Winning the tournament was super important to Samuel. Call him competitive but when it came to dancing, you could call him whatever you pleased and he wouldn't quit. He liked being light on his feet and the sound of beat that moved his body like a puppeteer controlled a puppet. He was in dark grey sweatpants, a bright blue t-shirt and his Nike hi-tops.
Samuel turned on the boom box and played a catchy beat. He chose "Go Hard Or Go Home" by E-40 which was one could say a semi-old school beat but it had only come out in the 2000's.
Once the beat started to play, Samuel began practicing his dancing. He moved left and right, light on his feet and extremely agile. Sam did a quick 2-step before making an attempt to do a suicide but when he flipped he landed on his back. He laid there for a second before getting up and going for a second attempt.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
Stormy was supposed to come by and practice with him so meanwhile he waited he got ahead and did some of his own practice.

She wasn’t late, so she thought so anyway, but Sam was already there when she showed up. She wasn’t the most competitive person in the world, actually she didn’t really care what happened in a competition, sure winning would be nice, but it didn’t mean if you were horrible if you didn’t win. Well, not to say that you were great either if you were in last place. She really thought that if you were good you didn’t need anyone to tell you that, but she knew Sam was really into the competition, and they seemed to be good friends.
Well she had to practice anyway; it was just something she did pretty much all the time. Practice makes perfect is what her mom always said, so when she showed up to the theatre, and Sam was already there, she wasn’t surprised.
“Hey!” She said, her outfit was a pair of grey sweat pants and a black tank top. She didn’t look great, but there was no one here to look great for, and besides that this was just her general wardrobe. Nike high tops completed the look, and her hair was hanging down over her shoulders as usual. “What’s up?” She asked her friend, not sure where to start.

Samuel looked to the entrance once he heard the sound of another there. He smiled softly before standing still and resting. "Nothing much, just getting in some practice while waiting for you." he said, pausing the music so he wouldn't have to talk over it. He then looked to her, "Let's start at the beginning, shall we?" Samuel's British accent was thick and it almost made him sound older than he was. Although he actually didn't look past sixteen.
He re-played the song before standing in a straight position. Once the music began playing he looked to Stormy and said, "So we begin with the 2-step and then we jump left and right. I'm trying to do a suicide but I end up falling on my back..." he laughed. "Can you do one?" he asked her.
Sam was sure that Stormy was a much better dancer than him. Just because he was competitive it didn't mean he was arrogant. He just wanted to win but not by cheating or anything. That was not good sportsmanship.

The beginning of what he said sounded good, it was simple, She laughed when he mentioned doing suicides. “You’re funny,” she said, that was one of the moves she had yet to learn how to do well, “I can’t,” she shook her head, the last time she had tried to do a suicide it hadn’t come out well, “But let’s see what you got, I mean maybe I can help somehow,” she ran her fingers back through her hair. “Or we can just skip that part for now it’s up to you,” She really didn’t think asking her for help was such a good idea since she was pretty sure he was better than her.
“But if you ever get it you can teach me,” she said adding a laugh. Stormy would never miss out on an opportunity to learn a new move

Samuel smiled brightly and nodded, well, he didn't feel that bad for not knowing but still, it was a personal goal, he supposed. He then continued dancing, "I mean, I can't really land on my back with my toes forward..." he smiled while he spoke and moved, "I just fall flat on my back." Samuel got wing, "Watch..." he did a front flip. He somewhat flew up in the air but he fell on his knees.
"Aw shit." Sam cursed while his hands landed palm to the floor so he was on all fours. "Alright, so this time I failed and landed on my knees." he looked up at Stormy. Honestly, Samuel felt like a Magikarp doing the move splash — ineffective. "I always landed on my back but you watching probably made me nervous. You can do a front flip, right?" he asked her, getting up and dusting his hands off .

She laughed when he mentioned the fact that she made him nervous. “I make you nervous?” She asked, exaggerating the I in her question. She didn’t know why she found that funny. “Oh yeah,” she answered his question about the front flip. That was something simple. She started out sprinting a little, and then jumped into the air tucking her legs in, and then landing on her feet with her knees bent.
“I bet most of the cheerleaders can’t do that,” she said with a grin, pulling her hair back out of her face again running a hand through the curly mess of strawberry blonde hair. Front flips weren’t hard for her, it had took a lot of work to learn how to do them though.

Samuel laughed slightly, "You sound surprised." he stood on his toes while his arms moved behind his back. He didn't get why but alright. He then looked to her and watched her do her front flip.
"I bet they can't. Especially not that quick." he shook his head. He smiled before raising an eyebrow then leaned to the side. He reached his palm to the ground and spun twice around before doing a handstand and jumping back before landing on his feet. "You want to try dancing in unison?" he thought they could manipulate each others minds and actually do the same thing at the same time.
"It will help us for the competition. We can definitely win this." Samuel said with a side smile as he looked to her.
