“Me too,” Gillian whispered. If it wasn’t dark in the lobby, and even darker under the blanket, her cheeks might have looked especially pink after Kyle poked her nose. It was very easy to get Gillian to blush; this was no special or rare happening. But it was a very cute one, and Gillian may or may not have prided herself on the levels of cuteness her and Kyle’s best-friendship was. What could she say? It was perfection.
A tiny gasp escaped Gillian’s lips when Rory hit the couch, and as soon as it happened she knew she should have seen it coming. Her face was again hot, this time from embarrassment, and she hoped that the gasp went unnoticed, and she followed Kyle out from underneath the blanket. Her eyes connected instantly to what was happening on the screen, and she smiled when she remembered how great she thought this movie was. “This movie is so great,” she whispered to no one in particular. Gillian had a hard time keeping still and quiet during movies. She loved them, but her attention span was just short enough to make her body restless as soon as she could really get into a movie. Steve Carell is such a great actor. This time, Gillian did not vocalize her thoughts. Already, she was curling her toes and shifting her legs across the side of the couch; in front of her chest (Indian style was also a contender for a moment) and she really did feel awful about the probable disturbance but it wasn’t technically her fault. It was her body’s.
Gillian leaned her body toward Kyle. "I apologize in advance for my bad movie etiquette," she whispered, not turning her head toward him, but keeping her eyes glued to the projection. The blanket had once again found itself up under Gillian's eyes, and her cheeks rested on her fists as they held the blanket up. "I'll shut up now."

If Rory had been up on the couch with the two, he might've been the one to complain about how much Gillian was moving. But honestly, Kyle couldn't say anything without being a hypocrite. It was almost a miracle, actually, how long Kyle had been sitting still and keeping relatively quiet (or at least at a moderately regular tone). He'd been occupied, I suppose, so its not like his mind had space to wander. And the fact that he was a little bit sleepy kept him on the down low as well. But now that it had gotten dark and pretty much everyone had settled in, he could already feel his skin crawling. And the fact that Gillian was moving too didn't help.
"Don't even fret," Kyle whispered when Gillian started apologizing. "I'll probably be up walking around in about five minutes."
And so he was. The movie had gone on for a little and Kyle had done pretty good with keeping still. But soon the legs started to bounce, then he was running his fingers up and down his thighs, then scratching his face and looking around. When the tics started, Kyle got up and moved to the coffee machine where there was still a full pot of Christmas left. Surprisingly, it was warm. Having left his cup by the couch, though, Kyle debated for a moment whether he should go get it and possibly disturb Rory who seemed very into the movie at this point (he was leaning forward, perched on his knees and fists). Eventually deciding against it, Kyle only turned to look at the pot and ran his finger around the rim. He was rocking back and forth on his heel a bit and breathing hard, still listening to the movie just not actually looking at the screen.
"Gillian," he whispered at one point. "Gilliannnnn," he was gonna try until he got her attention.
"Gilliannnnnnnn,"

Somehow, between the restless legs and Little Miss Sunshine, Gillian did not remember Kyle getting up, or that he wasn't right beside her. At this point she has all the blanket to herself and she was wrapped up generously, looking very cocoon-like. It was not until Gillian had hearer her name that she realizes Kyke was up and moving and she was alone in the middle of this couch. She peeled her eyes away from the dysfunctional onscreen family and looked at Kyle. She didn't say anything, but let her cocoon-self fall over so that she was Laying on both her and Kyles space. When Kyle continued to call, she figured maybe she should call back.
Whaaaaaaaat?" she whispered rather loudly. It came to Gillian's attention that it would have been in much better taste to get up and go talk to Kyle away from the people invested in the movie, but this blanket burrito was proving comfy and also mildly difficult to get out of without causing a commotion. So, she stayed, but kept eye contact with Kyle so he would know that he had her attention now, not the movie.

When Gillian answered, Kyle just sort of smiled, chuckled, then went blank-faced. He'd completely forgotten what he'd wanted to say to her. Still rocking back and forth, he probably looked like a small child as he stood there, completely aloof. "Hiiii," he whispered back awkwardly and waving a bit before turning back to the coffee pot. Oh! The coffee!
"Oh!" he turned back to look at her. He'd said that a bit loud and quieted himself before saying, "do you want more coffee?" Rory looked ever so slightly over his shoulder, shooting that 'stop talking' glare at Kyle who was barely bothered to notice. Instead, his eyes were focused on Gillian and his hand was circling the rim of the coffee pot again. A twitch causing his hand to dive into the coffee pot warned Kyle that his patch was wearing off. He'd need a new one within the hour. That or he'd just run around the room like a chicken with its head cut off.
"Oh shit," he hissed at himself, pulling his hand from the coffee and wiping it off with a nearby towel.

From her burrito, Gillian giggled and her head 'no.' She would never get any sleep if she were to drink a second cup of joe. The thought that the point of a movie night was to stay up and watch great movies and goof off didn't occur to Gillian until a moment later. "Wait! Is there like... Red Bull?" She called to Kyle in a very harsh whisper. Coffee may have been too heavy for Gillian, but a red bull really sounded good right now.
Trying to cause as little ruckus as possible, Gillian extracted her arms from the blankets grasp, and attempted to unroll herself. She proved successful, with minimal distraction. Only once did she fall off of the couch, but since it was the final roll to freedom, it may have appeared semi-intentional. Scrambling up to her feet, she tiptoed over to Kyle.
"Hey, are you all good?" She whispered. Her arms were extended toward him, palms up, as if trying to find a way to help. She knew there wasn't really anything she could do, and it bothered her. When she realized what she was doing, he clasped her hands together and swayed back on her heels, trying unsuccessfully to appear nonchalant.

"Oh yes I'm very well, I just like putting my hand in the coffee sometimes, y'know? Gives it that real kick of flavor," he said, nodding very matter-of-factly, "Its especially good when your stomach is making the rumblies. The rumblies for a good taste of hands." At this point, Kyle wasn't at all sure what he was talking about. So he dropped it, then turned to put the coffee back on the counter. He figured he might as well put it down before accidentally chucking it at the ground. "Redbulllll," he whispered as he moved towards the lounge fridge and pulled open the door. Surprisingly, there were a couple cans. There was Monster, too. He thought that odd for a high school lounge. Shrugging, he grabbed a can and tossed it over the top of the door to Gillian. He hoped she'd catch it... it would probably explode if she didn't.
"Stop making so much noise," Rory groaned from his still seated position without turning back to look at them.
"We're not making noise!" Kyle whispered back very forcefully to the point where it wasn't even really a whisper. He was technically shouting. Because of that, Rory stood, took a pillow from the couch, turned and chucked it at Kyle as hard as he could before sitting right back down and going back to the movie. This, of course, made Kyle laugh as the pillow hit his midsection. Rolling his eyes, Kyle looked to Gillian with the widest of smiles and got real close to her face before saying, "i'm bored already" and then running in place.
Yup, the patch was gone.
