Yea.
Eric tried to stop the smile that was spreading across his face after Zander agreed to give him his number. It seemed now that he was worried over nothing, and that asking for his digits really wasn't as big a deal as he made it out to be. He let out a small, relaxing sigh, and was about to take his phone out until he saw that Zander was asking a woman for a pen.
Part of Eric, honestly, had a "thing" about people writing on his body other than him or a tattoo artist, but this was too cute for him to decline.
"No," he said, shaking his head as he spoke, "Go ahead."
As pathetic as it might have sounded, Zander's hand on Erics arm was sort of comforting and warm. It made him think that maybe all of Zander's body was warm and how maybe he'd like to find out. Once he noticed these thoughts running through his head, he felt like his expressions gave him away or maybe somehow everyone on this transit could hear his thoughts, and his face turned a bright shade of pink.
"I, uh," Eric tried to talk around his thoughts in an attempt to clear his mind, but he couldn't think of anything to say at all, "I don't mind." He looked up at Zander and, afraid of eye contact that could potentially reveil his emotions, looked back down at his arm.

Zander found himself thinking about Eric and how he wanted more of him. Maybe it was just him, but it seemed purly physical at this point, and well his past relationships generally were. There was nothing wrong with that, but sometimes hs just wanted to get to know a boy. He wasn't sure what he wanted, up until this point. The point when Eric asked him for his phonenumber he didn't think Eric liked him either.
He took the pen, and atarted writing on his arm, not relizing how long he hesitated before starting to write down the number. It wasn't his best penminship, but he surrendered the pen back to thewoman he'd borrwed it from, "Text me sometime." He said, witn a grin.
Without thinking about what was comming out of his mouth, he said something he wasn't surehe wanted to say. "If you're getting off here," he motioned towards the door. "I know a great ice cream place not far from here," He said, pausing for a moment to look at Eric. "if you're up for it, of course." He added. Still not letting on that he went to the sameschool as Eric did.

"Uh..." Eric looked down at his arm and then locked eyes with Zander, "Yea... yea, I will." He gave Zander a signature half-smirk. But Eric's daring side only lasted so long, and he found himself looking back down at the floor, too shy to meet eyes with the boy who's number was on full display across his forearm.
"That sounds..." Eric's eyebrows furrowed and he bit the skin of his bottom lip in nervous contemplation. Eric really did want to go out for ice cream with this guy, and he would have said yes right away, but that fact that Zander was almost impossible to read drove Eric crazy. He was usually pretty good at being able to tell how a person is feeling, with Zander as an exception. He just could not read this boys actions. He just had to figure out just who Zander Lastname was (and maybe it would be good to know his real last name) and he hoped maybe going out for ice cream would get him one step closer to that goal. "...great. I'm down."
The transit came to an abrupt stop, and Eric stood up and for the first time was able to look down at Zander. The moment was brief of course, but it struck Eric as a little bit funny, being that Zander was probably around 3 inches taller the he. Eric waited, being the gentleman that he is, for Zander to stand as well before exiting the transit, following the crowd out the doors.
