Fifth period was normally Ryn's free period, and that was when she went to go see Beth. The best thing about teaching at a school with a bunch of...misguided young woman, was that there was an on-campus daycare. She got to see her baby girl whenever she wanted to, which made the day so much easier. Seeing Lydia was also a bonus, but her daughter was trying to break free from her. People tended to lump them because they were so much alike. She'd often heard the nickname "baby Ryn" going around, and that bothered her child. She was trying to find her own place in high school, so Ryn understood her being a bit apprehensive when it came to spending time with her mom at school.
Mr. Montifusco was the normal study hall person, but his son got sick so he had to go pick him up from school. And seeing as Ryn had nothing else to do, she didn't mind filling in. It was only for one period and her replacement will be here when it's time for her next class. Besides, she knew almost all of these kids. There was Thalia Manson with the ne'er-do-well boyfriend and precious son, Genevieve Morgan who was scarily organized, Wyatt Parks with the great Perelli performance last year, Carol Maree her little star, even though she wasn't going to be in this show due to her condition. Her understudy proposed the idea of dedicating the musical to Carol, and the rest of the cast thought it was a wonderful idea! Well...except for the boy she'd cast as Orin Scrivello, but Cooper was such a nice boy. She was sure he was just...method acting. Some of the nasty things he said...yes, yes. Method acting.
She stood behind the librarian's desk talking with the ladies up there as her students filtered in. There were only a few students she didn't know, and the ones she did she absolutely adored. So...maybe this wouldn't be so bad. When the bell rang, she stepped out and stood in front of there most of the students had gathered. "Hey guys, Mr. Montifusco had an emergency, so I guess I'll be hanging out with you today," she smiled at them and stood there for a moment. "Well...I guess you all can...do whatever? I'm not sure what normally happens in study hall. I used to sleep everyday." That got a few awkward laughed, and then she went back to the other ladies to leave the students to their work.

"You know what's weird about a wheelchair?" Carol said to Wyatt as he wheeled her into the library. "Your butt doesn't go numb like you'd think. It's actually super comfortable." She'd been in her chair since leaving the hospital, and she was having to get used to people constantly doing things for her. You don't think about how annoying it is to have people constantly offering to do things for you, when you can just do them yourself. It's like one second you're an independent person, and the next you're some kind of baby. People constantly want to take care of you. It...strange. But once you get past the awk factor, it's humbling. When people push you around, it's like they're your legs. They're helping you walk. Sure, you can do it yourself, but someone is actually making the effort to help you move. And you see the best in people when you're disabled like that. There are some who don't care, but then there are others who genuinely want to help you out. She'd only been in this chair for a few days, but she didn't think it was going to be possible to get used to people being so lovely. She was wheeled into the spot someone had cleared for her at a table, and folded her hands on the table. She liked when other people were sitting because she no longer had to stare at everyone's crotches and asses. It was nice that Ryn was in here, but she didn't have the urge to go talk to her. It just reminded her that she was no longer apart of the play, and the chances of her being in next semester's play were slim as well. "You know something, baby?" Carol said to Wyatt as he sat down with her. "I think we're the cutest darn nerd couple ever...of course, we're the cutest anything so," she smiled at him and then leaned over to give him a kiss.

He chucked, when she mentioned that her but didn't go numb from being in a wheel chair, he'd been there and done that before, but he didn't say that. Instead he concentrated on pushing the wheel chair to study hall. Today they had decided to be superman nerds, and while Wyatt wasn't all that into spirit week, he figures since he had ben nominated as homecoming king.-What exactly was the point of that anyway?- He had to participate, that and Carol was making him. If he was going to be a nerd, he was at least gonna do it right.
His outfit consisted of a white button up shirt, which had been buttoned at the beginning of the day, but now he just looked kind of lazy because he had the sleeves rolled up, and it was unbuttoned showing off the super man shirt underneath., and there was the glasses, even though they were fake, they were too big for his nose and the kept falling off his nose all the time. He wondered how people wore those all the time. They were so annoying.
"I think so." He said, "I mean, You're the cutest girl I've ever met," He exaggerated the word you're making it stand out from the rest of the words in his sentence his voice sounded fake a lovey although he still hated all that lovey dovey stuff. But what boy didn't? He was pretty sure she could hear the tone in his voice that pretty much said he didn't want to have this conversation. Not in front of a bunch of people anyway.

(Thalia's wearing what the girl in the middle is! 25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mda6c84P9b1rsistio1_500.jpg ) Thalia walked in soon after Carol and Wyatt had. As she got closer the saw Carol lean over and kids Wyatt. She put her hands over her eyes guarding them from the view. "Ew. Guys. Come on, get a room. I have virgin eyes that don't need to see those kind of things!"she said before moving her hands from her eyes and laughing. She sat down in the chair in the other side of Carol and looked at her. "How's your leg feelin' cripple?"she asked teasing her . Kegan wasn't in her study hall period, so sadly she was stuck without him. But, to her luck. She had all of her good friends. Carol, Esme, Jon, Max, Wyat, ect. So, even though her man wasn't here, she still had everyone else.
Thalia watched as everyone approached the library and came inside taking their seats. She tried not to gag when she saw Sierra come in. Bitch was going to get it this class period. She was going to try her best and annoying the living shit out of that girl. Thalia pulled a pack of paper she brought with her out of her Hot Pink Jansport backpack, and took the wrapping off of it. As she pulled papers out of it, she out them into balls and placed them in the middle of the table. Thalia turned to Carol after making about eight of those paper balls. She lowered her voice and out her hand by her mouth to keep the other kids from hearing what she was going to say. "Did Kegan tell you Sierra actually called Child Protection Services on us?"she asked raising a eyebrow. "We're on a thirty day evaluation making sure Kegan and I don't fight, neglect, or hurt Cole"she said rolling her eyes and shaking her head at how stupid it. Was move her hand from away from her mouth and went back to the paper as she waited for a reply from Carol.

Sierra hated study hall. It had no actual purpose, and most days, she just skipped it. But, it was spirit week and she figured she had to show off her costume. Who knew, there could be a cute boy in her class who just happened to admire here Nerd Day outfit (but really, what boy wouldn't?) Stopping outside the door to the classroom, she straightened her skirt, which was barely short enough to cover a fourth of her thighs - just the way she liked it. Her vest was all she wore on top, and kept it buttoned to the middle, as to be just revealing enough. She figured it was Nerd Day, so she'd go for the position as "Preppy but Sexy." Flipping her hair over her shoulder and breathing in deeply, she grinned and waltzed into study hall with her head held high - chest out, nose in the air, and the perfect walking pace that made her look like she was strutting it. Typical Sierra Briden fashion, of course - even though she felt horrible about what people were calling her (slut, whore, you name it) she wasn't going to stop what she was good at. So she liked guys and she liked hooking up with them - what's the deal?
Heading over to her desk, she spied only one guy in the class so far. Shaggy hair, Arabian-looking kid - the Prince Aladin of Somerset, was what she called him in her mind. Wheeling around baggage, of course. The broken-girl was definitely his Princess Jasmine, she could tell. How cute - not like Sierra really cared for that kind of thing. She was just a little annoyed that the only guy in class was taken. How unfortunate.
Speaking of unfortunate, she stopped cold when she saw Thalia Manson. Her heart beat a little faster and her palms started to sweat. Uh-oh, here comes insults from baby-abuser-bitch. She wasn't happy with what she had said and done to Thalia, but that girl was a stuck-up, prissy little bitch who didn't even deserve a baby. "What's up, chickie-boo, how's the baby?" Sierra sneered, resorting to her old ways as she took the seat in front of Thalia, to see if it made her angry. She was just waiting for kitty to unsheath those claws.

Rosalie was having a bad day - scratch that, a bad week. Even though she and Derek had been going to Somerset for two and a half weeks now, she had no clue where most of her classes were. Derek seemed to be getting along with everyone and gaining friends. All his teachers loved him, there were girls fawning over him, and everyone seemed to think he was just so amazing. Rosalie, on the other hand, had no one. As she wandered the halls, feeling abandoned and lost, all she could do was think, Is it because I'm fat? Because I'm not pretty enough? Am I doing everything wrong?
Walking into class, she was barely paying attention to where she was going. In her mind, she was going over her brother's words in the morning - he had jokingly said her dress was terribly atrocious. She knew he was joking but she still wondered... maybe it was. Did she make a terrible decision? Did she even look like a nerd? She wanted to be in the school spirit like everyone else! Stumbling, she looked up as her hip rammed into a desk, jarring a mean-eyed red-headed girl. Widening her eyes, Rosalie backed up and hit into another desk, cheeks glowing red. "Sorry, I'm sorry!" She squeaked.
"God, you're so clumsy. Where'd you learn to walk?" the girl, Sierra, snapped. Normally, Rosalie was more graceful than an angel - she had taken a lot of gymnastics and dance classes that helped her balance - but today she felt off. Flushing bright red, she just shook her head and was about to walk away when the girl scoffed. "Nice shoes." She sneered, "They match the ugly dress. It's Nerd day, not Trash Day."
Biting her lip, Rosalie willed the tears to go away - she wouldn't let them see her cry. Rushing to a desk, she sat down and felt defeated, her face crumpling for just a second before she choked back her sadness. Speaking to no one in particular, she announced, "Yeah, you're one to talk about trash." The girl turned around, narrowed her eyes, and said nothing more. Even though Rosalie considered them even now, she felt terrible, and again she fought to blink back tears. Was her outfit really that bad?

Carol couldn't help but laugh at Wyatt. He was so bad at being affectionate. He was more of a physical person. Not in a bad way. Touch was just his love language, and that was what he responded to the best. At least that was how she always read him. "You're so lame, but I love you," she went in to kiss him again, and that's when Thalia came up.
At first she was a little aggitated that she came just a few seconds to early, by as soon as she explained what that nasty Sierra Briden had done... This girl was really awful! How could she do something like that! She'd even had the nerve to argue with Brielle, and now she was trying to get Cole taken away? She gasped, "Shut up, are you serious? What is wrong wit--"
Speak of the devil.
Did this girl really have the audacity to sit down and address Thalia like that? And mention Cole? Oh, if Carol wasn't in the wheelchair, she would jump across the table and rip her hair out.
"Um... are you lost? The jealous hormonal bitch section is over there," She pointed to a nearby trash car and smiled OhSoSweetly at her. Just as quickly as it spread across her face, she dropped the smile and sneered at Sierra. "Seriously. Are fucking retarded? You're lucky I can't walk or your busted ass would be on the floor right now." She knew Wyatt didn't approve of her fighting, but since she couldn't physically move right now anyway, he wasn't going to stop her from mouthing off. Plus, Sierra was spreading lies about his best friend, too. Not that Wyatt was a very confrontational person towards anyone but maybe Cooper, but she knew it still had to bother him some.
"Can someone please remove this cunt? I think I'm catching a whiff of her crusty vagina, and it's making me sick," She said it loud enough so the entire library could hear. A few people laughed, and every obnoxious black guy in the room oooooh'd at her dis. She was actually a little surprised that the teachers in the room didn't say anything, but of course...Ryn was there, and she let Carol get away with pretty much anything.

Ginny practically skipped into the library. She was having the best day since like... Jesus invited the calendar. Everyone's Revenge of the Nerds day outfits her hilarious, and she'd been going around all day helping the yearbook club take pictures and ordering last minute decorations for the dance. She excused herself from fourth period to make a McDonald's run. Knowing she was about to see Rosalie, she also picked up something for her. She'd never taken her to a fastfood place on one of their...hanging out days (she referred to them as dates in her head, but never told her that), so she just had to guess. She had two chocolate milk shakes, two Big Macs, a large fry, and two of those little apple packets with caramel because she liked them and had a feeling Rosalie did, too. She just looked so adorable in her outfit. Plaid was definitely her thing. And she looked amazing in leggings. A part of her wondered if her legs felt as amazing as they looked... she shook her thoughts away and smiled as she walked up behind her. But as she did, she heard some vial girl insult her. What the heck?!? Wasn't that girl a freshman? She didn't normally pay attention of upper/lower classmen thing, but it should be an unspoken rule that freshmen are to be respectful to juniors and seniors! She knew she was when she was a freshman! "Rosalie?" Ginny walked right up and put her arm around the other girls shoulders. She looked down at the freshman. "Sweetie. I think you've forgotten your manners. And your clothes. Why don't you try acting like a decent person and maybe people will actually like you?" Her usual carefree smile never left her face, even though she didn't like being mean to people. She just needed to protect Rosalie. She never wanted to see her sad, and she looked very, very upset by what she'd been called. She pulled her to a table in the back of the room and put the bag of food and the drinks on the table. "Don't pay attention to that girl. She's...just don't worry about it. You're better than her," she winked, and started pulling things out of the bag. "I wasn't sure what you'd want, so I just got 2 big macs, a fry, chocolate shakes, and apple slices...good?" She raised her eyebrows and bit her bottom lip, hoping Rosalie liked it. It wasn't like McDonald's was the best food, but...it was better and the cafeteria.

Sierra turned around when Carol addressed her. Sure, lashing out that the not-so-fashionably-dressed girl was probably rude. But... did she care? It wasn't like it was her problem if the kid couldn't take a few harsh words. The little insult from the Rosalie girl didn't bother her - it was Carol and Ginny that rubbed her the wrong way. "Excuse me?" She snarled, glaring, her eyes flashing with sudden anger. She turned in her seat to face the crippled girl and just shook her head. "Yeah, if you weren't in that wheel chair, I'd rip your throat out. But, since I can't fight an injured kid," she rolled her eyes, "You're dismissed, bitch."
She was just about to turn around when she thought about a come back to the crude comments about her being a crusty vagina. "Oh, and that smell you've described? First off, eww, and second, it's not me. It's probably your bandages. Doesn't boyfriend over there have to change you soon or something? Eughhh!" She rolled her eyes for the second time and turned around, not-so-discretely flipping Ginny off when the girl said something to her. She didn't want to start a fight with another girl - staying out of conflict with her would be best.

Rosalie hadn't noticed Ginny walking in at first, but she knew she was there to hear the exchange that was made between her and Sierra. It embarrassed her to no end, that a complete stranger would find her outfit to be trashy. Trying to hide her shame, she quickly wiped her fingers under her eyes to get rid of any traces of tears, and pretended to be fixing her make up a little bit. She didn't want Ginny to see her looking pathetic. When her friend put her arm around her, however, Rosalie did something unexpected: her pulse quickened and her heart flipped for a second. Surprised, she found herself sort of leaning into the embrace before she relaxed casually out of Ginny's arm. What was that? Why was she all excited that Gin put her arm around her?
Smelling the McDonalds, Rosalie's stomach growled. She'd skipped lunch (as per usual) and inhaling the greasy fast food scent was too tantalizingly tempting! "Ooh, thank you, thank you, thank you!" She blurted, and reached out to pluck one french fry from the box, daintily holding it for a second, hesitating. She paused until it started to burn her fingers, then took a deep breath, and popped it in her mouth. You can do this - you can eat because you're with Ginny, and breaking the rules is okay sometimes... Work it off later, just work it off later. Eat it, work it off, eat it, work it off - that's not a big deal, that's progress, that's good... Have another fry, Rosalie! She encouraged herself
Trying to ignore what Carol and Sierra were talking about, Rosalie focused her thoughts on Ginny - and the strangeness that had occurred a second before. What was that? Sure, she was always super happy to see Ginny, but that felt different. It felt like more than excitement, it was like... a whole pile of nerves and joy and strong friendship rolled into one. Yeah, friendship, really good friendship - she was glad to have someone like Gin. "Hey, I like your nerd outfit," she tried to strike up the conversation. Thinking to herself, she added, I liked mine too until Sierra came along. But she didn't want to let Gin know that she was so bothered by that.
