“Morally wrong ? I hope you don’t mind me prying,” he figured he didn’t have to ask that because she pretty much knew more about him then he told most people, but decided to anyway, “Do you think having sex before you’re married is morally wrong, or…” He was confused by what she meant by morally wrong, when she said that.
“I get it though, I tend to give off that vibe,” he chuckled. He honestly did tend to be mean to people sometimes, well most of the time. Unless he was trying to get a girl, and it felt a little weird the connection they had was strong, and it had only been a short time since they met. He thought it was weird that he hadn’t found a reason to kick her out yet, he was genuinely interested in her. She seemed like an interesting person. This whole conversation wasn’t boring to him, like it was with most girls, or the normal awkward after sex talk thing that wasn’t fun.
“Oh see I knew I was interesting,” he laughed at her comment about people here starting their own drama to have fun, that might have been true, he didn’t really follow the popular people who tended to be involved with most of the drama, and stay in the back of the crowd, being ignored by most people.

"Of course not," Aliana shook her head, "I was just about to have sex with you, wasn't I?" she raised an eyebrow, then half-laughed, "I just meant morally wrong, like... I don't know, murdering someone in a church or something. Well, maybe not to that extent, but, you know, maybe making fun of someone for having an eating disorder?" she shrugged, "That's what I meant."
Aliana smiled, moving over so she was next to Alex, "You know, I haven't even known you for a day," she exhaled, "but you're probably one of the best friends I've made here," she smiled; it was weird, Aliana wasn't used to making friends so fast, her guard always up, and she always seemed to be judging people. But that wasn't how she was right now, with Alex, "maybe you're just special."

“I don’t know if I should take that as a complement,” he laughed, when she called him special, because he was pretty sure she meant it as a good thing, he was only teasing her, he was starting to have the same feeling about her though, it was weird that he’d only known her for a little while and she already knew so much about him. More than a lot of this friends knew, not that he did have many friends in the first place, Alex found it odd he was capable of having a conversation with a girl who had just come here for one thing. Even if she seemed to be a nice person there was something about her more then the fact that he liked her because she was a nice person.
“You’re…” he couldn’t seem to find the right word, “Special,” he said half laughing, “Well what I mean is I’ve never done anything like this—You know having a conversation with a girl-- and it’s kind of weird, and you’re really interesting…” Again he couldn’t find the right words to say, “You don’t seem fake like some people from around here,” he shrugged, “I hope that made sense,” he said with a grin.

Aliana lowered her eyes as the door to Alex's dorm came closer and closer into her view, unsure of why she was really showing up there. Though she had been concealing it, she was still pretty pissed about the whole ordeal with him flirting with that Prudence chick or whatever in the chatroom -- not that she was going to ever admit to that. Jealousy implied insecurities, which Aliana insisted she didn't have. Insecurities were a weakness and Aliana was not weak. Once she stood in front of it, she lifted her hand up to knock, then, realizing she should save him the trouble of getting up from wherever he was to go find and open his door, she opened it... and once she did, a knot formed in her stomach.
Dear god, why am I even here? She let out a breath, nearly regretting walking all the way over there in the first place. She certainly wasn't in the mood to really do anything... but, what else was she going to do? Talk about her feelings? What feelings? I don't have any feelings. Feelings don't exist. What are you talking about? She shook her head, closing the door behind her and smirking slightly when she saw Alex at his computer, "Guess who?" she called out, walking over then taking a seat on his bed, leaning back and making herself comfortable.

He was suprised when he heard someone come into his dorm. Who was at his dorm? Who would want to be? "I have no idea... Is it grandma?" He asked, laughing. He was almost sure it was Aliana, but he didn't say so, "I don't actually have any pizza, I mean, we could get some if you want..." He said. He wasn't exactly sure why Aliana made him so nervous, he was normally confident about what he was saying, but for some reason when he was with her, he just said stupid things.
"I don't think they make beef jerky pizza though," exibit A. He was probably just trying to hide his feelings, which was not working. He didn't have feelings for anyone, he'd just get his feelings hurt anyway because who would want to love a blind kid? "I didn't think you were actually gonna come... I kind of thought you were still mad at me or something " Exibit B. Bringing up stuff that didn't need to be brought up. He was pretty sure that she was over that, but it was hard to tell through a computer with a robot voice, but when he thought about it. He probably would have reacted the same way if she was flirting with someone like Cooper --The bad one, cause he was pretty sure the good one was gay-- he would have acted Jealous too. How could he not she was... Well... He didn't have a word for it, but there was something about her.

Of course I'm still mad, idiot. Aliana only smiled, standing up again, walking over to Alex and taking a seat on his lap, "Mad? I told you already, I'm fine," she insisted, though her tone sounded pretty forced. She shook her head and rolled her eyes, "besides, I thought you already established that we were just friends, emphasis on the 'friends'," she adjusted her position on him and turned her head to look Alex in the eyes-- err, sunglasses... "we aren't together so it shouldn't matter, right?" Wrong. It definitely matters to me. Aliana was lying straight through her teeth and soon enough she was going to slip up.
"Let's just bury it," she pursed her lips and shrugged, "I still like you no matter what." At least that wasn't a lie. Aliana was to the point where see didn't even really know why she was lying. Half the things she was saying she at least wanted to believe, that should've counted for something! Apart of her was trying to convince herself that she meant what she was saying, while the other was warding off at signs of feelings for Alex. Which would ultimately end in a worse case scenario on Aliana's part, what if he rejected her? Talk about pathetic. Alex was legally blind, rejection would only mean that it was whoa she was that turned him off, not what she looked like.

She seemed a little upset, and for a second he thought about what Esme had said about the jealousy thing, but he didn’t know her well enough to tell that she was actually upset, or something, it could have been anything. So he ignored the feeling he had that she was upset at him. “Friends,” he repeated. Even though he seemed a little bit sad about it, and it might have been caught in his tone, but he continued. What was he even supposed to say? That he liked her, but it was pointless because he didn’t think she wanted him like that? Yeah that seemed like a great idea. He didn’t find it possible that Aliana liked him, and past that she wouldn’t want anything to do with him, and a relationship if they ever got there, which at this rate they wouldn’t. “I mean, yeah and if were together I wouldn’t do stupid stuff like that I mean, I might seem like a douche, but if I decided to be in a relationship with a girl, which um… could happen at some point… if there was a girl I liked enough…. I wouldn’t cheat on her cause that just seems stupid.” He sighed. What was he saying? Oh yeah, “I mean not that I want to or anything,” that was pretty much a complete and total lie. “With anyone,” definitely not with one certain girl that was sitting on his lap. again he was lying to himself. “I already told you this though… I think… Relationships don’t work out right for me, so I guess it doesn’t matter,” by the time he got done saying all that he felt pretty stupid, but he forced a smile. “I like you too,” he said, not sure if it would be awkward to leave it at that or not, “I mean as a friend of course,” he corrected himself, again feeling nervous that all the words just seemed to come out wrong, but sinde they were on that whole friend thing. He figured he’d try it out. It didn’t seem like the right word, but he just told himself he’d get over it eventually, right? He was just as sure of that as he was that she wasn’t mad at this point. Damn girls are confusing.

"Alright, you know what? I get it, we're friends, I don't need a daily reminder of it," Aliana seemed a little irritated now, climbing off Alex's lap. Somehow hearing the words out loud in his voice seemed to affect her more so than through the chat room. Why do I even bother if he's so dead-set on friend zoning me? God, I'm pathetic. She sort of just stood there for a second, taking a breather, her back turned to Alex. Aliana placed her hands on her hips and looked down, taking in a deep breath, before turning to him again, "I... didn't mean to blow up on you like that," her voice was calmer, "sorry."
She scratched the back of her head, then resumed her original seat on his bed when she'd first entered the room, "I mean," she forced a chuckle, "even if we were ever together, that just..." Aliana blinked, "I mean, assuming that would happen or if it were a possibility," she cocked her head to the side, then leaned back, "I don't..." She scrunched her eyebrows, searching for the right words, "things would probably be really different, and uh, I like how it is, you know, with us," she bit her lip then looked up at Alex, "don't you?"

"Huh?" He asked when she seemed to shout at him. It's not like I need a reminder of it either but.... "I don't see why it matters I mean, you like being just friends? Don't you? " of course dodn't shejust say that? He seemed to be growing a little irritatated because he didn't know what to think. What was he supposed to say to her? It would have been so much easier if he didn't get attached to her.
"It's fine?" He took a deep breath, "This is l fine," he said in a sarcastic tone, he honestly didn't know whyhe was so annoyed, he hadn't really made his feelings clear yet so it wasn't like she knew how he felt. Clearly, she probably didn't share the same feelings, so what was he supposed to do tell her that he wanted to be more then friends? How did he even go about doing that? Wouldn't it be easier to just be friends, eventually he'd get over her? Right? "I love This," he said with a forced smile on his face, and gave her a thumbs up. He was jut annoyed, honestly he didn't even know what this was, and to tell the truth it wasn't actually working so well, he thought.

Aliana only looked up at Alex and scoffed, "Seriously?" she sat up, "You're mad at me now?" Alright, so maybe he had a right to be, with her acting angrily at him for no particular reason... but Aliana didn't see that. She was much too busy being caught up in her own emotions to particularly care too much about how she was treating him right then, "I really don't see what the problem is here, why are we fighting if we're friends? We agreed that that was all we were," Aliana clutched onto his comforter, frustratedly. She wasn't even sure what was causing them to fight anymore, or why they were in the first place. If this were in the chat room, she could easily have logged off and turned off her computer to take a breather, which she really felt she needed right then, but Aliana wouldn't just walk away from this.
"I mean, shit, what do you even want?"
