It's December 20th, btw
Carol wanted to do a cartwheel in the show, she was so happy. For the first time since September, she had legs! She still needed physical therepy and walked with a pimp limp, but at least her cane was spiffy and sparkly, right? She was told to take it easy, but she didn't think going to a party was going to be that big of a deal. Unless Max Manson showed up, she'd have no reason to fight anybody, and even if she did, Wyatt wouldn't let her. No one wanted her to break her leg again. That wheelchair was hell, and she was pretty sure she'd gained about ten pounds due to lack of exercise.
She was leaning on Wyatt as they walked out to the fire, as she'd decided to leave her cane in the car. This party was already well underway, but had yet to get crazy. Clearly that was because she'd just arrived. Walking through the crowd, she was stopped a few times by random people telling her how happy they were that she was no longer in her wheel chair or crutches. She just smiled and thanked them, pretended to laugh at their I guess you're no longer a cripple jokes. It was nice being one of the most popular girls in school, because even though she was often seen as a bit of a bitch, there would always be those people desperate to be friends with her. Not really for the sake of actually liking her, but just because of the things that came with being the queen bee.
"Baby, get me a beer?" Carol asked Wyatt as she sat down at one of the benches. When he was gone, she scanned the party and saw Kegan and Thalia walking up. She'd been texting Thal all day asking her what she was wearing, talking about their boys, enthusing about her being able to walk again. This was the first time in what felt like forever they'd been able to hang out, what with her leg and Thalia having to take care of Cole and Kegan. She waved her hand in the air, "Thalia! Kegan!" She called over the blaring music. She smiled at them when they walked over and reached her arms up to her best friend, as if asking for a hug. "I missed you!" She said into her hair. "You look so great! Has my cousin been treating you right?" She asked with a playful look over at Kegan. He rolled his eyes, "Where's Wyatt?" He asked her, not really seeming up to being made fun of tonight. When Carol pointed to the keg and Kegan had left, she looked back at Thalia. "What the hell is his problem?"
Kegan had a lot on his mind tonight. Most of it was concerning Max, and the fact that he'd just broken his cousin's heart and then tried to get back with his ex girlfriend. What was up with him? He'd talked so much shit about Rozzi since they broke up, and then all of sudden he was trying to get with her? He thought it was more than a little weird that he was dating his fourteen year old cousin, but he'd seemed pretty happy. As smart as Brielle was, she was still young and immature, and that was something Max needed. But then he'd apparently called her a child and gotten punched in the mouth. It was all very dramatic. When he made it up to the keg, he grabbed Wyatt's shoulder. "Hey man. We need to talk," He said. He took one of the beers out of his hands, which was probably meant for Carol, but she was over by the fire gossiping with his fiance, so she'd probably forget. "Max has lost his fucking mind," He said after taking a sip. It was definitely cheap beer, didn't taste very good, but really. Beer was beer. This could be his only one tonight, since he'd be driving, so he was going to have to enjoy it.

When Sam and Wednesday arrived at the party it was clear to see that Wednesday had probably had a little bit too much to drink already. The first clue was that Sam was having to give her a piggy back ride to where the center of the party was because she refused to talk. Sam wasn't that happy about it, seeing as he and Wednesday weren't the best of friends, but he'd stumbled across her while he was on his way to the party and it seemed rude to deny her a piggy back ride when she'd asked so nicely, and given him a mini bottle of Jack Daniel's. Score! Sam set Wednesday down next to a bunch of people and then went to help himself to a drink, all the while keeping an eye out for Rozzi, who was the only reason he'd actually come to the thing in the first place. Getting past his dad had been a nightmare, in the end he'd had to bull shit some story about studying and music and ... Yeah, he couldn't even remember what lies he'd told. Overhearing someone say Max's name Sam looked around and saw it was a kid called Kegan, Sam didn't know him too well but he wandered over beer in hand, 'Hey, you guys alright?', he asked casually and when Wyatt and Kegan gave him strange looks he shrugged, 'I heard you say Max, what's that prick done now?'.

Wyatt was almost as happy as Carol to see that she got her cast off, but that was because he was getting really tired of pushing her around all the time. Although he wouldn't say that because he knew it would hurt her feelings he liked her better when she wasn't a cripple, but there were other reasons too. He nodded and went to get her a beer when she said that, he figured she wanted to talk with Thalia, like girl talk or something, and he didn't feel like hearing it.
He was just about to walk back over there when Kegan came up to him and said he wanted to talk. "What's up?" he asked. He hadn't talked to Kegan in forever, or Max, but that was because he was really scared to get punched in the face if he said something to Max. He really didn't need that, because knowing that it was Max he would give zero fucks if he would feel bad after he would probably just go at him. Which he did not need. That and the shooting had gave him so really messed up dreams about his dad and he was scared to get hit now.
"Yeah I know..." he looked at the Sam kid. "Haha good question," he said he had heard about everything he was sure but he wasn't sure what Kegan wanted to talk about it for. He was going to say something about not beating him up when Rozzi walked over and joined them.
"Hey," she sounded much happier then the rest of the crowd. "I thought you'd be with Carol considering she just got her cast off," she said.
"Oh hush," he replied.
"So why are we all in a circle?" she looked over at Sam since when did he talk to these people anyway? This was kind of weird. "Hey I haven't seen you in forever," she said to Kegan. She knew he was busy with Cole and the twins so he had an excuse, well and the fact that she hadn't been at school, and they had never really been the best of friends anyway, but it was nice to actually see people again. Well not if max was going to be here. She was pretty determined to get over him, especially with Sam around since he was so nice to her.

Ben had been by the keg getting Lulu and her whores girlfriends some drinks. He was just about to turn away and get back to the Big Boobie Bitches when he noticed Sam there talking to...Kegan Conley? And Wyatt Whats-His-Face? How the hell did he know them? He was pretty sure that Kegan didn't like them since they had a class together last year and he called him a "fucking retarded stoner". But hey, maybe after having a few kids he'd mellowed out. He walked behind Sam and gave his bottom a squeeze before he stood between him and some girl he didn't know. "Sup, guys? Circle time?" He asked. He looked down at the girl, and noticing her fancy hair, he stuck his face in it, nuzzling her head. "I like your hair. You smell like strawberries." He pulled his head back, and then called in the direction of where he knew his girlfriend was. "Hey, Luser!" He yelled, not noticing that it was right in some guy's ear. He knew Lulu didn't appreciate the nickname, but he figured she'd get over it. "Lu, come sniff this chick, she smells like fruit!"
Kegan didn't even have time to greet Rozzi before Benji Loveless was walking over and smelling her. What a freak. Two freaks, actually. Why the hell did Sam whatever his last name was think it was okay to talk to them? And insult his best friend? Only he was allowed to do that! But still, he didn't feel like getting into an argument tonight, so he just tried to act like this was a normal thing. "Max pretty much fucked over my cousin, and then got rejected," He took a sip of his beer and looked over at the only girl in this group. "Isn't that right, Rozz?" He wasn't trying to piss her off, more so find out what happened from her point of view. All he knew was that Max was crying like a little bitch, and didn't give two shits about pretty much ruining a young girl's life.

'Alright, you cheeky devil?', Sam laughed, winking at Benji and pushed him back a little so he could stand next to Rozzi instead. Benji was right, she did smell like strawberries, he grinned at her and reached out for her hand to hold. They were sort of kind of dating now, so that was an okay thing to do right? 'Who's your cousin?', Sam asked, obviously not up to date on all this gossip. How hard it must be being a popular kid, so much stuff to keep up with, parties to attend ... Babies to look after.

"Thanks? It fades like a bitch though," She was a little weird-ed out by the fact that there was a guy smelling her, but apparently he was friends with Sam so she didn't say anything. She took his hand though, maybe they were sort of a couple, and it was ok, she still wasn't sure exactly what they were but she didn't think right now was the time to talk about that. "And yeah Max is an idiot and tried to get me back after he cheated on me, and I told him no..." she wasn't sure where this conversation was going. She wanted Max to get what he deserved and it wasn't even that much about her, but more about Brielle she felt really bad for that girl because she got dumped for no reason, and she knew what it was like to have everything taken from her by a douche, but when you were that young? That had to suck. She didn't want to talk about him though because she was with Sam and he was such a sweet guy, she was pretty sure he didn't want to hear about it any more. She looked over at Sam. "Let's go over there," she used the hand that he was holding to motion in a random direction. "I'll talk to you later Kegan," she said as she dragged Sam off to talk to some other people.
"Kegan we have established that Max is like the biggest douche ever, but he already got beat up by a girl , and he might go to jail." He was just putting that out there so that Kegan didn't do anything stupid. "He'll get what he deserves," Wyatt didn't really see the point in talking about this. "I told her after Carol found out about them having sex that he was going to break her heart, after I locked her in the closet so she didn't kill him herself. He's not really worth making a big deal out of," Well that and Wyatt was seriously scared of getting hit by Max.
He knew that Max got in more fights then he did considering that he had gotten in a grand total of one, since forever, well with his dad didn't count, but he didn't want to get in another one because he didn't like it. He didn't know that anyone deserved that, even though he was pretty sure that he could have beat max if he wanted to, having someone swing at him would bring back so many things he was trying hard not to think about. Especially since the shooting had done the same thing to him. "You probably don't want to hear this from me because I always say this, but getting in a fight with him isn't worth it," he told Kegan.

( www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=87304021 )Lulu had pre-gamed before the party, mainly because Natasha and the rest of her girls refused to leave the house until she took at least one shot, which turned into like, four plus a half bottle of beer. Beer before liquor makes you sicker, liquor before beer you're in the clear, am I right? Lulu may not have had the best influencing friends, they slept around, went out nearly every night, and could probably dress in less revealing clothes -- but that's apart of why Lulu loved them, they were a whole lot more scandalous than her parents made herself out to be, but they also knew how to have fun and not care what anyone thought. They also cleared out the uglies at the club, so there was that. She was about to take a shot off Natasha, squeezing a slice of lime onto the girl's neck, until she heard Ben call her that annoying nickname that she could never come up with a clever comeback to, and she shot her head back, scrunching her eyebrows when he saw him sniffing some girl, and she stuffed the like into Natasha's mouth, walking over to the circle, "Does she really?" Lulu grabbed ahold of a piece of Rozzi's hair, taking a whiff, "oh my god you're just like that doll I used to have when I was six with the red hair -- Strawberry Fruitcake? Shortcake! Shortcake, there we go!"

It was getting to be quite the habit that Kazzie was going to so many parties, but it was the life she lived. She also saw this as an opportunity to meet new people, seeing as it was a Somerset student hosted party. She couldn’t remember exactly how she found out about it, but she wasn’t about to turn down an invite, let alone a party. The party wasn’t on school grounds, as most parties were not. She only wanted to have a good time, not exactly looking for anything in particular. Some girls just wanted to have fun, and Kazzie was not exception.
The night was brisk, but it was December; what else should one expect? While Kazzie was regretting her choice in light clothing, she also knew her habit of getting extremely warm when consuming alcohol. She had a tendency to smoke before going to these high school parties. With her nerves gone she was able to socialize and think clearer. She didn’t want to be stoned before this party, but a little high never hurt anyone. Blazing through half a joint she bumped the tip against the side of her car extinguishing the flame. A little eye drops here and a spray of perfume and no one was the wiser. Throwing her “kit” under her car seat, she locked her doors and made her way to the party.
Opening the door there were a few people, some she even recognized. The only person she knew was Ben, and even then she didn’t really know him. She had seen him at another party and had become wasted together. She probably told him her life story, something she did when she blacked out. It was a strange bonding experience, but she appreciated it now with a friendly face in the crowd. She grabbed a cup and poured god knows what into it- jungle juice maybe? The music was nice, something she appreciated more when she smoked. “Hey Ben,” she walked up to him not noticing him in a conversation. She stopped beside him though catching the end of some sort of serious talk. Oh, she remembered this girl. Rozzi? Yeah, that sounded about right. She always seemed like someone she’d be friends with, just a feeling.

"Well goodbye to you, too, Strawberry Shortcake!" Ben called to the girl as she walked away with Sam. Were they dating? He could definitely see that. They looked cute together. Sam and whatever he name was. He wrapped his arms around Lulu's shoulders and turned to whoever called his name. It took him a second to remember who she was, but when he did, his eyes lit up.
"Kazziemarie!" He yelled a little too loudly. "Luser, have you met my friend, Kazziemarie? She says that's not her real name, but I don't believe her." He was always giving people nicknames that he was quite fond of. There was Luser, Torpedo Titties, Sugar Tits, Super Titties, and those were just a few he'd come up with for Lulu alone. He called some girl named Hannah Hannie Bananie, Jere Bear...He knew he had more awesome names for people, but he was a little buzzed and couldn't think of them at the time.
"We really need to do something about him," Kegan said to Wyatt. "If Carol sees him, bum leg or not, you know she's going to try to kill him. Personally, I really don't care. I think it's disturbing and everything, especially because I walked in on them like fucking when Carol found out, but whatever. We always knew he liked young girls. But still." He sipped his beer and shrugged. "How much do you want to bet on Carol trying to bite him?" He looked over at his friend. A few months back, he and Max were inseparable, Wyatt being a bit of the odd man out. But now, he'd much rather be in his company than Thalia's brother. He wasn't sure what it was, but Max had changed. Or maybe he and Wyatt had just grown up, and their friend was still the same.

"Did she just call me strawberry shortcake?" Rozzi said as she walked away, but not before running into Kazzie... she was from the chat room right? It was hard to forget a weird name like that. She had a feeling that they would be friends, but who knew people turned out to be different then they seemed like. "Hey." she said to the girl. "You're Kazzie right?" She asked. "I think we met in the chat one time," she made herself seem super awkward, but it was definitely better then talking about Max, how was she supposed to be getting over him if everyone kept talking about him? She really didn't want to hear about him anymore.
Wyatt wasn't sure what to say to that. Max was his friend at one point no matter what he did. "I'll take care of her, I don't want her to get in trouble," he said. "But don't go do anything stupid, cause e'd probably beat the shit out of you," he figured Max would win in that fight, but he didn't want to say it that way. "Go have fun with Thalia or something," he shook his head before taking the cup that was still in his hand back over to Carol. Maybe Max wouldn't even show his face. He didn't want to admit that Kegan was probably right when he said that Carol would kill him if he showed up, which meant he should probably stop her from hurting him again.
He handed Carol the cup, and leaned in to give her a kiss. He had told her how happy he was that she had gotten her cast off already, but he felt the need to keep reminding her that she got it off, it was more of a hint type thing, and now a distraction because he didn't want her to get in trouble. "I'm glad you got your cast off," he said, before he gave her another kiss. Yeah that was probably the only thing he could think of to keep her from beating up Max if he decided to show up and he missed it. That whole trying not to hurt her thing was getting old.
