[Adele 'Dexxie' Dexton]

'Yeah we should probably get them inside', Dexxie agreed, adjusting the strap of her absurdly heavy bag on her shoulder. Why had she packed so much stuff? Seriously, her apartment was nearly empty when she left for the trip. Still, at least she couldn't have possibly forgotten anything, which was a plus. 

'A Nanny, really?', Dexxie asked, steadily  making her way towards the front door. There were sounds of shouting and laughter from inside, so it seemed like the fun had already begun. It figured though, that Esme would have gotten a Nanny, she was fancy like that, and her dad had a shit ton of money. Still, Dexxie had never left the babies with anyone as of yet, she wasn't sure she could deal with it. 'That might some in handy', she replied, not wanting to shoot down the idea. 

Once inside she spotted Esme and asked her which room was hers. The place was huge and it turned out Dexxie and the babies were in the third room on the left on the first story. Cool. It looked like there was a game of truth or dare going on which Dexxie probably wouldn't end up joining in with, well, not until much later anyway.

'Can you carry them to my room please?', Dexxie asked gesturing at the babies, 'Then you can go back outside and play in the snow if you want', she laughed.

Rory nodded when Dexxie asked him to carry the babies to her room. "Of course," he smiled, squatting to pick up the babies which he'd put down while Dexxie was talking to Esme about rooms. When she said he could go out and play in the snow once he'd dropped of the babies, Rory snorted. "Nah, I'll stay here with you," he said as he started down the hall. "Kyle would probably just try to climb up on my shoulders and use me as a human firing tower anyway."

Upon reaching the room, Rory stepped aside and waited for Dexxie to enter first. He hadn't seen if Esme had handed her a key or a keycard or something, so he figured he'd just wait. It might've actually just been open.. but whatever. He had two babies to hold anyway. She could get the door, he figured.

'All she gave me was this, credit card thing?', Dexxie put down her bags and fished out he piece of plastic from her pocket and turned it over in her hands. Where did it go? Dexxie had seriously never used one before and ... Oh! There it was, a little thing that you slid the card through, fancy.

Dexxie pushed the door open and walked in, she drew a sharp breath.
'Oh my God', she murmured putting her bags down on the floor. The room was beautiful, and it had to have the best view in the whole place because outside the window it was all snowy mountains, ski lifts and Christmas trees. It looked like something from a movie.

'This is crazy, can you believe this?', she laughed, shaking her head, her grandparents wouldn't believe her when she told them about her vacation.

Rory set the twins on the bed and moved to the window when Dexxie did. "Man," he said quietly, looking out at the mountains. He'd never really been all to big on the outdoors.. but this was stunning. Simply breath taking. "This is so much better than like.. anything I've seen," he added a moment later, looking at Dexxie. She seemed completely absorbed in the whole thing. That made him smile.

But mid-stare, one of the twins started crying which, of course, set off the other. "Aw damn," Rory said, turning to look at the two now red little crying things. "Its so beautiful they're crying with joy!" Rory joked, putting his hands in the air as he walked over to them. But when he approached, he realized he had no clue how to stop their crying. So he just sort of.. stood there.

'Oh no', Dexxie laughed, too excited about being at the resort to be annoyed that the boys were crying, besides they were probably just hungry.

'Oh no, no, no', Dexxie cooed, swiftly removing each baby from his car seat she scooped Noah up in her arms and bounced him a little until his cries quietened down, 'Here, you've held him before, just a second okay?', Dexxie passed Noah to Rory and then picked up Issac and did the same.

'Okay, bottles, bottles ... Where did I put them', Dexxie searched through her bag one handed until she found two bottles of premade formula. It took a little bit of maneuvering and baby swapping, and so on but eventually Dexxie was sat on the bed, he babies propped up on pillows so they could drink, and a bottle in each of her hands. It was sort of comical to look at, Dexxie just sat there feeding the boys simultaneously, she'd definitely had practice.

'That was hard work'.

When the hustle and bustle was through, Rory sat on the edge of the bed and huffed. "Babies are a handful," he said, as if that wasn't clear. He was smiling, though, not at all beaten down by that little bit of work they'd done. But it was still a bit of a shock to him how much went into children. He'd never really stopped and thought about the fact that these were little humans and if you didn't take care of them, well... y'know. It made him appreciate his mom. From the stories he'd heard, Rory was a serious brat.

After a bit of feeding, the twins seemed to calm down pretty quickly. Within seconds they were back to their silent, mushy and motionless little selves. Rory scooted a bit closer to Dexxie, but truthfully just to get closer to the boys. "They're so cute when they're not wailing," he said, tickling Noah's tummy a bit with his index finger. Once he'd pulled back, Rory stood and took off his hat. Running a hand back through his ridiculously matted hair, he sighed and turned to look out the window just as Kyle ran by with about forty snowballs in his arms. Thankfully he hadn't looked in and seen Rory or he'd be knocking on the window making kissy faces. Rory laughed at the thought and moved forward a bit to peek out and see where he'd gone.

"Hey, hungry?" he asked Dexxie, his face pressed against the glass as he watched Kyle sprint to the end of the building, stop, and turn to go back around the front.

'Yeah, kinda', Dexxie replied, a little absent-mindedly, busy mopping up excess milk/drool from Issac's chin. Who said motherhood isn't glamorous? Dexxie assumed that there would be food in the kitchen downstairs that they could help themselves to. Until she thought it through a little. They'd only just got here, no one had chance to go to a store yet, she pulled a face at Rory.

'Where are we gonna get food from though?', she asked, 'I mean I really don't wanna leave the cabin again, I'd have to sort these guys out all over', she sighed.

Rory turned from the window a bit and crossed one arm over his chest, resting the other atop it and taking hold of his chin. "Hmm," he groaned a bit, thinking about all the food exits he'd seen on the way up here. "I could always go get like.. McDonald's or something. Could drive into town on the bus," he suggested, turning fully to look at Dexxie now.

"Oh hey you wanna try out that nanny? Or.. not comfortable with that?"

Dexxie frowned and crossed her arms across her chest, she didn't want to admit that she was scared to leave her babies in the care of someone else. Rory probably wouldn't understand how hard that would be. Thing was, on some level she really wanted to try it because, why not now?

'Yeah, I guess that would be okay ...', Dexxie trailed off, 'I mean, isn't there some kind of food place in the resort though, I don't really want us to drive somewhere and maybe get stuck in the snow or something', she added, biting her lip. The thought of leaving her babies really made her nervous, her heart was racing. Before she could change her mind she text Esme to get her a Nanny, because Dexxie had no idea where to go to find one.

'I think all the places to get food here are kinda fancy though, I might need to change', Dexxie muttered, mostly to herself as she looked down at her slightly grubby yellow and white sweater.

"Yea man good call," Rory said in regards to eating in the resort. He wasn't used to the fact that places like this had food other than regular hotel food which was usually plastic. He bet there might even be full on restaurants in this place. The thought of that made him smile, but also made his stomach grumble. When Dexxie suggested she might change, Rory looked down at himself. He didn't think he looked bad, but if these restaurants were 'fancy', he might as well put on something that wasn't a ridiculous 'R' sweater that looked an awful lot like something out of Harry Potter.

"Good call on that too," he said with a snort, then turned to look at his bags. (I forgot completely about the fact that he'd have bags so we're just gonna pretend they got in the room somehow). "I'm uh.. do you want the bathroom, or should I take the bathroom?" he asked, pointing between himself and her.
