Full Name: Sonnie Terri McFarlin, she was named after Sonny Terry, even though she doesn't tell people that because no one knows who he is.
Age: February 3ed, 1996.
Gender: Female
Grade: Freshmen (She failed a grade)
Sports/Clubs: Photography and Film.
Appearance: Sonnie is actually quite tall, standing five nine, and skinny only weighing one hundred and twenty one pounds she is a stick to tell the truth. She has a fast metabolism, and not much muscle on her body since she doesn't work out much, she might not have the figure of some girls because she is scrawny, and tall. She is naturally blonde, and her hair is naturally wavy, usually her bangs hang down over her forehead.
Sonnie has blue eyes, and she often wears makeup, a little eyeliner and mascara, some lipstick to make her lips pop against her pale face, since she figures they are her best feature. Behind those lips is a set of perfectly white teeth, she had braces all through middle school to get them that straight. She has freckles all over her face, and arms. Her style tends to be girly, wearing cute dresses, and floral print blouses, unless she is staying in for the day then it doesn't matter. She doesn't like wearing heels though, because it makes her insecure.
Personality: Sonnie is an old soul in many ways, her music tastes, and a majority of her personality make her seem like an old person at times, she also has a tomboy part of her, and a nerdy part. While all these parts of her mix together well, she is often insecure about her personality, and tries to impress people a little too much. She's also a little naïeve, thinking that most people have good in them, no matter what anyone says about them. She doesn't like to judge people by what people say about them. If she hasn't met you she doesn't know anything about you, and the way you act, she likes to say. She is extremely friendly, and a bit of a ditz, at times.
Despite her appearance as a girly girl, by the way she dresses, she has days where she just wants to kick back, and play video games, not get out of bed, and eat Cheetos that are who knows how old, and drink orange juice from the carton. She can be a tomboy, and she is most of the time, she also loves video games, it seems weird that a girl who likes classic love stories, and Jazz music could spend a day playing call of duty, and kicking ass, but she doesn't have anything else to do.
Sonnie is into the whole graphics industry and hopes to work in it someday. She also likes comics, and knows everything there is to know about superman, because of her dad. She is a little dizy, when it comes to things like remembering her homework though, and keeping secrets though. So don't tell her a secret because she has a big mouth, and she'll probably tell someone.
She is a bit of a hopeless romantic, and believes that every guy is good, no matter what people say, if someone tells her that the guy she likes is a man whore, she'll try to change them. She's super sweet, and if you hurt her she'll cry for a few days, but eventually get over it. Just because you hurt her doesn't make you a horrible person she'll blame herself, instead of blaming you. She likes to laugh, and if you can make her laugh she'll probably keep you around. She also reads a lot of books, mostly romance stuff, but some classics gone with the wind is one of her favorites and a good idea for her is to spend a rainy day curled up in bed with a book.
Background: Her mother wasn't the best person to raise a child. She wasn't right in the head, some would say. After Sonnie was born, her mother snuck out of the hospital and was never heard from again, leaving an unnamed baby behind. So the hospital did their best to find the father, and eventually tracked him down. Henry McFarlin, he owned a comic book shop on the corner of a small town in a small town in North Carolina. He named his child after the first person he could think of and that person just happened to be the old musician Sonny Terry. Changing the spelling to make it more unique was the idea of his sister.
Henry had three older boys at this point, by another woman who had died in labor, during the birth of his youngest son, and the he raised Sonnie along with them. She grew up loving comic books, and video games, but her aunt Lisa who lived with them, thought she should be a girly girl, and from a young age she entered Sonnie in pageants, where Sonnie learned how to dress and how to act girly, those tendencies reflect in her these days but not so much the mental ones.
When she was twelve years old though, her father got into a car accident, and ended up in a coma he never woke up from. Her aunt took custody of all three of the children, and for a while Sonnie was depressed, her father was like a friend to her, and she spent all day curled up in bed reading. She didn't go to school, and failed a grade because she missed too many days of school to make it up.
After a while though, she reemerged form the sleep she seemed to be in, and started going to school again, she tried to forget about him, and even now four years later it still hurts when she thinks about him. She doesn't think about him, and doesn't talk about him It's the one secret she really doesn't tell anyone.
For her freshmen year her aunt decided to send her to Somerset because she thought she needed a change of environment. Her brothers are all in college so they are never home these days and she spends a lot of time to herself when she's at home. She likes Somerset so far, and is trying her best to make friends here, and be happy. She isn't quite used to the big city environment.
