Lema pretty much lived for any place that had coffee, and since McDonalds was closer to school then Starbucks was, well that and it was cheaper, and the coffee was almost as good, if you pretended a little, and because free wifi. She was just sitting at a table in the back, sucking on the coffee, and pretending to like it while she worked on a report, that was supposed to be due a few days ago.
She hadn’t done it because she didn’t feel like it, but she’d made up a lie about having family issues, and the teacher was like “That sounds like a personal problem,” god she hated when teacher did that. She was almost done with the coffee, when she looked down at the cup to discover there was a bug floating at the bottom of her cup. “Ok ew,” She said, getting up from the table. The girl at the counter seemed like a cool person and for a second she almost wanted to ignore it, but why not get a free coffee out of the deal?
“Hey,” She said to the girl at the counter, “Can I get another coffee, mine has a bug in it, and it’s kind of grossing me out,” She said with a grin on her face.

“How else would it have gotten there?” She asked, teasing the girl at the counter a bit? “Maybe an random time traveler came back in time just to put a bug in cup and we didn’t see them?” She shrugged, “I’m just messin’ with you tho, I don’t really care, ” and she wasn’t really one to file a complaint about stupid things like that anyway, “I did kind of wonder why it was so empty in here, though,” She gestured to the lack of people in the restaurant, and shrugged. “Well that’s one question answered.”

“Oh really, well maybe I should come back?” She looked at her wrist as if she was wearing a watch when in fact she wasn’t. Her entire outfit consisted of a pair of skinny jeans a random band t-shirt, and a pair of black boots, “I could come back tomorrow ‘round this time, you think there’d be more people here?” She asked. She was only talking to the girl because she was bored, and she seemed like a cool person, and Lema had to admit she wasn’t bad looking at all. "Not like I have anything better to do then sit at a crappy McDonalds, I mean free wifi though, that kind of makes it almost worth it." She said with a shrug,
“So… Sally,” She read the name on the name tag.” When exactly is the best time to come here?” She asked with a smirk on her face.

“I don’t mean to interrupt,” Lema wasn’t sure what to do when they started arguing, so she put on her best sweet girl smile, and looked up at the boss, “It was kind of my fault anyway, maybe I should just get out of here,” she figured it was worth a try, trying to save this girl’s job even though she seemed to want to quit, and she wasn’t doing anything to stop her.
“I’m sorry but Sally seems like a nice person, and there isn’t anyone here so…” She let her voice trail off, trying to act like a sweet little girl, trapped in the middle of this fight. She shrugged, maybe she shouldn’t have gotten into it, but she had a habit of getting into people’s business.

Lema tried not to care th she had just caused Sally to quit her job. Honestly she didn't care it was just a stupid McDonalds job. She was kind of suprised when she decided to quit actually. She laughed when they were done storming out. "You er... Didn't need that job did you?" She asked as she high fived her new friend. "Haha, that was awesome," she agreed, her lips turning up into a smile.
She couldn't help but laugh at this Sally girl, she was clearly a cool person. "God how do you work at that place?" She asked. "That manager seemed like a biotch."

"Lema," she shrugged, "It's like leamer.... Without the er," she said, which was what she told most people. "My real mom was strange, she had a friend that lived on a street, and thought it was a good name for her pet or something, but she got a baby instead," she laughed, she always told this story to people whe she met them. It sounded dumb, but other wise people made fun of her name. "It's a weird name, but my real mom is a freak." For the most part Lema was an open book. You could ask her anything and she would tell you the truth.
"I hope you find another job, Sally," she let out a small laugh. "One that doesn't have a bitch manager."
