Bo was sitting on a couch, his legs stretched out in front of him underneath the table that was also in front of him. Across from the table was another couch where the ever so beautiful Carol Maree sat. Bo had had his eyes on her for about a year or so now.. but alas, she was taken, leaving poor Bo to forever be an awkwardly lanky single giant. They were playing cards. Or at least, they had planned to. But after losing a game of Go-Fish to Carol, Bo had given up and started making card houses. He sucked at them, but it kept him entertained as he tried to balance the ends of two cards up against each other. He'd managed to make quite a spiffy little card fortress when the door to the lounge swung open, sending a gust of wind its way. Then there was the heart breaking sound of cards collapsing and fluttering down to the table. Frustrated, Bo leaned back against the couch and crossed his arms. However, they were soon uncrossed as he reached a lengthy arm forward to grab the can of Mountain Dew that had been riding dangerously close to the edge of the table. "Wish it wasn't raining," he muttered after taking a sip and setting the can back down; he leaned forward to rest his elbows on his knees. "We could be.. like.. outside doing.. an activity.." He wasn't quite sure what he was saying as his gaze was focused on a window splattered with raindrops. Turning his eyes back to Carol, his heart dropped a bit. God was she pretty. He found himself smiling at her before he could look away again. ( www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=65596427 )

[[ 25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mdelsiy8sl1rouw42o1_1280.jpg ]] Carol followed Bo's gaze to the window. She'd always appreciated the rain, though she never minded a good beach day. It was still kind of warm in the lounge, she guessed they hadn't bother to turn the AC on all summer, so it was only now cooling down. Classes didn't start for another week, and kids were still arriving, leaving the school in a constant frazzled state. Parents were on every single hallway, freshmen were crying, and seniors were trying to force their mommy's and daddy's out the door. She sighed and picked up the cards that were scattered on the table, shuffling them a bit. "Wanna play another game? We could do rummy or...war...or something?" This was such a dull day. She'd never really talked to Bo very much the previous year. They sat at the same lunch table and had mutual friends, but she didn't consider them close. He was just nice, and when they ran into each other in the lounge, she had no reason to refuse hanging out with him. Wyatt was off...doing something else. Probably with Kegan or Max or something. They'd stayed at Kegan and Thalia's place over the weekend, so they didn't want to suffocate each other. Space was good. Without space, they'd get too much of each other, and probably break up again. Lord knows she wasn't ready to lose Wyatt. Again. Giving up, she stacked the cards neatly in front of her and looked at him. "Are you hungry? We could order Chinese or something. Panda Express doesn't charge for delivery since they're right down the road." Why she was explaining that to him, she didn't know. Of course he was aware of that, he was a senior. She was just trying to make small talk and failing miserably. I suck. I'm sorry.

Bo snorted at her request to play another game. "You'll just whoop my ass again," he sneared, though smiling. As she set the cards back on the table, Bo reached across the table to grab them. He was going to attempt another card house but decided against it and picked up the soda can instead. His eyes widened after taking a sip, hearing the words 'Chinese' and 'food'. "Ooh great idea!" He said, setting the can down. "I love Asian cuisine," he added, rubbing his hands together. "You wanna call or should I?"
