Have you ever seen the movie Knocked Up? You know where the pair ends up having a one night stand turned pregnancy? That was how Blair was conceived only her parents never ended up falling in love or even attempting a relationship. Adrienne was head over heels with this guy named Liam Fabray and Mario was still in an on again/off again relationship with his longtime girlfriend, Erika so they decided that it would be in the best interest for everyone involved for them to just raise the baby as friends. Liam was actually very keen to the idea of assisting in the upbringing of a child that was not his and Erika had always wanted to have children so it really worked out for everyone. Blair grew up with two mothers and two fathers.. two Christmases, two birthdays, four supportive parents sitting in the front of every cheer practice or debate that she was in because they loved her through all of her failures and all of her successes.
Erika and Mario have since gotten married and added a beautiful little girl named Marla to their family and her mother married Liam. She's also expecting another half-sister for her daughter to love and things couldn't be better for Blair aside from the fact that she has to keep her sexuality a secret from her disapproving family. Her mother believes that homosexuality is a choice not for any real reason like religion.. She just finds the idea of a woman or a man kissing someone of the same sex to be disgusting and she's been very open about that hence why her daughter is very much in the closet around her.
