( distilleryimage7.s3.amazonaws.com/a8a4b9ac538d11e2a58222000a1fb810_7.jpg ) Michael was always happy to see Justine -- he'd always gotten along well with his female friends, and Justine just happened to be one of the few that he's kept the longest, and he liked that fact. He didn't think he'd know many people at Somerset (well, besides his brother and all his friends), so having her familiar face around always kept him at ease. He sat on a bench near the front of the bowling place, messing around with different apps on his phone, waiting for Justine, glancing up at the door every few seconds.

( data.whicdn.com/images/40427494/1193542-9-1350575735513_large.jpg ) Justine had Thalia drive her since she still didn't have her permit yet. When Thalia dropped her off she rolled down her window. "No sex"Thalia warned her before pulling away. Justine couldn't help but giggle. Michael was her best friend, and even though she'd never admit it. She did have a small crush on him. But they've been friends for so long, if something was going to happen it would have. Which is why when she started at Somer she started fresh. Keeping an open eye at every guy she saw. Which is how she met Declan which to her had been going pretty good so far. Justine walked closer to the building and spotted Michael. While he was still looking at his phone, she ran up sitting on his lap, wrapping her arms around him tackling him in huge hug. "Hi bestfriend"she smiled at him before unwrapping herself from being around him. She looked down realizing she was sitting on him and turned red. She stood up and looked down at him. "You ready to get your butt kicked at bowling? Because you're about to play the queen of bowling... "she said with a grin. "Try not to cry when you lose, because you will be losing to a girl"she teased sticking her tongue out at him. They've probably played every game there is against each other. And since that happens, she wanted to make this more fun. "How about we make a bet! If I win, you have to go skinny dipping in the school pool in the middle of the day right at the same time the swim team practices!" She said raising her eye brow hoping he was up for a little competition.

Michael nearly dropped his phone but caught it on the bench just in time as Justine hug-tackled him, laughing and grinning as he saw his friend, wrapping his arms around her in a hug until she pulled away, "Excuse me, but if butts in here are going to get kicked," he cocked his head to the side and adjusted his beanie, "it will be yours," he winked, then raised his eyebrows at her stakes.
"Skinny dipping?" he asked, sitting up straighter now, interested. That was definitely a huge risk -- showing off the mini-Russel inside his pants to the entire swim team in the water? Not exactly something he really wanted to do. Were there even cute girls on the swim team? He adjusted the collar on his jean vest, "Oho, it's on," he smiled, slyly, "but if I win, you have to wear your underwear outside your clothes for an entire day," he crossed his arms, standing up now, picking his phone up and sliding it into his pocket as he did so, then holding out his hand for Justine to shake, "Deal?"

Justine laughed and crossed her arms over her chest as she listened to her part of the best. She gave a dry laugh before shaking his hand. "My side of the bet is wimpy. Anyone can do that, but hey. I'd rather wear my underwear out of my pants instead of showing all the guys and girls on the swim team my junk"she said. She removed her hand from his and started to walk inside the building. She held the door open behind her for him before going inside.
Once they were both inside she looked at him as they walked to the booth. "You're paying right?"she said trying to sound as serious as possible, Of course she wasn't going to let him pay for her to play. But she did want to just mess with him about paying. After giving a small laugh to show she was only joking around. She asked the man upfront for a size six in bowling shoes, and two pre-ordered games of bowling for them. After she got her shos she walked over to her lane and started putting them on as she waited for Michael to buy his and come over. Looking up at him, she gave a quick smirk. "Alright, so I win. You go skinny dipping... Sounds like a fair enough deal"she said grabbing her little pink bowling ball off the rack, before starting to type their names into the machine so it can go onto the screen. "So, what's the deal with you and Sonnie?"she asked raising a eye brow as she continued to type.

"Well, hey," Michael shrugged with a grin, "they'll be getting a show of the Russel monster if I lose," he brushed off some imaginary lint off of his jacket, "it's not a total loss." He laughed, then almost protested against Justine paying for herself. After all, it was common courtesy for a guy to pay... you know, even if this wasn't really a date. They were just best friends, right? But before he could get any words out, she had paid for herself already, and he was left asking for his size tens, paying for himself then following Justine inside.
As he was changing into his shoes, he looked at Justine, curious when she asked about Sonnie, "Um, she's my best friend," he laughed, sheepishly, scrunching his eyebrows for a second, "Well, my other best friend... why?" he cocked his head to the side, finishing the knot on his second shoe and setting his foot on the ground, "You jealous?"

"I ... Uh... Umm.."Justine's face turned bright red and she removed her eyes from him as she typed the last letter of her name into the machine for the game. Her face suddenly felt as if it was getting steaming hot, and she could tell she was deeply blushing. "No"she muttered barely loud enough for him to here her before standing up. She felt completely embarrassed for stuttering when he called her out on being jealous. They were best friends. So what if he wanted to be in a relationship like that with anyone, she had no say against it. Plus, Michael Russel would never like her. Even if she did like him. So there was nothing to worry about. She felt butterflies in her stomach as she stood up and looked down at him as he finished tying his shoes. "And so what if I was jealous! What's the big deal?"she asked putting her hands on her hips as she glared at him trying to act tough.
She stopped and turned around grabbing her pink bowling ball of the rack, before walking to the lane and beginning to start their bowling match. She knew he could probably tell she had a crush on him. But she was with Declan. It's not like she could just go up to Michael and give him a huge crush and confess her feelings for him. Although they have been best friends for years. He has seen her around guys she liked before, and she was pretty sure and he could put two and two together and figure out that she had the hugest crush on him ever.

Michael chuckled and sat back on the red stool set up by the machine, re-adjusting the gray beanie he wore on his head, shrugging, "I'm just messing with you, Teeny," (you know, 'cause, "Justine") Michael shook his head, reaching a hand over to poke the girl's side and flashing her a smile. He loved joking around with her, it was honestly cute how bashful he got and it always brightened his day to see how he could make her smile, even for a second. For the years he'd known her, Justine always had a way of brightening his day, no matter how bad.
He raised an eyebrow at her, "Psh, you know you'll always be my number one best friend," he nodded at her, standing up again, nudging her lightly in the arm with his elbow, "no need to get jelly, I would never replace you." Michael assured, and he meant that. Though he did admittedly feel the same way whenever he saw Justine with another guy, especially now, seeing her prancing around with Declan. It made his skin crawl, though he figured he shouldn't say anything. He scratched the back of his head and looked down, pursing his lips and squinting his eyes in thought before turning back to her, "You ready to get your ass beat?" he asked, with a smile.

Justine jumped a couple inches as she felt his finger touch her side. Her body got goose bumps.by his touch and she couldn't help but blush even more. She looked back at him and gave a small smile before tossing her ball down the lane. It rolled most of the way and knocked down six pins in the process. Grabbing her ball again, she threw down again knocking down the rest of them. Turning around she had a smirk on her face and crossed her arms over her chest. "Who's kicking who's ass?"she raised a eye brow with a small giggle. Sitting down in her chair by the table she grabbed the menu for the food place that was inside and started to look at food. "You don't stand a chance against me. And I'm sure the whole swim team wants to see the mini Russel"she smirked.
Justine continued to look at everything on her menu before looking up at him. "I don't want her taking my place. You only have room for one girl in your life and that's me Michael"she said with a glare. She didn't particularly like Sonnie to be honest. She secretly loathed her. She was so pretty compared to Justine and she had bigger boobs and a bigger butt. All the things guys want in a girl and Justine barely had any of that. All Justine had was her personality. And that was nothing compared to Sonnie's looks and personality. And she had a tiny feeling Michael liked Sonnie better than her. She bit her bottom lip and was hesitant to asking. But then it just spilled out. "Do you like her?"she asked biting her bottom lip.

"Psh, even if they did -- it'd just be putting on a show -- who doesn't want to see mini Russel?" Michael laughed, jokingly, picking up his ball, and taking a swing, grinning at first when he thought that he'd gotten a strike, throwing a punch in the air and yelling, "YES!" but then frowning once he realized he'd gotten a 7-10 split, seeing the two pins on either side set up, "...shit." Michael turned to Justine and laughed, sheepishly, scratching the back of his head and shrugging, "I can totally do this, pfft," the sarcasm in his voice was evident, though he didn't want to make it seem as though he felt shot down by the situation at hand, grabbing his ball again and carefully tossing it, biting anxiously on his lip as he watched it roll down aisle, then falling back in his stool when it only knocked over one of the pins.
He raised an eyebrow when Justine started talking about Sonnie again, smiling at first when he thought she was just joking out of jealousy about her taking her place, then his expression softening when he realized she was being serious, then shrugged when she'd asked if he liked her, "What's not to like?" he chuckled, shaking his head, then leaning forward towards her, "Hey, Sonnie could never replace you. You've been my best friend for ever, nothing's going to change that," he reassured, "you know you're my number one."
