"Thank you, Rory!"
Gillian was hesitant to call Rory by his name, as she had really only heard Kyle refer to coffee boy as Rory once, and that was not a very reliable source. But, Kyle's presence made Gillian feel like she could really do or say anything, and things would turn out alright, so she went for it. And even if it was wrong, it was easy to say but kyle said it and things would be a-OK.
"Louis likes you," Gillian said, making sure her voice was just loud enough for only Kyle to catch it. She made sure not to squirm or move too much, so that he would know that the three of them were comfortable here, like this. She did, however, pull the blanket up so that her shoulders were now covered, and she could really snuggle down. It was a beat later that she realized that the fact that the lights were still on and the movie hadn't been started made the two look a bit too comfy, but the lack of people and the amount of comfort both argued the opposite. Here was fine, here was good.
Gillian looked straight forward, and waited a moment before she responded. Kyle's tone spread a hue of pink over Gillian's cheeks, and she could feel her heartbeat, and the hotness of her cheeks, her neck. She needed to calm down, play it off as though his empty words had an empty effect. It was just Kyle, and she was just caught off-guard. "What? Are you embarrassed?" Gillian responded after a moment, matching the soft seductiveness his voice held, "I mean, if that's the case, I'll just go drink coffee with someone else." Her body stayed lax except for her arm, which crept from under the blankets, and she pointed at Rory. "Maybe Rory, even." By now, you could hear the smile in Gillian's voice. She was calm now, and tried to keep things lighthearted. This sometimes proved a challenge around Kyle, although she enjoyed it. These games were fun, no one got hurt.
But these games were harder to play with the lights on. That's when you have to watch what you say.

Kyle gasped and was quick to snuggle even closer to Gillian when she threatened to cuddle with someone else. "No no no!" he said, quite like a child as he pulled his head down to nuzzle under her chin, rather than over the top of her head. "No staaaaay," he whined, moving so much it was a miracle he hadn't dumped his coffee into his lap. Rory perked up a bit, having heard his name (he's got ears like no other, i'm tellin' yeh), but quickly turned back to the coffee as it was beeping, signaling that it was ready.
"Forty million cups of Joe, ready to go," he said in a sing-song voice as he began poring three mugs of coffee. Once they were mixed and 'Christmas-y', Rory was careful as he laced his fingers into the handles of each mug, bringing them into a cluster before lifting them, all at once, off of the counter. The first went to Zelda. "One for you, sock lady," he said, crouching just a bit and loosening his fingers so she could take one. Next was for Gillian. "One for my new friend: Kyle's cuddle buddy," he handed the mug to the girl and winked at Kyle. The last one was for him. "And one for the," he raised his voice, "MAN THAT DOES EVERYTHING and makes damn good coffee." With that, he sat on the ground, set his mug before him, and gathered his pillow-igloo again before picking the mug back up and taking a long sip. It burned a little, truth be told, but Rory kept a straight face and let out a sharp 'ahh' once the fire finished scorching his throat. "Tastes like manhood," he said, brow furrowed.
Kyle snorted at Rory and sipped his own coffee (at an awkward angle, I might add). Realizing the incredibly uncomfortable and awkward angle, Kyle sat straight up. He tugged a bit at the blanket accidentally, but managed to keep it where it was resting on Gillian's shoulders. "Yes, what movie indeed," he meant to say to Zelda, but just sort of announced it to the ceiling. "Rory brought a movie. What movies didja bring. Huh? What movies?" he was poking Rory in the back of the neck with his foot.
"Uhhhhh I brought Across the Universe, Saw, Little Miss Sunshine, Disturbia and High School Musical."
"That's quite the range yeh got there, buckaroo," Kyle snorted, craning his neck over Rory's shoulders to look at the movies he was pulling from the cinch bag he'd brought.
"I like to have options," Rory answered, fanning the movies out in his hands and holding them up for the others to see. "OBSERVE!" he said forcefully in a 'heroic' tone.

Jasper was definitely in trouble. He had been walking through the halls aimlessly for what seemed like an hour or so when he got what he thought, at the time, was going to be a good idea. He was just in the need of some fun, you know? So he had made a mad dash down the hall, passing a fellow student boarder, from whom he stole his set of keys and room card. Needless to say, the guy was pretty pissed. He chased Jas for a good twenty feet of hallway before Jasper decided to drop the keys... and then turn around and whip the unlucky fellow's room card at him. The card was thicker than J was used to, but it worked the same, hitting the man right above the eye brow. As he took off, he realized he hadn't managed to take more than the keys and a wadded up five dollar bill from the pocket he had stolen from. It wasn't much, but the five could prove useful.
Jas dashed down the hall and came panting into the common room. A few students mingled about, wearing pajamas and drinking coffee. Jas straightened his jacket and let out a long puff of air, catching his breath. He didn't know that kid, had no vendetta against him. Jas was used to people expecting him to only steal from those who deserved it, but that wasn't how it worked for him. He just needed cash and he was going to get it.
Sitting on a nearby couch that was uninhabited and angled towards the TV. Ah, Zelda was here, he saw. She was still such a pretty young woman... But they'd never got to hook up more than once. It was a damn shame. "Mind if I join?" He asked, speaking mainly to Zelda but occasionally glancing at the rest of the group. he had a habit of doing that - addressing females instead of males. There were a few pretty ones here, he saw. "I apologize I'm not dressed appropriately.." he smirked, noting the pajamas. He was stuck in jeans ans a button down shirt with a nice jacket over top, his typical fashion. He pulled a deck of cards from his pocket, and began shuffling quietly.

"I guess you're gonna be there a while," she replied to his comment about making forty million cups of coffee. "Sock girl, I'm not sure I like that name," she said before taking the coffee from him, "but you make good coffee so I'll take it I guess," she said after taking a sip from the cup. She was about to say that Little miss Sunshine was definitely the best choice, when Jasper showed up. She didn't really want to talk to him, but she could tolerate him, some people she could not tolerate and would bitch at but she could at least talk to him even though she didn't like him much.
"No you need to go change before you're allowed to join us," she said. Looking down at his outfit. He wasn't wearing pajamas, and she wasn't trying to be a bitch about it. She took another sip of her coffee. "For real though you can only stay if you show me how to do that magic trick," she looked back at Rory. "Little Miss Sunshine," she said. "Or High School Musical so we can make fun of it, and drool over Zac Efron. I mean what."

Ooc: replying from phone. I apologize. Also, I really hated my last post and I wanted to change it but I'm too lazy. Whoops.
"You know I'd stay," Gillian reassured Kyle, nuzzling his head with hers, before he had say up. Gillian was thankful for Kyle during times like these, because he made her feel worth something; a person, rather than an object. It was refreshing to get that kind of impression from someone, that you mean something to them.
Gillian smiled up at Rory, a silent thankyou if you will, and replaced his fingers with hers around her own coffee cup. Gillian was definitely a tea person, but she would never pass up the offer of a choice cup of joe. Her silent, teeny smile broke when she heared rory describe how manly his coffee tasted, and an embarrassingly childish giggle presente itself. In an attempt to his this, Gillian pursed her lips, and lifted the mug in front of her face as though she was going to take a sip. No coffee was consumed, since it was much too hot for Gillian, but it concealed her amusement for the time being. However, her strategic moves were no match for the emotions Rory had brought on with his latest options.
"How dare you bring three amazing movies at one time!" Gillian was equally impressed and furious that rory had the options of Saw, Little Miss Sunshine AND across the universe. This was Ooc: replying from phone. I apologize. Also, I really hated my last post and I wanted to change it but I'm too lazy. Whoops.

"How DARE you!" Gillian gasped, setting her mug in her lap. The blanket fell off of her shoulders as she sat up and turned towards Rory. This was rediculous. "Rory, you are a sick, sick person." Who did this cat think he was, bringing four amazing movies at one time. Saw? Disturbia? Little miss sunshine? ACROSS THE UNIVERSE? this was too much. "I can't pick a movie under these conditions. They're all so great."
On any other day, Gillian would have said across the universe, hands down. But this was a whole new setting. She couldn't sing along to the perfected remakes of the Beatles hits and cry into Louis. And the fact that she was easily horrified meant that it would be a long time for the opportunity to watch a scary movie with the security of others would arise. "Kyle, I'm having a hard time." Gillian complained, furrowing her brows and sipping her coffee aggressively.

Kyle noted the boy that walked in and just sort of smiled at him. He was far too far away to actually strike a conversation with. See Kyle had this thing about distance: if you were more than five feet from him, the odds of him talking to you and actually keeping a conversation going where very low. If you spoke first, he might answer awkwardly with one word. But starting the conversation was certainly not happening. Especially with a boy who hadn't even worn PJ's. Psshhh, who did he think he was with his fancy cards. Which, actually, had caught Kyle's attention and he soon found himself leaning over Gillian as his face tried oh so hard to get as close as possible without moving the rest of his body. When he caught himself, though, Kyle was quick to straighten up again and look at Gillian, who was complaining about movies.
Kicking a foot out at the back of Rory's head, Kyle put a hand in the air and yelled, "How COULD you, Rory?!" referring to his movies. Honestly, Kyle didn't care what movie went in. He would be happy with Barney and Friends (which Rory had, mind you, back in his room). The decisions were clearly bothering Gillian, though, so Kyle decided to make a scene.
Rory just snorted though and reached back to swat at Kyle's foot. "I'll be honest and say Across the Universe and Little Miss Sunshine are my top two," he said in the most regular-human-being voice he'd used all night. Kyle nodded at him and looked to Zelda who had said something about Little Miss Sunshine. He then looked at Gillian, who still seemed incredibly unsure of her decision.
"My vote goes to Across the Universe. I'll belt all the songs... but that's my vote," he said, then took another sip of his coffee and frowned at the fact that he was almost done with his cup. "Rory how much coffee did you actually make, I'm running low," he whispered, poking the back of Rory's head with his foot yet again.
Rory swatted, again, and turned to look at Kyle. "Enough for a couple more mug fulls. But I am NOT getting it for you. My igloo is perfect."
"Which movie do you want, of those two?" Kyle turned to Gillian, having only rolled his eyes at Rory's comment about not getting the coffee for him.

Gillian’s eyes found their way toward a drastically overdressed boy shuffling cards, and was about to point him out to Kyle. However, Kyle was already leaning over Gillian in awe, a very obvious sign that the magic boy did not was needed to be pointed out. She didn’t say anything, but instead let out a small giggle that indicated that she caught Kyle staring, and nudged him with her elbow.
“Kyle” Gillian whined, “Don’t kick that poor boy.” As much as Gillian wanted to sound serious, you could hear the smile and near-laughter in her voice. The relationship between these two was this beautiful combination of love and dysfunction that Gillian admired. They worked so well together, and she loved to watch it in action. “I apologize in place of Kyle, you little eskimo,” She cooed, and leaned over to pinch Rory’s cheek. Upon sitting back up, she managed to pull her legs up with her and prop her elbows on them, bringing the mug of Christmas up to her lips.
“Hmm,” Gillian hummed in between sips of coffee. She was struggling internally between selfishness and compromising. She really liked Little Miss Sunshine, and this was the choice she felt most reasonable, since it seemed like most everyone here liked it, but Across the Universe was definitely one of Gillian’s all-time favorites. Gillian stop sipping and let out a big, exaggerated sigh, laying her head on Kyle’s shoulder. ”Well,” She stalled, finishing off her coffee and setting her mug on the ground, so that she could curl up in the blanket again, “Little Miss Sunshine seems to be a very popular vote tonight, so I’m just going to jump on this here bandwagon and vote LMS, Kyle.” Gillian had now sunk into the blanket so far that any part of her body below her eyes was now covered. “Let’s get this party started,” she suggested, awkwardly nonchalant, her voice slightly muffled by the blanket.

"But Across the Universeeeeee," Kyle whined, only to be hit in the legs by Rory's head. He stared, eyes wide, before bringing a finger to his lips and shushing. Kyle only groaned and nodded. "Alright. Little Miss Sunshine it is. Who wants to put it in NOT ME NOT ME!" With that, Kyle sunk under the blanket and flipped what he could of it up over his head. "Not meee!" he continued to say, though it was now muffled. Rory sighed and looked at his igloo, then at Kyle and Gillian who were both wrapped in blankets.
"Alright fine," he said and stood, watching in sadness as his igloo collapsed again. Moving behind the couch towards the projector, Rory opened the DVD case and put it into the machine. After a couple buttons were pressed and Rory picked the correct remote (out of like seven), he turned off the lights then returned to the front of the couch. Rather than sitting on the ground to rebuild, though, he sat directly on top of Kyle who was still covered in blankets.
"Rory you smell," Kyle said softly after a bit of a struggle from trying to get the boy off. "Also, not fair. Your butt is HUGE."
Rory only snorted. "I got the booty," he whispered as he stood and sunk to the ground where he rebuilt his igloo yet again, a smile on his face. That's about when the movie started to play.

“Sorry, Rory,” Gillian chimed, her voice considerably small under the blanket. She felt kind of bad for Rory and his endless struggle between being the adult and also keeping a pillow-igloo, but the feeling of comfort was overpowering that pity considerably. There was no way she was about to get up out of this comfy spot right here.
Gillian lifted herself from Kyle, giving herself space from Rory and his butt. This act was accompanied by a subtle laugh, and then an exposed smile as Gillian pulled her half of the blanket down from her face and under her chin. “He dooooo!” She called out, and then pulled the blanket over her head, both to hide self-induced embarrassment as well as to visit Kyle.
“Hey,” she whispered, “the movie is starting,” her head was turned to the general area she figured Kyle’s face was. She couldn’t really see what part of his body she was facing but she could feel his breath so it had to be close, right? She let her words linger, and stayed under the blanket with Kyle.

Kyle giggled when Gillian was suddenly beneath the blanket with him. When Rory had turned out the lights, his little fort had gone completely black. He couldn't see Gillian at all and figured she couldn't see him either which just made him laugh. "I know it is," he whispered back in response to her saying the movie was starting. But he didn't move the blanket yet. Instead, he reached a hand up (hoping not to jab her in the eye) and poked her nose. It was actually pretty lucky he found her nose and didn't accidentally shove his hand into her mouth or something.
"I'm hungry," he whispered again, still keeping beneath the blanket.
"Yo. Cuddle buddies. Keep it PG up there," Rory grunted, swinging an arm back to smack the bottom of the couch and hopefully startle the two.
Kyle chuckled. Rory knew more than well that Kyle wasn't into Gillian like that. And he should've known Gillian was the same way. But of course, that would never stop him from teasing. "Shush, igloo boy," Kyle hissed, now peeking his head out from under the blankets and catching the glow of the opening scene as it came across the projection screen.
