Kye hadn't really spent much time outside of his house for the last three days or talked to anyone for that matter. It was different for him having to deal with the events that occurred because he was on the wrong side. Damien and Nolan had been pretty close friends of his and he was driving himself crazy trying to figure out why. He had been trying to piece together little clues in search of his answer and was getting absolutely no where. Frustrated, Kye picked up his phone and sent a text to the only person he thought wouldn't be at that Russel girl's party, Miss Addie Lockett.

He told her that he was coming over whether she liked it or not because he was bringing her delicious pizza. He was aware of her injury and he wanted to help her if he couldn't help himself. Pizza, drinks and a good action movie sounded like a nice gesture. Kye slipped on a pair of cargo shorts and his boots before looking for everything he needed. His tin for fun stuff, his wallet, his phone, the movies, no jacket because fuck the weather.

On his way to the dormitory, he picked up a large pepperoni pizza from Pizza Hut and a two liter of Coke. Yup, they were set. He was thankful for all the pockets because they carried everything besides the food as he walked to her room. He stopped to knock, noticing how quiet the halls were. Damn, this really took a toll on everyone.

Addie really hadn't expected for Kye to actually come over! She had been hoping for selfish reasons like that she was lonely and couldn't reach the bottle of pain medication that her doctor had prescribed to her. Yeah, she didn't think that she was actually going to need the pills but the pain was currently radiating in her leg so much that she wanted to scream. She felt like she was handling all of this relatively well though.. Her mother was going to be coming by tomorrow to take her home for a little while so she was really just trying to enjoy what time she had left in this old dorm.

It was sort of strange being here and knowing that people had died out there. There had been bodies of the dead, injured and petrified laying out there and she had been one of them. She wondered, at times, why she hadn't been shot somewhere fatal and not just her leg. It'd be easier, wouldn't it? Death would be an escape from all the burdens of life among the living. Her rather morbid thoughts were interrupted when she heard a knocking at the door. "Come on in, Kye.."

She didn't mean to but she actually sounded nervous about him coming in not because she didn't trust him but because it'd be easy for someone to knock, come in and shoot her. She might think death was an escape at times but she didn't really want to leave her family and friends to pick up the pieces. "If you can then will you throw me the pain pills from the dresser?" She was in too much pain to even care that she looked like utter crap right now. Her hair was up, she had no make up on and she was just in whatever went over her damn cast.

Kye chewed on his bottom lip as he heard Addie telling him to come in. He was kind of cautious about it, mostly because he hadn't ever really hung out with her outside of their classes except maybe once or twice. He didn't realize that she was bad enough not to be about to walk and he suddenly felt bad for knocking. "Hey, Addie." He greeted, kicking off his boots and moving them together with his feet so they were out of the way and neatly placed near the door. Kye set the cold pop down next to her bed to that he had a free hand to grab her pain killers.

Out of curiosity, he looked over the prescription and scrunched his face. "They gave you that?" He asked, "That's weak shit." Kye laughed and set the pizza box in his lap, not wanting to chance getting anything on her pink comforter. He handed her the bottle and scooted his back to the wall, touching the blinds with the back of his head. That startled him which made him jump a little and then laugh. "Do those even work? Because I'm sure I could get you something better that would actually help. Oh, and I brought pizza and movies."

Adelaide raised a brow when Kye offered her stronger pills; did he really mean that? She normally wouldn't even give it a second thought because she was actually very against drugs but this whole near death experience plus the intense pain radiating in her leg was making her a lot more willing to try anything. The prescribed pills worked to an extent but they always wore off and the pain came back stronger than before, "I mean.. These are pretty weak." She shrugged as she opened up the bottle of pain medication and popped one pill in her mouth. "I'm so glad that you brought pizza,,, I'm literally starving. I had one of my friends bring me donuts earlier but she ate every single one of them."

She didn't think much of the fact that she had a boy in her dorm when she really didn't even know him that well. She had her morals and she knew that he wasn't the kind of guy who was going to try and do something just because she was in a vulnerable position. "What movies did you bring? Nothing lame and romantic, right?" She really felt like she was the only girl in the entire world who didn't love romantic comedies. Isabel was always acting like this tough scrapper bad ass but she gushed over the Notebook like it was nobody's business.

"I mean.. If you brought those crappy romance movies then I guess that we can watch it but I'm definitely going to question your manhood."

"As bad as it sounds, I've got a lot of people." Kye giggled, opening the pizza box and moving it over so that Addie could easily reach it. "Dammit, I shoulda' brought donuts. The creme filled ones? Yeah, those are the best and I sound like such a fat ass right now." He bobbed his head, agreeing with himself on that one. Oh well, he was far from fat so there wasn't anything to feel uncomfortable about. And Addie had everything going for her so he wasn't even worried about offending her in the slightest.

"I brought, and feel free to judge me," Kye started, reaching into the satchel that he'd brought from his car. "All of the Transformers, the original Dawn of the Dead, Boy Eats Girl which is another zombie movie.. Nightmare on Elm Street.. oh, and if you're not into gore and shit, I brought Horrible Bosses and Step Brothers. I have a really wide selection in my house." He laughed, laying them all out before grabbing a slice of pizza and taking a bite. "It's all up to you, I mean. If you've got movies you want to watch, feel free. There need be no manhood questioning in this room because, and excuse me for saying this, fuck soppy romance."
