Despite attending a school with such a high teenage pregnancy rate that they had to build a daycare, Ingrid and Leonardo did not have a child of their own due to well not being irresponsible dumb asses which was obviously a good thing. But, what were they suppose to do when someone with a child wanted to go do something like go to the aquarium? It's not that you can't go if you don’t have a child but it's always more fun to see the amazement in a child's eyes as they watch all of the fish swimming around so she did the only reasonable thing in this situation.. No, she did not get pregnant on purpose like Caroline and Aubrey. She decided that she and Leonardo were going to make Mark their 'child' for the day which included buying him a sea otter hat at the gift shop and strapping a sea otter harness onto his back so he couldn't wander off and get lost which would be perfectly responsible if he wasn't an almost six foot tall which was taller than her since she stood at 5'8 so it was definitely going to be a sight to see for all of the other people around them. Who all was going anyway?
She was still ranting under her breath about the nerve of the 'rude' ticket person who did not believe her that her friend was really her child and should have a child's ticket. It wasn't that she and Leonardo were some basic bitches who couldn't afford three adult tickets but this really was going to add to the experience or at least that's what she believed. Isn't getting crap at a cheaper price half of why people even decided to have children? Well and the special parking spots in the front which she took one of but she was smart enough to take Esme's old car seat from Cici was a newborn and slip it into her backseat so it looked like they actually had a baby in the car and her amazing new car did not get tolled.. That would really ruin the day. “Okay... Mark, what do you want to look at first? It's your day!” She said this while handing him a colorful popsicle even though it was cold and she was slightly concerned that he was going to try and feed it to some poor animal.. Was there anything that he could get close enough to attempt? Possibly if he threw it in with the starfish... He knew better, right? Right.
So far all that they had seen was the inside of the gift shop so she was really looking forward to actually doing things even if she was starting to realize that she really should have worn some sort of jacket since it was chilly in here. But hey, at least she looked good! She was clenching Leo's hand with more force than she intended but it was kind of buggy being in such a big crowd.

Esme honestly felt like a cunt.. A big fat bitchy cunt of a wife. Why? Because she was going to the aquarium with Cici and Danny instead of going with her husband, Jonathan like a normal person would. It wasn't that she didn't want to go with Jon because she loved doing things with him but he was working today and she just really needed to get out of the house and do something. So, when she found out that a group of her friends were going to the aquarium, she jumped on the opportunity but she did want to bring someone along to help her a little with Cici meaning push that heavy ass stroller around. She really hated the stroller.. No, more than hated.. She loathed it. It wasn't that there was anything wrong with it but she was a little weakling who didn't have the arm strength for it. She was starting to also really hate crowds or rather people who got in the way when she was trying to walk. Did they not see the stroller? There was really no excuse for people to do that or maybe she was just being cranky.. Who knows.
She was doubting whether or not it'd even been a good idea to come when she saw Mark... wearing a leash.. and an otter hat which was absolutely adorable but he wasn't a five year old like most of the other people wearing that hat. “Awe Mark! You look so adorable.” She was slightly jealous of his popsicle though which Ingrid must have picked up on because she stepped back into the little shop and bought another popsicle. “Oh yay! Yum.” She sucked on the top of it before handing it to Cici for a second so she could have a taste. It wasn't like she was one of those insane people who can't eat after their children in fear of germs or whatever. You spawned it! You shouldn't be afraid of catching something from your infant if you're taking care of it properly.. It wasn't like she was a puppy.

Stormy had never been to an aquarium before, and since her friends were going she jumped at the chance to go see all the sea otters and turtles and stuff. She had thought that they were a thing for little kids, but once she heard that her group of friends were going she decided why the hell not? You didn’t have to be a little kid to enjoy the fish? Right? Even though those places were usually crowded, which made it hard to not run into people and avoid those awkward encounters with people where you accidently touched them in the wrong place while trying to get around them. Yeah. She might have been a good dancer and good at twisting her body around, but she couldn’t avoid that awkward contact that happened when she was stuck in a large crowd. When she got to the Aquarium and saw her friends, she stopped before she even approached them and took a second to admire the fact that Ingrid had Mark on a child leash, and she couldn’t help but burst out into a fit of laughter when she saw that. Why Mark had let them do that she didn’t know, but that popsicle did look good. What popsicle didn’t taste good? That was the real question. “Mark you look so adorable,” She said when she finally joined Esme, Mark, Ingrid, and Leo in the gift shop. Trying not to laugh at the fact that Mark was on a leash, “You guys are so perfect,” she said. Then she noticed that Esme had Cici in a stroller and bent down to her. “She’s so cute,” she told Esme.

' You can have the Spongebob popsicle only if you pretend to be our kid.' Be our child for the day she said, it'll be fun she said. Honestly, Mark was having a good time. Well, aside from crying at the front while Ingrid was demanding for a child's ticket. That wasn't even in the deal, he would have to tell her to make a contract of what he was supposed to do. Mark used the acting skills he felt he had inherited from his father and helped Ingrid with her rather bashful lie. No matter, he had his popsicle. Now, he had to think of a way to escape. When Esme and Stormy commented on how adorable Mark looked, he didn't believe it. They were just laughing at him but instead of being a party pooper he just smiled brightly with his eyes squinted and flaunted himself around in his rather cute sea otter hat. "Why thank you. Thank you very much." he put a hand on his hip before he continued looking around. He really wanted a humongous dolphin plush because he already had almost all the animals of the sea. All gifts from friends and he swore never to buy himself a stuffed animal. He felt a little uncomfortable with the leash around his waist. Even if he was skinny, the thing fit really tight. "I... Can't... Breathe..." Yet he continued to eat his Spongebob shaped popsicle. ( www.polyvore.com/aquarium/set?id=79604660 )

Leonardo still had no clue as to why Mark had agreed to pretend to be a child. He always knew the guy had some sort of mental disability but being stupid wasn't one - it was only personality trait. He sighed when Ingrid wanted to get a free entrance. They had enough money to pay for Mark's entrance, why ask for something free? Ah yes, it was to make this realistic. Still, Mark was about six feet tall, a seventeen year old boy who probably has done everything. He was no kid, and it disrupted him slightly.
He watched as his friend tried to make himself more comfortable on his leash. Even if it was best for Mark to stay that way, Leonardo felt that it was humiliating him. "Ingrid... I think we should just let him go..." he didn't whisper this, he just said it to her. Then when Stormy said something about the popsicle he shook his head and looked to her as if to tell her not to say anything about it. Ingrid would engage her in this. She would put her on leash too.

[/img][/div] apparently, today was the day everyone was going to the aquarium. keisha was excited, because this would—hopefully—be warmer than other adventures. keisha actually hated fish, but otters and sea turtles and octopi and not fish were fun. keisha hated crowds because everyone thought they were more important than anyone else (because the fish were going to disappear if they didn’t make people move the fuck out of the way), but keisha solved this problem by yelling “feminine difficulties” and most people moved. She had no shame. it didn’t take very long for her to find her friends, because there was a “grown man” wearing a leash, who was actually mark. this didn’t surprise her, which was how she felt about him most of the time. “looking good, kid,” keisha said. he were certainly not looking anywhere close to good, but she tried to be positive anyway. “where’d you get the popsicles?” she imagined they were from ingrid, since she was holding the leash. she didn’t know there were gonna be popsicles, otherwise she would have brought some rope like the old days.

Didn't he realize that there were killer sharks and whales around every corner? What if he accidentally fell into a fish tank and drowned himself? She bought the harness for a reason! She didn't want him to be like one of those kids that you hear about on the news who get kidnapped and are never ever seen or heard from again. Okay so she was maybe possibly getting a little too involved in this whole fake child thing but at least she was having fun! "Leonardo! I can't believe that you expect me to just throw Mark into a cage full of lions basically so they can pull him apart limp by limp and suck on his skull." She got a little graphic there and actually pictured it which made her sort of sad. She didn't want Mark to die! "Keisha! Stormy! Do you two want popsicles, too? Because I can get you guys each one."
She didn't want for their answers before heading back inside and grabbing two more Spongebob popsicles which she handed to each of them. "I hope that you guys like them! I don't know if you guys would've wanted something different or not." She'd feel awful if they didn't get what they wanted! What kind of a fake mother can't even get their fake children what they want? Well... Her own real mother was sort of bad about remembering what she wanted verses what her sister had wanted so they often had to trade. She rested her head on Leonardo's shoulder and let out a small sigh, she didn't want to think about the fact that she could be failing miserably as a surrogate guardian.
Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to go off her OCD medication afterall.. "Can we go look at the penguins now? I really want to see some penguins right now!"

It was pretty early when Esme called Danny insisting that he come to the aquarium with her and Cici. Its not like it took much convincing, he loved the aquarium. But she'd called him so early... Regardless, he'd gotten up and prepared with a half hour to spare before he joined Esme and a couple other at the aquarium. He knew Mark from football and Stormy from dancing, but Ingrid, Leo and Keisha were just acquaintances. Regardless, he said hello to them, complimented Mark's hat and pinched Stormy's shoulder before turning to Esme. "Hey Sugar," he greeted in a cheery tone as he phone vibrated. Removing it from his pocket, he checked his texts. It was from Jett and read 'taking Kylie to the mall today with Andie. see you later xoxo'. Smiling, Danny pressed his phone back into his pocket and looked up at Esme again. "So where are we starting? I wanna see the dolphin show."

“When she isn’t looking let’s make a run for it,” Stormy whispered to Mark and Keisha while Ingrid was getting the popsicles. Who in their right mind would say no to a free spongebob popsicle? Those things were like her obsession as a child, although she didn’t eat them much because her mom always said she would turn into spongebob, and it kind of scared her as a child to turn into a talking underwater sponge. Her mom really just didn’t like spongebob because she thought it melted kids brains but Stormy didn’t find that out until later, which made more sense than the fact that if she ate too many she would turn into a sponge.
“Thanks!” She told Ingrid taking the popsicle from her. She almost didn’t remember the taste of it, “yum,” she sounded like a kid when she said that but she didn’t care. She wasn’t sure what she wanted to see first after all Ingrid’s suggestion of penguins sounded like a good idea, but then there was the sea otters and Danny’s suggestion of seeing the dolphins. “I vote penguins,” she said, she was mostly agreeing with Ingrid because she gave her a popsicle, and well the fact that she had mark on a leash seemed to say something about her. That scared Stormy to the point where she really didn’t want to disagree with her in fear that Ingrid might put her on a leash.
