Who had set this whole movie night thing up again? Rory certainly didn't remember and neither did Kyle, who seemed more than half asleep. Walking down the hall, Rory repeatedly nudged him in the shoulder to try and keep him awake. He was certain the lounge would have coffee which would get Kyle going in no time, but until then it was Rory's job to keep Kyle from walking into a wall and getting a concussion. Upon reaching the lounge, Rory pushed open the door to find that they were the first people there. Noting that, he wedged the little piece of wood under the door and stepped aside so Kyle could walk in. When he did, it didn't take long before he'd collapsed on a couch and started groaning. "Shut up, drink coffee," Rory snapped at him as he moved to gather pillows. He'd brought his own and so had Kyle, but sitting on a mountain of pillows was much comfier than just one pillow. He momentarily considered making a giant fort with all the couch cushions too... but he figured someone might actually wanna use the couch. Who knew how many people would show up. Who ever knew where the person that planned this whole thing was... "What if this is like that Pretty Little Liars thing and the person that planned it is gonna kill us," Kyle moaned, his face in the couch cushions. Rory stopped gathering pillows and looked at him. "You really need that coffee," he said, dropping his pillows and heading to brew Kyle a quick cup. Thank you, student lounge, for coming equipped with a shit load of coffee making ingredients. Seriously, any flavor you could've imagined. It was lovely. Late-night-worker heaven. Or, Kyle Stockholm heaven.

Zelda wasn’t sure what to think at the mention of a movie night but why the hell not right? Since she really had nothing better to do and everyone hated her because of the burn blog, which she still and read because it was eighty percent lies, ten percent bullshit and nine percent feelings of the person that wrote it, whoever that was, and like one percent truth. Who cared if some stupid book wanted her to die anyway. Since everyone was gone on some ski trip that most of the people on hated her. She was sitting around when she heard about the movie night and ended up deciding to go.
She really hoped it wasn’t like chick flicks, or romantic comedies. Chick flicks weren’t that bad, really, but only when she was in the mood to watch a sappy romance otherwise it was more fun to watch dumb horror movies, those were the best kind. Not the actual scary movies, but the laughable movies where you could tell everyone was going to die, and laugh at them for going into the basement anyway.
She walked into the lounge to see Kyle and some boy she didn’t really know. She plopped down on the floor in front of the couch. “Hey nice socks…” she let her voice trail off because she honestly wasn’t sure what they were, socks slippers, either way the was digging the sharks.

Gillian, although weary about this whole “PJ Party/Movie Night” thing, decided she should probably go and try to meet people. At least, that’s what she was telling herself. Honestly, she knew that Kyle was going to be there, and he usually kept things pretty exciting so she wanted to be right there with him. And hey, who’s to say she wouldn’t meet someone new in the process? Gillian got into her most comfortable PJ’s and slippers, and grabbed a blanket and of course a stuffed animal—she needed something to cuddle with in the event of a movie-night-emergency—and left her dorm. In an odd combination of made up and dressed down, Gillian made her way to the lounge, toting her stuffed bear and dragging her blanket behind her. The hall floors were clean, right? The door was already propped open when Gillian arrived, which was a curse and a blessing. The awkwardness of being first to the party was avoided, but now anyone could be in there, and that could be worse. Get ahold of yourself, Morrissey. Her conscious barked at her, and she pushed open the door, bracing herself. “Kyle!” Thank God. Gillian sighed in relief and shuffled her way over to the couch. He was face-down in the cushions, spread across the couch, so Gillian took the opportunity to sit on the small of his back. She pet his head as to greet him, and pulled her legs up with her, in order to wrap her arms in front of her shins. “It’s good to see you.”

Rory looked to the girl that complimented him and smiled like an idiot. "Well thank you, m'lady," he said softly before turning back to the coffee machine. Kyle was still completely out on the couch, and the redhead that he knew was now approaching. Then she sat on him. Lovely. Kyle groaned, feeling the weight of Gillian on his back. "You're going to snap me in half," he whined into the cushion before turning his face so he could actually breathe. "Nice to see you as well," he moaned, sounding quite a bit like death itself. Kyle kicked his feet a bit, just hard enough to reach Gillian's shoulder. His left arm twitched a bit as it started to fall asleep, feeling quite suddenly like it was full of needles. "Ouch mommy make it stop," he said, now waving his arm in the air just as Rory approached with a cup of coffee in his hands. "Stop, fool, you'll spill it," he said, crouching and holding out the cup to Kyle, not really thinking about the fact that in this position, there'd be no way he could drink it. Rory looked up at Gillian and smiled. "Hi," he said in a Joker-esque tone. (ooc: yknow, like this: )

“Hi” Gillian chimed her nose wrinkling as she smiled at this mildly strange boy, “Aren’t you sweet, taking care of this…” she motioned to Kyle, not knowing how she should describe this boy, “He needs it, clearly.” As she spoke she got up, and turned her attention back to Kyle. This was done in careful strategy, as to not disturb the flow of coffee in the mug. A coffee spill was the last thing this gathering needed. What it really required, however, was small talk. Or any talk, really.
“If you share the couch with me, I’ll share my blanket with you.” This may or may not have been a fair trade, and Gillian new that Kyle didn’t really enjoy committing himself to just one blanket, if you get my drift, but it was the start of conversation, and that was what was important. Gillian stood with the blanket over her shoulder, and she was cuddling her bear, now thankful she brought him so that she had somewhere to put her arms, without looking stiff and awkward, which she tended to seem.

"I am his mother," Rory said completely straight-faced as she stood from Kyle's back. Kyle, on the other hand, didn't move at all. "I don't wanna move," he groaned, returning to his face down position. He kicked again, this time kicking his own butt and then flailing his arms because of it. Somehow, the fact that Gillian had moved hadn't registered.
"Kyle come on I made you coffee," Rory poked his head a couple times before adding, "Its peppermint. Tastes like Christmas. In a cup."
With that, Kyle sat straight up and reached his hands out, wiggling his fingers. "Gimme gimme gimme that!" he said, snatching the mug the minute Rory moved it closer. Bringing it to his lips, Kyle inhaled rather obnoxiously then let out a heavy sigh even more obnoxiously. He'd closed his eyes at some point, but now open again, he noted Zelda across the room and smiled. "Hey girlie," he said with a quick, tic-like wave before tipping the mug back to his lips.
After a few more sips and now a bit more alive, Kyle looked up at Gillian who was cuddling her animal. "Hmmm," he squinted his eyes and pursed his lips, looking between her and the couch. Rory had taken a seat on the floor and was busy pulling pillows up around him. "Fair deal," Kyle finally decided, taking another sip and then patting the cushion beside him. "Cop a squat," he added before returning his hand to his mug and lifting it to his lips again. "Rory, it really does taste like Christmas in a cup."
"I told you," Rory said flatly, as if the fact that it was going to taste like Christmas in a cup wasn't already a given.

“Where do you even find those?” she asked in response to the socks. She didn’t even know where you would find something like that but it would be cool to have, “and more importantly do they have other animal socks?” Yeah that was important. She laughed Kyle called her girlie, what kind of name was that? But waved back to him anyway, and nodded. “I really want some of those socks though,” she said. “Or maybe I’ll just become friends with you and steal yours.” She shrugged. That was unlikely because she was pretty sure that everyone hated her and she would have no friends, but that was what she for telling it like she saw it.
this is really short sorry

Maggie nodded and shot a glance towards Rory, “I believe you whole heartedly. This kid needs assistance 24/7.” She smiled warmly at Rory, so things stayed light hearted. She liked to keep the peace and vibe with the people around her, what could she say?
Gillian took her time getting back to the couch and scooting next to Kyle. The thing about her and Kyle’s relationship was that Gillian never felt awkward around him. The fact that maybe their thighs touched or one’s hand brushed another didn’t matter was comforting and just… easy, and that was one of the reasons Gillian preferred Kyle’s company. They were friends, and they could talk and there was nothing hard about any of it. Except maybe when Kyle was feeling stubborn or childish… this was often. But sometimes it was cute, so Gillian willingly handled it.
Gillian took her blanket and tossed it over their laps, and didn’t hesitate to get cozy. “I’ll take a cup of Christmas, too, cutie,” She called out to Rory. She was not about to sit next to these amazing smells without some for herself. She just didn’t want to get up herself and get it, and there was a boy at hand. Sometimes you need to bat your eyes and take the opportunities at hand. “Hey, Kyle,” Gillian whispered, for no particular reason, “this is Louis.” She held up her bear from under the blankets and leaned into the boy beside her. “He’s a great cuddler, if you get lonely or something. Not that you will!” She looked over and winked, her small, familiar smile forming across her lips.

(so this post should probably be made as rory but i just really wanted to show off kyle's collage even tho you can see it everywhere)
Rory looked at Zelda and smiled. "Yes, yes they do have other animals," he said, still piling pillows up around him to the point where just his head was sticking out. "I got them on Amazon," he added, then bit one of the pillows to pull it up closer to his neck. That's about when Gillian asked for a cup of coffee. "Good lord, you do one nice thing and everyone wants some!" he wailed, busting free of his pillow-igloo and standing up like a sassy girl. He smiled, though, and started laughing. "I'm just kidding," he said, turning to look at Gillian and Kyle who were getting rather cozy. "Zelda you want one too? Does everyone want one? Why don't I just make thirty two."
Kyle set his mug in his lap and clapped at Rory. "Snap snap, McGough. Make it quick," he said with a British accent, his nose high in the air as he watched Rory shuffle to the coffee maker. Then there was a stuffed animal in his face, and Kyle turned with an all-too-excited smile spreading up his cheeks. "Oh, hello, Louis!" he said, the British accent still there as he waved at the bear before picking up his mug again and moving it to his mouth. Before taking a sip, though, he looked at 'Louis' and said, "Want some? No? Well alright, just being polite." Then he took a sip.
"I doubt I'll get lonely," Kyle said a moment later, setting his mug in his lap again, now covered by a comfy blanket, and leaning his head against Gillian's. "Y'know, people are gonna start to think we're a thing," he said softly and a bit too seductively. With the kind of friendship they had, though, she was sure to know he was joking. Honestly with their friendship, the two could probably walk around naked together and not give two shits.

I do enjoy that collage.
“Oh of course the internet has everything,” she said when he said he had gotten the socks on amazon. She didn’t even know what she would so with animal socks, but they looked really cozy and even if they didn’t fit her style she was still going to go on amazon and order some when she got back. “Yes make me some, servant,” she said pretending to sound rich and posh. She didn’t really mean to call him that it was all teasing. She stuck her nose up at him and laughed. “Thirty two is a good number, but you might want to make more you can never have enough coffee.” She said with a grin.
“So what movie are we watching?” she was pretty sure the others didn’t seem to care about what movie they were going to watch. She however was not as in on their group and was asking because maybe it would be a better source of conversation then animal socks.
