Charlie had posted on Facebook, Twitter and the Somerset High chat board that tonight was a party night. It was her birthday, she felt she should be able to have a party! So what if it was probably going to go past ten o'clock, which is when visitors are supposed to go back to their dorms? She just wouldn't get caught, hopefully. She didn't really have a lot of friends at her new high school, but she was going to make some, damnit. She dressed in a pair of jeans and a red tank top with two shirts layered over top. Sure, it wasn't extremely sexy or over the top gorgeous, but it was comfortable and she wanted to look decent, not slutty.

The dorm was decorated with a Happy Birthday sign she had made from herself, which was a bit pitiful. It was on a large piece of purple paper, hanging over her bed. She dimmed the lights and turned on her paper lanterns, which were hung all over the room. She didn't have a lot of stuff, so it was pretty spacious. Ten minutes before guests were supposed to arrive, she opened the door and propped it open with a stack of books so that no one would have to knock. There were drinks set out on her desk (anything you want) and snacks in large bowls (chips, cookies, pretzels, you name it) next to the two boxes of pizza.
She didn't say it was a birthday party. In fact, it wasnt - this was going to be a game kind of party. She was hoping for truth or dare, never have I ever, that stuff. The birthday sign was just decoration and... Well, conversation starter. Charlie is a social person, she likes having things to talk about, ok?

3.bp.blogspot.com/-NwmV3mpXUL0/T5h8aHmzK_I/AAAAAAAAA40/T7fQjmSyH7o/s1600/IMG_90128.jpgEli wasn’t exactly best friend with this Charlie girl, but it had popped up on his facebook that she was having a party, so why not go make some friends? What was wrong with that? Eli went to parties every once and a while when a good friend was there, or just because he wanted to make new friends. Even if he was more likely to just sit in the background then to actually contribute anything to the party. Instead of sitting around all day in his P.J’s he decided to actually contribute to society and go. If not for anything just to wish the girl a happy birthday. So after a quick smoke, and changing out of his pajamas and into a suitable outfit—That wasn’t Batman Pajamas—He put on a grey Foo Fighters T shirt, and a pair of dark jeans and some black boots, to complete the outfit. Ran his fingers through his messy brain hair, and looked at the outfit in the mirror and decided it was missing something, a black sweater. After that he took a swig of mouth wash because his breath probably smelled like smoke, or something. He knew that smoking wasn’t good for him but he did it anyway. For added precaution he sprayed on a little Axe and then walked down the Charlie’s dorm. Eli noticed that he was the first person there, so he knocked on the door with his knuckle even though he knew it as wide open before he walked in. Looking around the room, “This is the party right?” He asked with a grin. Then he noticed how pretty it looked in the dim light, and when his eyes fell onto the birthday sign, he thought of something to say, finally instead of just standing there like an idiot. “Happy birthday,” he said with a grin. He felt awkward being the first one there, so he took a seat and then pretended to be texting someone.

When Charlie's birthday party popped up on Jaime's newsfeed on Facebook, he looked on it then decided that he'd go. It was basically an open invitation and he thought that he could go out and be social for a while. Although party's weren't exactly his thing, it was a birthday party and if you asked him, he'd really like a bunch of people to show up. Whether he knew them or not. It was always nice to meet new people, anyways.
He put on a blue button down shirt, black straight fitted jeans and some white sneakers to go along with his look. Jaime didn't like to over dress and he was sure that people weren't going to dress up anyways. He didn't want to dress up and then see people that weren't. That was just too awkward.
When he arrived at the party, he looked around. Well there were two people and then there was the birthday girl. "Happy Birthday!" he said to Charlie. "You don't know me but my name is Jaime." he said with a bright grin. Wow, this was slightly awkward but he didn't want to look awkward.
Jaime just acted like it was a regular thing, popping up to birthday's of people he hardly knew. Yup, totally regular of him.

It had been a while since Stormy had been to a party, most of them she wasn’t invited to. She didn’t really know a lot of people here, so she didn’t get invited to many, unless they were open to everyone, but it still wouldn’t be fun to go if you didn’t know people, or if it was just a bunch of couples making out because that was no fun for a single person. She ran a brush through her hair, she thought about straightening it, but pushed the idea out of her head because of laziness. She decided to go with a pair of grey jeans and a tee shirt, over that she wore blue plaid jacket, and to complete the outfit a pair of vans. It took her a second to find this girl Charlie’s dorm, but after turning down a wrong hallway she made her way to the dorm, still a little early, but that was how she rolled. She could tell this was where the party was because of the lights, and looking inside she saw the happy birthday sign. Oh shit it was her birthday. Stormy wondered if she should have gotten her a card or something. “Happy birthday,” she exclaimed hugging Charlie, even though she didn’t know her well. She let go of her and poured herself a cup of soda, and looked around the empty room, “So where’s all the people,” she asked looking around. There was only two other people there, one a boy who looked bored already with his party, Charlie, and was that Jaime, and she didn't really want to talk to him at the moment. Awkward.

(what she's wearing .... 25.media.tumblr.com/2942260cf968c8964f646ca95486c3b8/tumblr_mjewf5EAar1rb9bvho1_250.jpg ) Estelle was always up for a good party, and this chick posted stuff about it all over, so, why not? There would be games and free food. Who didn't like free food? Besides, Estelle needed a break. A real break. She just felt like letting loose and being herself and reconnecting to her youth -- she felt so much older at the studio working with all the little girls, having to take a step up and be responsible for other people, even for just a few hours a day. It was difficult. Gene did help take some of the stress off, but she needed this. A party, surrounded by other teenagers... she wasn't going to do anything wrong, just hang out with some friends, nothing to worry about! Besides, she had a sense of self control, not like she'd go crazy. On her way there, she spotted Gabe and picked up the pace to start walking with him, smiling at the guy, "You heard about this Charlie chick's party, too?" Gabe nodded, shrugging and cocking his head to the side, "Yeah, it's something to do, so," he chuckled, stuffing his hands into his pockets as they got closer towards the dorm. Once they got to the doorway, Gabe stepped to the side to allow Estelle to walk in first, then followed her inside. Estelle smiled over at the girl who was in there, recognizing her picture from facebook, "Charlie, right? I'm Estelle." she introduced herself. Gabe sort of just stood next to her and nodded, "Gabe."

{ static.wetpaint.me/tslotat/ROOT/photos/franciayears3-38552320.jpg } To be perfectly honest, Blair didn't even know this Charlie girl but she had heard from a couple of different people that she was having a party tonight and she didn't see the harm in at least going for a couple of minutes and seeing if it was worth staying at. Maybe she would even enjoy herself! She just needed to go into this party with no expectations and then she wouldn't be disappointed if it sucked or was it suppose to be the other way around? She had never really paid much attention when people told her the right way to walk into new situations well this wasn't exactly new... She had been to many parties in her day but never hosted by someone that she didn't quite know. How was she suppose to explain why she 'looked like a whore' but didn't put out like one? Or even drink and do drugs! She wasn't nearly as bad of a girl as she looked but people often didn't understand that and said harsh things when she attempted to explain herself especially guys who believed her Facebook over her own words and thought that she was a perfectly straight girl. Whatever. She couldn't just stand there in the hallway like this because she looked kind of like a creepy stalker so she stepped into the dorm and let out a small sigh at the lack of people here. It wasn't like it was completely empty but she was hoping that there would be at least twenty people here by now. "Hey..." She greeted despite the fact that she wasn't really talking to anyone in particular. Did she even know anyone here? People looked kind of familiar but she didn't recognize anyone. She spotted the 'happy birthday' sign and raised a brow, this was a birthday party? She thought that it was just a regular old party!

Charlie was excited when the guests started trickling in. She said hello to the first boy, even though she had no clue who he was, and watched for a moment after he sat down and began texting. She wanted to talk to him, but didnt know what to say - and then another boy showed up, and she felt outnumbered. Smiling, she said hello and a thank you for the birthday wish. "Nice to meet you, Jaime," she said, seconds before Stormy burst in with a hug. Awkwardly, Charlie hugged back, giggling a little, already high off of the adrenaline. "Hey, welcome, make yourself at home," she greeted. "Hopefully more people will show up," she shrugged and grabbed a hand full of chips, then sat on the edge of her bed. She said hello to Estelle and Gabe with a grand sweeping gesture of one hand. "Yeah, I'm Charlie, make yourself at home," When a girl walked in wearing next to no clothes, Charlie looked at the ground with a blush. She didn't know this girl, but she made her heart flutter a little. She also made her feel intimidated and way over dressed. But what was wrong with bring modest? "Hey," she called in response to the girl with a little wave of her hand. Dalton walked into the party, cool as a cucumber. He knew Charlie from his old neighborhood. She would often visit there with her birth mother, back before that lady went bat shit crazy. He waved, gave her a nod and said, "Happy birthday, little sis," with all of the affection he could muster. Dalton liked Charlie, she really was like a little sister to him. She could be very cool and adorably cute when she wants to be. "What's up..?" He asked slowly, observing the crowd. He had arrived exactly on time, strolling in with a bottle of old fashioned root beer in his hand and a small gift box in the other. He handed it to Charlie, a pretty little char, bracelet that cost him next to nothing. She said thank you an put it on as he sat down, sipping at his soda with a dirk upon his lips. 3.bp.blogspot.com/-5BbKNk-lEac/Tfz11arP-_I/AAAAAAAAAAw/0EKPzz_bmbI/s1600/bbu.jpg

While rather, idly, standing by the food table looking at the whole scene as more people gathered, Jaime was beginning to feel awkward. He didn't quite exactly knew anyone there. He'd just seen these people around school but he didn't talk to them.
When he spotted Stormy, he almost ran out of the room. Things had become awkward between them after they had made out at a party and honestly, he didn't know why. He just felt like if he were a turtle, he would have already stuck his head inside of his shell by now. Still, they were friends and they were going to have to speak to each other sooner or later.
So why not break the ice now?
"Hey Stormy." he greeted with a soft smile after approaching her. Jaime bit down on his lip before looking around, "Um, how have you been?" he offered her a rather cheesy grin considering yes, this was very awkward. He felt his heart racing slightly but he was one to panic.

Stormy almost choked on her soda when Jaime started talking to her. What was she supposed to say? For a moment she almost regretted coming to the party, but she decided she was just going to have to man up and talk to him. “Oh Hey Jaime,” She said, taking a sip of her drink. “Oh I’ve been fine,” up until you started talking to me and made everything super-duper awkward. She wanted to add, but didn’t. She didn’t want to be mean to him, she just wanted things to not be awkward, and how could you even get over the fact that you made out with someone in a closet, even though it was just a game, it was still a little weird. She tried to put it out of her mind, “Long time no see, eh.” She said with a small laugh, she didn’t know why she said that considering that the reason they didn’t talk much was partially her fault.
