Nate nodded in agreement when Sophie suggested what he should text Eli the next time he brought it up. He still felt bad about this whole situation, but he'd been starting to not really care and was trying his best to just enjoy the fact that he was with a friend right now. That's all it was. Having coffee with a friend. He shouldn't feel bad about that and Eli shouldn't care about that, right? Exactly.
Nate took another sip of the coffee and looked to Sophie as she joked about their friendship. "Oh so this was a test, I see," he said with a smile before setting the cup down. It was a bit too hot. "So," he shifted around to where he was laying on his stomach like she was. "I'm claiming the job of making you feel better. Cuz, as Eli's identical twin, I think its only right that ONE of us makes you smile," he said with a slight smile as he flicked his head to one side, moving the bangs out of his eyes.
