"I didn't mean.... I'm not... I don't want a second baby. I just... I just want you to move in and I don't know how to because I'm scared that you're going to say no." Esme didn't know how to correct the little mishap. She didn't want to have another baby! She honestly didn't know if she ever wanted more children especially not in high school! "It's just.... I'm scared, Jon and I need your help. I need you to be here all the time to help me and maybe... maybe help with rent or bills because I'm struggling more than I look."
She cleared her throat before moving to wrap her arms around his neck in a warm embrace. "Please.... please stay here with me and make everything okay again." She sniffled and muzzled her face into his neck. He smelled nice... comforting. "Please don't be angry." She had a lot on her plate! Rent, household bills (cable, phone, diapers, food), daycare... it felt like everything was piling up.

Getting up from where he had been sitting, Jon approached Esme, placing his hands on her sides, "I'm not angry with you," he let out a breath of relief, knowing now that she didn't really want another baby, and laughed a little when she told him what she really wanted. Holding her close now as he let her snuggle into him, he rubbed her back, comfortingly, then let out a sigh.
"I'd love to move in, Es," he insisted, shrugging it off like it was no big deal, "why didn't you just say you needed help?" Jon asked, "I'm always here, I won't be leaving you, not any time soon or at all."

"Thanks Jon...." Esme murmured into his ear before moving to give him a tender kiss on his lips. "Do you want to .... celebrate the fact that we're moving in together?" She had a leg wrapped around his waist and she was grinding her crotch against his. She had forgotten all about the baby in the playpen beside the couch until Cici let out a cough and she was reminded that they had a young daughter getting her first cold hence why they had only gotten to have sex twice today. "Um... maybe later and I didn't tell you because I didn't want you thinking I was weak."
She moved away to stir the cheese sauce and shrugged, "I thought that maybe you would be upset with me because I need your help when you already give me four hundred for child support but that's ... daycare and I'm scared because I miss a lot when I work but I know it's the right thing but so is class. I know to graduate high school but all I want sometimes is to come home and play peekaboo with my baby." She wiped her eyes before moving to lift their poor daughter up. "I feel like I'm missing everything and I hate it."

Jon nodded in understanding; being a teenage parent wasn't as easy as they made it out to be or they'd like to believe. Even with the amount of help they got, what with everything Esme was explaining... it was really hard. Though they tried, Jon barely remembered the last time he was able to actually hang out with someone other than his little family. He loved Esme and Cici both, incredibly so, and he wouldn't trade his family for anything, but being seventeen and having this much responsibility, having to work so hard in order to take care of them, that was definitely stressful, especially with it being his last year there. He almost couldn't imagine what Esme was going through, being with their daughter full-time.
Reaching a hand over to take Cici's hand in his and wrapping one arm around Esme, he let out a sigh, "Admitting that, to me, is a very strong thing to do," he reassured, "you're not weak, Esme. You're one of the strongest people I know," he smiled, "I'll help you as much as you need me too."

Strong? Esme certainly didn't feel very strong after admitting that but Jonathan had never lied to her before so why would he start now? "You must not know very many strong people then....." She was obviously just teasing him about that. "You're perfect." Simple. What else could she really add? The gist of it would always be that he was perfect at least for her. She had dated a lot of different guys in the past and she had believed that she had a future with all of them but now.... she could see why it had never worked out with anyone else and she thanked God everyday that she didn't get what she thought that she deserved.
"I think I might try and get a second job to help out more with the bills... like a night job! I mean, I wouldn't want to miss anymore of her growing up and I would only be gone when she was sleeping anyway." But she wanted to do that on top of her other full time job and school? She was beginning to stretch herself way too thin.

Jonathan was working today but Esme was not so she found herself doing small things around the house to keep herself occupied like dusting the ceiling fan and organizing her and Jonathan's closet by color... Yeah, it was that bad. Cici kept herself entertained with her toys and napping so what was a young mother to do? Well.. Post about her stolen hat (which she'd worn all day) and then head out to get some lunch seemed acceptable after she finished washing the glass door leading inside from the small backyard. Unicorn and Riley both even had baths! Desperate boredom did things to her.... She once again found herself sitting on the couch with nothing to do only now she had a cheeseburger and fries to enjoy.. Dr. Phil was on and it was about a woman who had apparently raped her boyfriend but she'd seen this one a thousand times so it didn't hold her attention. Cici was in the playpen napping so she couldn't even entertain herself with her daughter. What time was it? She glanced at the clock on her phone and let out an exasperated sigh, it was like four hours at least before Jonathan would get off of work and be home to entertain her! Why did he have to always work so damn hard? Didn't Foot Locker understand that he had a wife at home who needed someone constantly entertaining her? She was tempted to wake her daughter up but she knew she'd regret it if she did.. Why did she and Jon have to stop at one baby?!?

( www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=68083746 ) Danny had been sitting in his car across the street from Esme's house for about a half hour debating whether or not he should get out. He had some very important things to discuss with her.. and he really wanted to, too. But half of him.. well, half of him didn't. Right brain was telling Danny to just let it all out because she would understand more than anybody. Left brain was still telling Danny it wasn't true, it wasn't real. After about five minute of smashing his forehead against the steering wheel, Danny got out of the car and locked it behind him. He tugged at the straps of his backpack for a moment, questioning both why he'd brought it in the first place and why, since he'd brought it, hadn't he packed it with food. But he kicked himself for stalling and turned to face Esme's house. Wow such a cute house.. it sure looked nice from right where he was standing too.. Nope. Nope, stop Danny.Within seconds, Danny found himself knocking on the door. His head was down and his bangs were hanging in his face. He had a hat on which could've held them back, but his hands were too busy squeezing the fuck out of his backpack straps to readjust. "How am I even gonna bring this up.." he sighed to himself, kicking at the ground.

The knocking at the door excited Esme for obvious reasons but she didn't let herself get too hopeful that it was actually going to be someone of any actual interest to her as her annoying neighbor often came by to 'borrow' a cup of sugar or milk. How does one even return a used cup of milk or sugar? She honestly didn't want it back after it'd been tampered with but none the less, it was the polite thing to do. Luckily for her (and her pantry), it was Danny not her neighbor so she scooted out of the way to allow him access to the inside of the townhouse which she was pretty sure he'd never seen all of. She felt oddly guilty that she hadn't thought to pick him up anything but she hadn't even known he was coming. "Hey Danny-Dear, what brings you over here?" It wasn't that she didn't want him here but he didn't exactly seem to be in the best of spirits.
Had something bad happened? Did someone near him die? Was he suicidal again? She tried not to panic and instead decided that it was her goal to make him smile one way or another and maybe test the waters on asking if he was suffering from depression. "Look I have a cheeseburger." She held it up to show him, "It's really yummy... I've only taken a bite.. Don't you wish you had a cheeseburger this delicious?" She smiled before motioning him into the living room and heading to the kitchen to cut her burger in half.
She handed the obviously bite free half to him without even asking if he was hungry. "You're too thin! You need to eat more." She had kind of forgotten that she was wearing his hat still.. His stolen hat, eh, her's now. She honestly had no plans of giving it back unless he forced it off of her head and ran with it because she loved it. "You should eat and get comfortable then I can show you around if you want or we can just talk! Or I can make you something to eat!" She glanced over to Cici who was still fast asleep and shrugged, what else was she going to do besides be an excellent albeit overbearing host?
He should just be glad that she hadn't inspected his arms for cuts.

Danny slipped past Esme and smiled as he took a look around. It was even super cute on the inside! Noting Cici, he made a little kissy face before turning back to Es who was practically shoving her burger down his throat. And then when she cut it and handed him half.. he damn near died. "Ohhh i love you," he said before taking a bite and heading to the couch where she'd told him to get comfortable. He was smiling and bouncing a bit, but stopped when he remembered why he'd come.
"I uh.." he lowered the burger and swallowed, "Actually Es, yea.. can we talk?" Well that sounded like a horrible way to start this conversation. As much as it felt like something bad, this really wasn't a bad topic. He felt shy and scared to talk about it.. but truthfully, he was kind of happy. Maybe. "Its nothing bad, I swear. Like, don't freak," he started over, smiling a bit as thoughts of what she was probably thinking about passed through his mind.
It took a minute before he spoke again. He'd decided to 'get comfortable' about six times, moving his body all over the couch. Then he'd asked her to come sit by him. Then he'd moved again. Then he'd decided he would finish his half of the burger. But as much as he'd been stalling, Danny finally took a deep breath and looked her in the eyes.
"So.. there's this guy..."

Esme's worries only grew as he asked if they could talk and she was already preparing her 'life is worth it' speech when he, thankfully, said that it wasn't anything bad but she was still concerned when he took so long to get himself comfortable. Why was he stalling like this? She was trying not to think the worst because she knew that he likely didn't want to die if it wasn't something bad... Unless... Maybe he had come to her to talk because it was something that only she had experience with like pregnancy. Now, it was obvious that he wasn't pregnant but maybe he had gotten someone that way? She didn't think that he had a girlfriend but maybe.. Maybe he did or it was a one night stand or like with her and Jonathan where they were just kind of friends when it happened.
Teenage boys have needs....
But then he mentioned a guy and she was honestly confused. She was a relatively smart girl but she couldn't understand what he was hinting at. "A guy? Danny, I'm married.. I don't want to meet any guys." She nodded slowly before reaching for a fry. Why was he telling her about some guy? Had he forgotten that she was totally committed? It was even in the burn blog! She didn't want to seem mean but she wasn't interested in any guys except for Jonathan. Was that maybe a hint? Was he trying to tell her that there was a guy who liked her? Or who liked Jonathan? "I mean... I know that I cheated before in the past on other people but I am happily married and Jon keeps me satisfied in every single way... Besides, don't play matchmaker for me! You need someone who makes you happy."
She reached her hand over and gently rubbed his shoulder not in the sexual or romantic way, of course, similar to how a mother would try to sooth her child. She wasn't called 'Mama Es' for nothing! Mothering just came naturally to her even before she became one herself.
