He couldn't believe the nerve of this kid! Fucking Chase. That idiot.. was he stupid or something? Had he forgotten about the threat Dallas had made four years ago when he found out about the shit he was doing to Esme? The balls he had to come around her again was just unnerving. Dallas had been walking all over campus looking for Chase while on the phone with Esme. That probably wasn't the smartest idea, but she called him. When he finally did find that stupid asshole, he was in the first place he should have looked.. the fucking quad. Without saying a word, Dallas picked up his pace a step and was coming in from Chase's side. He wanted to badly to just knock his lights out right then, but he decided it would be best to have some fun with it. In an instant, Dallas put all of his weight and sent it shooting through his arms. With the hardest shove he could muster, Dallas knocked Chase right on his ass and stood there waiting to see his shocked expression. "Heard you were back in town... Chase." He hissed. As he got back to his feet, Dallas gave him another vicious shove directly to his chest. "Guess I wasn't fucking clear enough for ya, huh?" Truth was, Dallas wanted to get hit. He wanted to feel the adrenaline rush that he got when he was doing something dangerous. Chase was big enough that he would be able to fight back and do damage, but Dallas wasn't one to give up.

Chase hadn't actually came back into town to cause any drama, hell, he even wanted to try and make amends with Esme but then he found out that she was happily married with one child and a beautiful townhouse... Well his anger once again boiled over. He didn't want children, of course, considering that he was only eighteen and a senior in high school but he would have liked to have met someone and fallen in love for God's sake. He had been sent to an all boy's boarding school after Esme had pressed charges. The judge told him that he could either go to the special school or face the charges going on his permanent record and he was only fourteen so that was a really long time to carry that around with him. It would literally ruin the rest of his life! Didn't she see that when she pressed charges? How could someone be so cruel? He understood breaking up because his anger had reached a level that he knew he couldn't control anymore. He only saw red when he got into his rages and unfortunately, she was usually the one at his side faithfully like a little puppy. She just wanted to save him from himself yet all he did was literally beat her down. He knew better than to hurt her now yet he had again today. He was really just trying to talk to her about the past and properly apologize but she'd started freaking out and crying about how she couldn't handle this right now and he just needed her to be quiet!
She was causing a scene for crying out loud so he grabbed her wrist and squeezed until she stopped crying and sobs turned to muffled whimpers in her other hand. He knew how cruel that it was but he needed her to listen to him, was that so terrible?
She wasn't the terrible person in the relationship but he also knew that she wasn't the angel that she was behaving as now. Hell, he even forgot about Dallas's little threats but apparently Dallas hadn't. He was not expecting for someone to come and try to start a fight but if Dallas wanted one then he was definitely going to get one. He took a blind swing at his face but he wasn't sure if he even hit him. He was almost in a state of shock; he was expecting this from Jonathan when he saw the bruise on his wife's wrist but not from Dallas Kennedy. Hadn't they dated and broken up after he left? Yeah.. He gave her that infinity ring which was now in his pocket ready to be sold at the pawn shop. He could get at least a hundred bucks for this! Sure it was engraved but it was from Tiffany's and the engraving was on the inner part of the ring that nobody would see anyway so maybe it'd go unnoticed. It wasn't like she needed it anymore! She had Jonathan Russel and he hadn't taken anything that he gave her... Hell, he'd probably even thank him for getting rid of that damn ring.
Wasn't it a form of adultery to keep something like that from a past relationship? "What the fuck, Kennedy?" He snapped as he took a step back to look at the other man, "What the hell is your problem? Did the little bitch come to you and whine? Jesus fucking Christ... What'd she do? Just shove her wrist in your face? It was a fucking accident."

Dallas had the slightest smirk on his face as Chase took the time to look and see who had just shoved him out of the blue. "Good, you remember me." He nodded cockily. He wasn't really sure what he was talking about when he said something about Esme's wrist. He was sure he was just talking out his ass so he just brushed it off. There was a view by standards that had gathered and were watching now. Dallas didn't care, but he would rather them not be there.
"I don't know what you're talkin' about. But listen here, feller, did you forget what I told you?" Dallas took a step closer to him. "Did you think I was fucking around when I told you not to come 'round her?" He could feel the muscles in his arm tensing up and getting ready to deliver a hard hit. "I told you I'd fuck you up." He smiled before taking two more steps to close the distance. He drew his arm back and let it swing. His first blow was delivered to Chase's jaw. The second came from his left hand and connected with his stomach.
The few people standing around them had grown and were enjoying the excitement. For a moment, Dallas thought about how hard his dad had beat him when he was little, and over the fact that he was trying to protect his mom. Dallas delivered another firm hit to Chase, this one connecting in the same spot on his jaw. He locked into him, wrapping his arm around his neck and his free hand grabbing his shirt as he yanked the two of them to the ground.
His ribs landed a top of a small rock but that alone felt like he had been shot. It was a wrong move because it stunned him enough to hold off on Chase which could give him the advantage of climbing on his and returning a few hits. He couldn't let that happen, he had to have the upper hand! Dallas groaned as he tried to push himself from the ground.

Chase was not expecting this to turn into what it was but he was never the type to step away from a fight! He couldn't look like a weak little pussy when he was barely starting at this school... Why in the hell did he have to follow his dad's advice when he said to stop carrying pocketknives around with him? It was probably for the best legally but he wished that he had one now not to kill Dallas or even leave him severely hurt but it would definitely create a dangerous reputation for himself. He managed to get a couple of blows in before he felt someone gently pulling him away from the other man. He considered pushing whoever it was away onto their ass without even checking who it was but he just had this gut feeling that it wasn't a good idea.
He glanced behind him and paused when he noticed that it was none other than little red Reynolds.. Russel, fuck, why did he keep forgetting that? "Es...." He backed away from Dallas almost immediately like a puppy which was odd because he was the absolute opposite of a puppy. He only stopped because she had her baby in her arms and he knew that there was another one inside of her uterus at all times. Sure he had told her that he wanted her to lose the baby but... What kind of a person means that? He bit down on his bottom lip and watched as Esme reached to help Dallas up and kept his eyes on the ground. His nose was throbbing and bleeding; he was ninety-nine percent sure that Dallas had broken it but he didn't want to complain about it in the presence of other people and risk looking like a pathetic loser.
He saw Esme looking like she was about to drop something - either the young child in her arms or the coffee in her hand and he knew from experience it's usually the important thing that you drop so he reached around to help her and hold her daughter.... He was honestly surprised that she let him hold her baby but he assumed it had something to do with the fact that she was currently hissing cuss words at both of them with a furry. He had never seen her like this before!
"How could you two be so immature? Dallas, you have a fucking baby on the way! And Chase.. You're here to have a fresh start and I swear to God if you I see you two going at it again then I am never talking to either of you again." She forgot about the bruise growing on her arm as she talked and used hand gestures to get her point across which was only drawing more attention to it. "Look, Dallas, I'm a big girl and I can take care of myself.. Okay? I know that you're use to having to protect me but I don't need to be protected anymore and you have a baby to think about. What if you got hurt? What if you got arrested? You could miss out on seeing that baby grow up."
She looked back over to Chase and grabbed her nine month old daughter back, "Thanks for.. holding her." She sounded quite sarcastic and he clenched his fists which made her, by instinct, flinch and move behind Dallas to hide. Maybe.. she wasn't as okay as she said that she was and she really did need him to protect her.

Dallas was kind of hoping for him to fight back, no.. he was expecting it. His first hit had connected with his bottom lip and his second good hit was on his cheekbone. Dallas had gotten in a nice punch directly to Chase's nose which made a crunching sound and almost immediately start spurting blood. It had smeared onto his knuckles as he continued fighting back and during some point of their brawl, it got on Dally's light grey shirt.
It seemed as if Chase was pulling back to stand up which allowed Dallas to get in one or two body shots before he saw a familiar little red head and little blonde baby in her arms standing behind Chase. Dallas immediately knocked everything off. He wasn't eve to his feet by the time that Esme was yelled and scolding the two. "I-" He was cut off. It kind of made him upset that she broke it apart, her, of all people.
Dallas looked down at his feet when Esme brought up the possibility of getting seriously hurt or arrested and missing everything in his baby's life because of a stupid act. It was stupid, now that he was thinking back on it but at least he had gotten his point across to to fuck with him or Esme, or anyone that either of them were closely associated with. Then she was taking Cici back into her arms which he couldn't believe that she let him hold her in the first place.
He noticed the darkened bruise on her wrist and knew what chase was talking about. His anger was building up again just as quickly as Esme was jumping behind him. Cici was young enough that she wouldn't remember what he was about to do next. His own fist tightened so tightly that his knuckles turned white and ached. He drew his arm for one last hit, which came from below and popped on Chase's jaw. To add insult to injury, Dallas spit blood at the ground next to Chase.
He turned to Esme as he wiped the blood from his own face. His knuckles were bruised and bloody. The metallic bloody taste filled his mouth and his cheek and eye were starting to throb. Dallas flicked his chin as if asking Esme to follow him, even though he knew how pissed off she was and the fact that she would probably slap the shit out of him if she really wanted to. "I'm sorry, Es.." He muttered.

Esme was shocked when Dallas punched Chase that last time; what in the world was he thinking? Didn't he realize that each hit was just going to make this whole situation worse for everyone involved? She was just about to really let him have it when she noticed his knuckles were bloody and she didn't know if it was his blood or Chase's and his face looked well not good... He looked better than Chase but that wasn't really saying a whole hell of a lot considering what he looked like.. It looked like his nose was broken at the very least. "Chase, go see a doctor, okay? And put some ice on those bruises." She smiled weakly, she knew how that worked, and followed after Dallas to make sure that he was alright.
"Dallas... You're hurt.." She paused and took a long look at his face; poor guy. What in the world had been going through his head to make him think that was a good idea? Well she knew exactly what he had been thinking and that was why there was a ball growing inside of her stomach because she was full of guilt. What if Kat found out about this? What if Kat believed that she was just as much at fault for this as Dallas? She knew how much that Dallas had wanted to take a swing at him when she was with him. How was she suppose to know that it would escalate so quickly? She thought that she would have a little bit of time where he didn't do something dumb.
"You should really go see a doctor and make sure that you didn't seriously hurt yourself!" She didn't think that he really had but she didn't want to take that risk especially not when he had a child on the way with Kat of all people! She seemed like she could easily rip her head off even if she was pregnant... Yeah.. It was definitely terrifying. "Why'd you do it?" She paused and glanced back in Chase's direction, "Hit him, I mean... Why would you want to risk everything so much? You could end up getting suspended from school for this kind of shit, Kennedy." She knew that he was only protecting her but at what cost? How much was he willing to risk to keep her safe?
(Short fail.. If you don't reply by the time I feel better than I'll edit but if you do then.. well that's that and I'll reply <3)

Dallas watched as Chase was turning to walk away. He started to storm off in the opposite direction even without Esme. His temper was still flaming hot and he knew that it wouldn't be good for him to be around her or Cici like that. But soon enough, Esme had caught up to him and started in on the little interrogation. It was obvious he was hurt, but in some weird way, he liked the feeling.
"I don't have insurance." He hissed as he spat out more blood that was seeping in from his busted lip. He kept wiping it onto his shirt and hated feeling the stinging in his knuckles from the dirt and blood mix. Dallas huffed and stopped walking so that he could face her. "I wasn't thinking about all of that at the time. I know, I get it, the whole thing was stupid and dangerous. I know, I'm a fu-...." He paused momentarily and looked at the baby in her arms. "I'm an idiot, I'm stupid." He had raised his voice in frustration.
For a moment, his mind flashed back to when he and Esme we together and how they would scream and fight in the wee hours of the morning. "You want to know why I did it?" Dallas asked as he stepped closer to her, "I did it because I had to, Es. Someone has to stand up for you and clearly Jon's too much of a dillweed to do anything. It's always been like that. I'm always the one who stands up to pricks for the people I love. It's funny how I'm always the one getting hurt though. Yeah," He let out a breathy laugh, "Yeah, it's real funny."
He wasn't even sure what he meant by that, or if it had even made sense but all of his pent up feelings had just been shoved in Esme's face by him yelling at her. Everything that had recently happened when his dad called was a big part of why he was so angry and frustrated. Chase didn't even deserve being hit like that, maybe cursed at and shoved, but not beaten to shit. "I have to go." He huffed as he stormed off towards his car, leaving Esme where she stood.
