Full Name: Diego Isaias Davenport
Age: 18, born July 28
Gender: Male
Grade: 12
Sports/Clubs: Baseball
Appearance:
The first thing you may notice about Diego is that his hair is really, really black and not just black, but matte black. The color lacks the natural shine that normal hair has and almost seems unreal. Well, that's because it isn't. Diego experimented on his hair one summer and though the result was not the color he'd intended, he grew to love it anyway and has kept it ever since.
His eyes are dark brown, unlike his parents, which he hates because he swears that sometimes you couldn't tell the difference between his iris and his pupil. (And yes, it's possible due to dominant traits and such). Not quite as tall as his father, Diego stands at five feet, eleven inches and weighs approximately 165 lbs.
On a day to day basis, he has a bit of stubble because he was either in a rush or just too lazy to put in the time and effort for a closer shave. As mentioned, his black hair is kept nice and short. His complexion is tan and gets even darker when he's out and about under the sun.
Also unlike his father, Diego prefers to "suit up" 80% of the time. The other 20% of the time, he dresses casual. but still manages to look presentable. In other words, he will never look like he just rolled out of bed. On top of that, he is, after all, an athlete and must dress accordingly for practice and games.
Personality:
He is often rather loud, maybe even borderline obnoxious when he's having a good time. Diego tries to make friends with everyone, but understands that there are just some people who want to be left alone. Even so, he's the kind of guy who tries to coax people out of their comfort zone and try new things (good and legal things, of course).
Diego loves to go out. Home, when it isn't family time, is just too boring for him. Whether it be catching the new movie, trying new restaurant, or even just taking a stroll around the neighborhood, he has to be out. All in all, he's a bit rowdy, but what can you do? Boys will be boys.
Background:
Diego is the second child of Trevor and Madisyn Davenport, the first being Coraline and the last being Wesley. Some students of Somerset may know him as "Mr. D's son." Born and raised in the big apple, Diego is oblivious to life as his parents and older sister knew it in Augusta, Maine.
He went to public school just like his father did, up until Mr. Davenport got a job at Somerset and while most kids would hate to go to school where their parents teach, Diego really likes it. From the time he was a freshman until he received his driver's license, he depended on his father for rides to and from school, and also to and from baseball practice and games.
Growing up, Diego had a pretty average Joe-Schmoe life. He went to school; made good grades; and didn't party, smoke, or drink while his other classmates did. That doesn't mean that he's never tried them before, though. He fell in love with sports, particularly baseball, at an early age because of his father, who was quite the athlete in his day.
His love life isn't all that interesting, either. Diego met a girl his first year at Somerset and fell head over heels for her. At the time, it seemed that she did, too. However, even after their 2+ years together, she left him for an older man in college who came from a wealthy family. Diego was heartbroken at how shallow she turned out to be and well, let's just say he's still picking up the pieces of his shattered heart.
