(( WWW4.PICTURES.STYLEBISTRO.COM/PC/....BHSMKAELEML.JPG she doesnt have to be wearing that but yeah)) As any other time he was spending time with Tamera, Luke had been having a great night. They had gone to the MOVIES to watch ___idek some movie Tammy loves movies you pick something___ and now the two were just walking around the area. It wasn't a date, given that Luke was obviously falling for Lacey more and more every day, and Tammy was Luke's best friend. Doing anything with Tammy would be like doing things with his sister or his cousin or something. It would just be weird. Luke just enjoyed spending time with the girl because it was fun, and he didn't have to worry about being judged or anything. He was wearing jeans, and a cream colored cardigan, with a black t-shirt underneath, and black Vans to COMPLETE the look. Luke hadn't taken the time to do anything with his hair like he normally would have, so it hung down to his brow, almost covering his eyes. "So, how did you like the movie?" Luke asked once they ran out of random things to talk about. For the time of day it was, about 6 o'clock, it was pretty empty in the usually busy downtown area. There were a few people strolling around, but not as many as you'd expect.

{ www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=68976448 } Hanging out with Luke had never been anything but friendship. Tamera loved his company but like a daughter likes the company of a father or a sister that of well, another sister. She had known him from the start, when she first came to the United States and ever since then they have been friends. Tamera was absolutely aware of the fact that he had a girlfriend. Lacey Samuels, who was in the same grade as she. It made her happy and a little jealous of Luke. Why? The reason was because he had someone to love and who seemed to radiate that love back to him. To love someone and be loved in return, wasn't it wonderful? "Are you kidding? I loved it. I have always wanted to see Les Miserables, ever since I saw the play at my brother's school." Tammy gushed before looking to him, "Some people aren't too fanatic about musicals, was it a pain to watch it?" Tamera was incredibly caught up in the movie that she hadn't taken the time to turn to see if Luke had been enjoying it too. For that she felt very bad but she knew that he must have other thoughts as well.

"I liked it." Luke replied. Maybe he didn't enjoy the random songs or the fact that it seemed like he was the only person in the room that didn't know the words to every song, but it wasn't a terrible movie. "Maybe if I learn the songs, I'll like it a little bit more," He smiled, playfully elbowing Tamera's arm. "Did you wanna do anything else? It's still early," Luke pulled out his phone to check the time - six twenty-one.
"Are you hungry?" Luke was always hungry, and anyone who knew him knew that. His first suggestion was always to go eat something. Plus, they were in the middle of town, so basically every kind of food you could imagine was within walking distance.

Tamera chuckled when Luke elbowed her arm. She tipped over to the side as if he had really thrown her off. A light post was beside them so she wrapped her arm around it and stood on the base of it before looking off to the distance. "Imagine if life were a musical? I'd have to bust into a song right this instant." she chimed before clearing her throat.
"Oh where? Oh where? Oh where shall we dine?"
Without a care of who had seen her or who had heard her, Tamera smiled closed and hopped off the post before looking forward. "How about we go for something meaty... I am in the mood for pulled pork." she suggested before looking at their surroundings for a place where they served dishes to that preference. "What are you in the mood for?" Tammy asked him nudging him with her arm.

"Life as a musical," Luke laughed as Tamera did her little bit of a song. He was going to try to continue her little song, but he couldn't think of how to work food in with that tune. "Yeah..." He said after trying to continue the song a few times and failing. Kicking a rock in their path, Luke smiling at the ground. It was always fun and interesting spending time with Tammy. They always had fun.
"You know I'm always in the mood for any kind of food," Luke said, looking at Tamera and grinning. He scanned the square for a restaurant, and finally spotted one that served practically every type of meat you could imagine. It was a little on the expensive side, but that wasn't a problem. Luke had the money, he'd just gotten paid, and his aunt never let his account run low.
"How bout that one meat place? I'm sure they have pulled pork." He nodded his head toward the restaurant, raising his eyebrows.

(shh I couldn't find an appropriate gif so this will have to do) Why had Lacey been shopping by herself? Well, she wasn't, originally. Leave it to Estelle to forget that little ol' Lacey couldn't drive around herself and ditch her in order to run off and visit her boyfriend. The bitch drove her there, and now she had to go off and look for a taxi to hail. Needless to say, she was feeling pretty irritable already, snarling at people who continually got in her way as she walked down the street, looking for any sight of a yellow cab in the road, about to give up, as she looked ahead of her and stopped walking in her tracks once she had spotted her boyfriend getting all chummy with some little chippy-chipmunk. What the fuck is going on here? Lacey really wanted to yell that from where she was, and yet she couldn't quite figure out why she couldn't. The blood was already starting to pump in her body, and she bit down on her lip, shaking her head as she continued on walking ahead and approaching the pair, "Uh, I'm sorry," she plastered a fake smile on her face, touching Luke's arm before crossing her own and glancing over to Tammy, pointing at her, "but who the hell is this, and what the hell do you think you're doing out with her this late?" She unfolded her arms and placed them on her hips, cocking her head to the side, " Hm?"

Luke didn't even have a chance to hear Tamera's answer. As soon as he spotted Lacey, he knew that he was in trouble. Lacey wasn't exactly jealous.. but she could be a little crazy overprotective at times. It wasn't a bad thing, really - Luke just wished she understood he wasn't going to cheat on her or anything.
"Lace," He said, smiling. "It's Tammy. Tamera. She's like, my sister, you know that." He tried to explain, but from the look on Lacey's face, Luke wasn't getting through to her. "Besides, it's barely even six-thirty.." He checked the time on his phone to be sure - Yep, six twenty-five. "We're just hanging out." Luke isn't the type that would ever cheat on Lacey, or any girl for that matter. He cared too much about her and had waited too long to be with her to throw it all away. Tammy was really his best friend, and to him, Lacey had no reason to get jealous.

Lacey scoffed, right. She looked at Tammy, and, even though she would hate to admit she thought the girl was pretty -- she knew she was way too attractive to be "just friends" with her boyfriend. She wasn't an idiot. Lacey's seen plenty of guys cheat on their girlfriends, easy, like it was nothing, like it didn't even matter to them. She saw her own father cheat on his current wife right in front of her eyes, because he knew Lacey wouldn't say anything. And she's definitely been cheated with enough times to know most guys out there aren't faithful little creatures. What's to say Luke wasn't one of them? Lacey had never seen him with a girlfriend, she didn't know how he was in a serious relationship.
Looking at Tammy, she looked familiar, and she squinted, trying to remember where she'd seen the girl from, then crossed her arms -- she knew exactly where she'd seen her before. A year ago. Whenever Lacey wasn't with Luke, Tammy would always conveniently be there... and that always irked her, not that she voiced it at the time, having been battling with her feelings towards Luke, she didn't want to believe she'd been jealous.
"She sure doesn't look like just a friend to me," she cocked her head to the side to look at Tammy, then back to Luke, pursing her lips and realizing her tone, looking down and shaking her head. In the beginning of this relationship, Lacey did say she'd try to work at it. She was starting to sound a whole lot like that Carol chick that kept her boyfriend on a tight-ass leash, and Lacey hated leashes.
"You're telling the truth?" she raised an eyebrow, looking from Luke to Tammy, waiting for an answer, or further explanation.

Having the common courtesy not to intrude the argument between a boyfriend and his girlfriend, Tamera stood quietly. Her facial expressions had absolutely no sort of mock or disrespect toward Lacey. She learned this from her father who studied law. There was no need for her to go rambling and react quickly to something that she was innocent of and this was having nothing but a friendship with Luke.
However, when Lacey referred to her as impossibly being capable of just being friends with Luke, she took it to offence. What did she mean by that? Did she think that she looked like those easy girls who stole taken men from their girlfriends? Her momma taught her better than that. "Are you trying to say that Luke and I can't be friends?" Tamera felt nothing but ordinary looking; she didn't think herself pretty but she didn't think she was ugly. What she did think was that she couldn't make friends with guys because it apparently meant that she was hooking up with them.
All her life she had been friends with just guys. It was the way she brought up in a house with three men; Sam, Gene and her dad. "He is very much saying the truth." she nodded looking straight into Lacey's eyes without any hesitation.

Turning her head to Tamera when she finally spoke up, Lacey looked at her, raising an eyebrow, almost surprised at her boldness. Lacey was used to being intimidating, being that girl that other girls were afraid of -- so the way Tammy stood up both impressed, and even sort of bothered her, at the same time. "I'm not saying you can't," she cocked her head to the side, looking from Tammy to Luke, "Luke can do what he wants, I don't care," she shook her head, placing a hand on her hip and giving out a sigh, "but, I don't know you -- Tammy, is it? Yeah," Lacey lowered her eyes, "so, I wouldn't know your intentions." turning back to Luke, she looked up at him,
"I'll drop this," she glanced to Tamera, "but you tell me when you're hanging out with other people," she crossed her arms, "so I know what to expect," she pursed her lips, "and I'll try not to assume anything anymore," Lacey was always one to assume things about people, not very into digging too deep into others' lives as she was much more concerned about her own... which was something she now knew she might have to work on.
Biting her tongue, she looked at Tammy again, "I don't trust you yet," she blinked, "so, if I catch or suspect anything fishy going on around here," she shook her head, "I never will."
