry a little.
'I wish they were our babies', Dexxie said, without really thinking, then when she realized what she said she quickly added, 'I just think Asian babies are crazy cute, not that Noah and Isaac aren't cute enough but ...', Dexxie trailed off, 'Oh you know what I mean', she said exasperated, and turned to face the window, her cheeks flushed.

Rory smiled when Dexxie mentioned that they were technically a couple. Snorting a bit, he looked down at Noah, then at Isaac, then back at Dexxie and rolled his eyes. "You're funny," he said sarcastically, rubbing Noah's back as he started to squirm a bit. But even though it had been a pretty smartass answer, Rory couldn't help but think about it. Technically a couple.
When Dexxie said she wished they were their babies, Rory's eyes went wide. Head turning to look at her, his cheeks went bright red when she said she thought Asian babies were cute. All at once, Rory looked down and smiled, his face getting hot. "Well I'm not fully Asian y'know.. they probably wouldn't look very Asian..." he chuckled, trying to make this conversation seem a little less awkward. He could tell she hadn't really meant to say that she wished these babies had come from him instead of Kegan. She'd gotten pretty quiet and looked away.. clearly she didn't mean it.
"As adorably Korean as I am.. I don't think I could pass it on," he added in an overdramatic tone, fanning himself like a California girl with his fingers spread apart as he batted his eyelashes.

{ I think it's time to meet the grandparents! } Dexxie just shrugged her shoulders at Rory's last comment, she was literally too tired to think of anything else to say. Within the next couple of minutes the plane was ready for takeoff and although Dexxie swore that she wouldn't, she was asleep within moments. - The flight went fairly well, apart from the hour long scream fest that the twins decided to have. Oh and the miniature panic attack Dexxie had on the landing, but other than that, it went fairly well. Thanks to the three hours of sleep Dexxie managed to get she found herself strangely energetic as they left the airport and went to get a taxi to her grandparents house. The drive was under thirty minutes which was a relief because the twins were beyond fussy by this point. By the time the taxi pulled up outside the Dexton's house it was way past four in the morning, but the lights were still on inside. 'Oh God, they waited up for us', Dexxie laughed as they got out of the taxi and she paid the driver. { I know the location of this house is like crazy awesome and ridiculous, but I don't care (: }

When Dexxie stopped responding, Rory nodded and figured it best to pretend that bit of conversation hadn't even happened. Letting his head fall back to the seat, Rory pulled his hat down a bit to cover his eyes and did his best to fall asleep. It took a moment because the takeoff was slightly shaky and the airline ladies kept asking him if he needed anything, but he did indeed fall asleep eventually.

Safely on the ground, Rory exited the plane in a bit of a loopy state. He was tired, but awake. Technically, he was at that halfway point where people just start saying crazy things. Yea, he was kind of hyper. And way easily distracted. Its not possible to count how many people he just looked at and giggled. Thankfully, they found a Starbucks on their way out and Rory was quick to order himself a little something. Sure it was ridiculously early in the morning, but he needed this.
By the time they'd gotten a cab, he was fine again.
Upon arriving at the house, Rory stuck his face to the window of the cab like a little kid. The view these people had was incredible! He'd never seen anything like it. "Oh my god, they're still awake?" he asked when Dexxie said they waited up. "Now I feel bad," he laughed, moving to the back of the taxi and opening the trunk. After pulling out his suitcase, he grabbed Dexxie's and took one in each hand. "Lead the way," he said to her with a smile, holding tight to her suitcase, ready to refuse her offer to take it herself.

{ This is possibly going to be more of a story to get us to the next day rather than an actual reply. If you see what I mean ... Well, just ... Read. Okay. Okay? LOVE U. Also it's not very well written, GETS THE POINT ACROSS THO.} Dexxie didn't even bother trying to tell Rory that she would carry her own bag, because she really did have her hands full, but it didn't look like that would be a problem for much longer. No sooner had the taxi pulled away that her family was pouring out of the door her grandmother at the front of the pack her arms outstretched ready to hug, or possibly tackle. Following Hattie was Earl, looking calm as ever probably a little peeved that he'd been made to stop up until four in the morning, then Kyle carrying Liam on his back. It looked like Liam had just been pulled out of bed his dark hair sticking up at odd angles and wearing what looked to be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pj's. 'Delly, my baby!', Hattie cried as she reached the end of the driveway, flinging her arms around her grand-daughter and almost smushing Noah in the process. 'Rory this is my Grandma Hattie, if you hadn't already guessed', Dexxie said, pulling away from the hug, 'Can we please go inside so I can put these babies down, then we can have all the hugs you want, come on'. - Once inside Dexxie quickly put the babies in their cribs (which her grandmother had bought in special), and with that over and done with she engaged in the huge hug party that apparently was necessary. After introducing Rory to her grandparents they went off to bed and the pair were left with Liam and Kyle in the living room. 'Rory, these are my Uncles', Dexxie yawned, the lack of sleep finally catching up to her, 'Kyle is twenty-three and a photographer slash model, and still lives at home, and Liam is seven and also still lives at home', she flung one arm around her youngest Uncle and gave him a squeeze. It surprised her just how much he'd grown since she'd last seen him, it was crazy. 'Hey! I'm eight now', Liam retorted with a somewhat proud look on his face, to which Dexxie just shrugged, 'Whatever kid, I'm going to bed, Rory come see where you'll be sleeping, follow me'. Upon arriving in what used to be her bedroom Dexxie was only slightly annoyed to find there was only one double bed. Sleepily she blinked at it and then turned to Rory, 'Uh ... Looks like we're sharing?'. It was news to her because on the phone she'd specifically told her grandma to get a camp bed or something for Rory, she didn't want to suggest that he slept on the couch.

Upon entering the house, Rory smiled at how happy her family was to se her. Her grandparents seemed like lovely people, and her grandmother had even given him a hug. Her grandfather seemed to eye him a bit, but in the end he'd received a hearty handshake and a pat on the back before they went off to bed. When Dexxie introduced her uncles, Rory couldn't help but laugh. He'd never thought about the possibility of having a seven (or eight, excuse me) year old uncle. "Yooooo," Rory said as he squatted in front of Liam. "Diggin' the duds," he said, putting his fist out and pointing at the kid's pj's with his other hand. He waited a moment for a fist bump, and upon receiving it, stood the greet Kyle. "Model, eh?" he asked, putting his hands on his hips. "I uh, do a little modeling myself," he joked, lifting his arms to flex over his head before smiling at Kyle and reaching for a handshake. "My best friend's name is Kyle, y'know," he added with a soft smile as he backed up a bit to stand by Dexxie again. That connection reminded him he should probably text Kyle so he didn't think he'd died or something. Which he would very likely think if Rory didn't text him. But before he had the chance, Dexxie was pulling him off to look at the sleeping arrangements.
"Nice meeting you guys, see you in the morning," Rory said over his shoulder as they came to a room where they were to sleep. When Dexxie pointed out the fact that they were to be sharing, his cheeks went red and he put his head down. You best believe he wanted to share that bed with her... but something told him not to. It just.. didn't feel quite right. And it didn't feel like she really wanted to share. "I uh.. Y'know I can just sleep on the floor or something if you want," he said, his hand behind his head grabbing at a tuft of hair.

'No, don't be weird, it's cool', Dexxie replied throwing her suitcase on the floor and opening it to find her pj's, or really anything comfy enough to sleep in. Luckily her pj shorts were on the top so she pulled them out and quickly switched the shorts she was wearing for them. It didn't even bother her that Rory was stood there, she was too tired to deal with embarrassment. Then she did the awesome trick girls can do where she took off her bra under her shirt and the crawled in to bed discarding the bra on the floor.
'Just text Kyle then come sleep 'cause I wanna do shit tomorrow... Today, I dunno', Dexxie mumbled sleepily.
