Post by Crysta Ericson on Apr 7, 2013 13:40:13 GMT -5
Full Name:
Crysta Trinity Ericson, Crysta pronounced like Crystal, but without the 'L', obviously.
Age:
Seventeen, and her birthday is the 11th of April.
Grade:
Sophomore, Crysta had to re-do her Freshman year.
Sports/Clubs:
N/A.
Appearance:
At 5"3 Crysta has always seen herself as a midget, which in a way is true, her two older brothers tower over her along with nearly every other guy she's ever hung out with. Most of the girl friends she made at school were taller than her as well, but she took pride in being the little one. As well as being small in height she's small in weight, barely weighing more that 100lbs soaking wet.
Crysta has green eyes, though they seem blue in some lights. Naturally her hair is orange, but a less artificial shade than she currently sports. The orange hair is sort of her thing, but she changes it up every now and then, dying it pink or red, but always keeping it warm colors. As for her hair style, well, it's always changing, as she's quite talented with a pair of scissors.
Crysta's wardrobe is quite an eclectic mix of pieces, ranging from peter pan collar dresses, to black skinny jeans with lace and rips in the knees. Some days Crysta will be a pretty princess, and then others she'll be dressed like pop-punk threw up and donned an orange wig.
Personality:
Cheerful.
Noticeably happy and optimistic
It's very rare that you'll see Crysta without a great big smile on her face, and it's hardly ever fake. Crysta decided to give up negativity a couple of years ago, after she went through a pretty disastrous 'emo' phase, since then she's done her best to keep positive, and spread that positivity to others. I'd just like to point out that Crysta's positivity isn't the crazy, 'Oh my gosh have a really nice day!', and, 'Oh em gee! I love your flip flops, you're totally rocking them! Wow!'. It's more like, 'You are looking fucking sexy today, I love you, you rock', and smiles all round.
Spirited.
Full of energy, enthusiasm, and determination.
Crysta tries to be spirited about everything she does in life, but some things are easier to be enthusiastic about than others. For example, she is very enthusiastic and determined about her band being a success, but she is not very enthusiastic about math homework, but then again, who is? Not only is Crysta spirited about her own shit, she's just excited about the things her friends are doing too, she's great support.
Maternal.
Having characteristics befitting a parent.
In a group of friends Crysta will usually be the one people refer to as the 'mom', because she likes to look after people. It's not that she's especially responsible, because she really isn't, but she'll look after you when you're really drunk and she's only slightly drunk. If you fall over and break your nose she'll get you a tissue to mop up the blood. Plus she loves cooking food, and what's more motherly than that?! Oh yeah, yelling, Crysta likes to tell people off, she finds it quite humorous.
Carefree
Being without anxiety or worry.
Crysta is one of those people who likes to 'live for today', but no, you will never catch her saying 'YOLO', 'cause that is just not cool. Live each day as it comes, have fun while you still have the chance, that ort of thing is what Crysta is all about.
Bossy
Given to ordering others around; domineering.
You would have thought having two older siblings would've made the chances of Crysta being a bossy boots far less likely, but it wasn't so. From the minute Crysta could talk she was giving orders. What can I say? The girl likes to be in control, and she doesn't see anything wrong with that.
Background:
There's not too much to say about Crysta's childhood, as it quite normal. Crysta was the youngest of three, her older brothers Tyler and Matt being five and seven at the time of her birth. The Ericson family lived in a sort of run down ghetto neighborhood, which Crysta's parents hated. It wasn't the best place to bring up kids. Growing up Crysta was quite the tomboy and all her best friends were boys, including her brothers and a kid that lived across the street, Rusty, and his best friend Ryan.
It was a couple months before Crysta's twelfth birthday that her parents announced the move, her dad had gotten a new job in Franklin, Tennessee. They had left it until the very last minute to tell Crysta and her brothers, something about not wanting them to freak out or anything ... Crysta didn't have chance to say goodbye to any of their friends, they just left.
So the Ericson family lived in Tennessee for the next four years or so, it wasn't bad. School was tough for Crysta though, and she never felt that she fit in too well. It was during High School that she discovered her voice, and everything sort of changed. During her childhood she'd always been quite shy, but finding that she had talent really helped her out of her shell. By the age of fifteen Crysta was performing on stage in a band with her two brothers and one of their friends, and she loved it.
In October of 2012 Crysta's parents decided to move back to New York to be with the rest of the Ericson family, and Crysta began her Sophomore year late at Somerset High School.
