History:
Nevada knows very little about her birth parents, all she does know is that they gave her a name, and then they left her outside the hospital in which she was born. Baby Nevada was found later that day by a nurse who carefully removed the tiny piece of paper clipped to the babies blanket and read the name, Nevada Bianca, of course there was no last name. The nurse called social services and from then on Nevada was passed from foster home to foster home, never staying at any of them for more than two years.
It's rare that children ever have good experiences with the foster system, and Nevada was no exception to that. There were homes where she was bullied by the other children for the way she looked. There were homes where she was bullied by the people who were meant to be looking after her. The one word that always seemed to crop up was ugly, and it stuck.
At the age of fourteen Nevada opted out of the foster system, choosing instead to go to a boarding school in the state of her choice, and she chose New York. New York seemed like such a big exciting place, she thought she'd feel safe among the skyscrapers, getting lost in the crowds. Except, it wasn't like that. The school Nevada ended up at was awful, she was picked on everyday. The girls called her ugly. The teachers called her stupid, and the boys well ... One boy in particular did something far worse, his reason? This is the only way you'll ever get any, freak. After that incident Nevada moved to Somerset and tried to get on with her life, but it was tough. It still is tough.

Appearance:
Nevada is albino, which means she has a lack of pigment in her hair and skin. It's something that she has always been teased for. Nevada's hair is almost white, in some lights it does have a hint of blonde to it. People tend to assume that albino's have to have pink eyes, but that's not the case, Nevada's eyes are a very pale blue which sometimes look lilac, and her eyelashes and eyebrows are the same colour as her hair.
As for her body, well, Nevada is a very petite 5"3 and is not much more than skin and bones.
Other:
- Nevada was allowed to choose her own last name, as she'd never really stuck with a family long enough to get one. The name 'Nyx', means white and she saw it fitting, what with her pale skin and almost white hair.
- Dreams of traveling the globe.
- Loves taking walks, and always has her camera at hand.
- Owns two albino rats called Harry and Ron. (Loves Harry Potter)
