Full Name;
Donovan Ian Holliday, goes by Donnie, or Don to some.
Age;
Eighteen, born on the 2nd of December.
Grade;
Senior.
Sports/Clubs;
N/A
Appearance;
You could describe Donnie as 'ruggedly handsome', but I wouldn't do that to his face, because he wouldn't take the 'ruggedly' part as a compliment. Generally speaking Donnie looks like he's just woken up after a bad nights sleep, his beard isn't nicely trimmed, and his dark hair is often mussed up, and he likes to wear a hat to keep it under wraps. Donnie's eyes are a light hazel colour and actual have the power to melt hearts, okay well, not actually, but they are pretty nice. As for his physique, well, he works out quite a bit, and stands at 5"9, which he doesn't think is bad at all.
Donnie lacks dress sense and had been dressing the same way since he was about fifteen, he really doesn't know what the fashions are so he sticks to classic pieces, such as jeans, plaid shirts, plain t-shirts and so on.
Personality;
Deep;
Difficult to penetrate or understand, of a mysterious or obscure nature.
Donnie loves keeping a mysterious air around himself at all times, it's fun for him. People don't know much about him, and he prefers it that way.
Observant;
Quick to perceive or apprehend; alert.
Donnie just picks up on a lot of things that other people don't, probably because he has a lot of time on his hands.
Charming;
To induce by using strong personal attractiveness.
When he wants to he can turn on the charm, it mostly just works on the ladies, but guys have been known to fall under his spell too.
Daring;
Willing to take or seek out risks; bold and venturesome.
Donnie has very little care for his own well being, he loves being risque. It a game of truth or dare he will never pick truth.
Moody;
Given to frequent changes of mood; temperamental.
Can be a real moody bastard when he wants to be/ It's not something that he is all the time though, that'd be dull.
Vindictive;
Disposed to seek revenge; revengeful.
I wouldn't get on his bad side if I were you.
Capable;
Having ability, especially in many different fields; competent.
People tend to see Donnie as a hopeless case, he doesn't get good grades, so he can't do anything. People are wrong. Donnie can do most things he sets his mind to, he just doesn't set his mind to a lot. People are usually shocked by his rage of knowledge.
Background;
Donnie was born in Chicago to a woman named Lydia. At the time of Donnie's birth Lydia was pretty much certain she knew who his father was, but where he was ... Well that was another question entirely. At the time of Donnie's birth Lydia Weber had no family in Chicago, she had no job, and she barely had a home. They place she was renting was a hovel, no place to raise a child. For awhile it looked like she would have to give Donnie up for adoption, that was until Frank came in to the picture. Francis Bartholomew Holliday, an angel in a plaid shirt and flared jeans.
It was Christmas Eve when Frank stumbled upon Lydia, huddled on the front steps of an apartment building, clutching her three week old son to her chest, trying to shield him from the cold. Frank insisted that Lydia come with him, he promised her food, warm clothes, a bed to sleep in ... And that's exactly what he provided.
There was nothing shady about Frank, he was genuine article, a real life hero. That evening he took Lydia back to his hotel that he was staying at, as he was away from home visiting his sister. They talked long in to the night as Donnie slept soundly on the bed, bundled up in blankets.
When Frank left for New York five days later Lydia and Donnie joined him. Lydia and Frank fell for each other, head over heels in love.
So Donnie grew up in the suburbs of NYC, a quaint house with a white picket fence and a paper boy on a red bike. Things went great. As he grew up he learnt that Frank wasn't his father, but he couldn't care less, any man that took as good of care of Donnie as his mother a Frank did was a father in Donnie's eyes.
Everything was going so well until October 4th 2009. Lydia was diagnosed with Cancer. Donnie was fourteen, and he was crushed, as any child would be. For while it looked like Lydia would pull through, but then on May 17th 2010, Lydia passed away in her sleep.
Donnie wasn't the same after that, he became rebellious, he wanted nothing to do with Frank now that his mother was gone. In some way he even blamed Frank, though it was in no was logical. Every time they'd get in an argument it would end with Donnie screaming; You're not my real dad!, and running off to him room, slamming the door behind him.
At the age of fifteen Donnie started drinking. At the age of sixteen Donnie was arrested for getting in a fist fight outside a bar. At the age of eighteen Donnie moved out of Frank's house and never looked back.
Other;
- Has a tattoo of a ketchup bottle on his leg.
- Donnie has Diabetes type one, which means he's insulin dependent.After every meal he has to check his blood sugar and if it's too high he has to inject himself with insulin. Since he's had it since he was twelve doing the blood tests are no big deal to him anymore. Due to the diabetes he's been advised to stop smoking, but he hasn't yet.
- Allergic to sea food.
