'Really?', Crysta asked, as she pulled away a little, 'I couldn't tell?', she offered, not knowing what else to say. It was cute that he'd never had a real kiss before, though she wasn't certain what he meant by 'really'. Crysta almost wished she could say the same, that this could be their first kiss together, but it wasn't. There had been a couple boys in Tennessee, none of whom she was sad to see the back of. 'You're a good kisser though', Crysta said, and when Rusty smiled she poked him in his dimples, 'Boop!'.
'So, what do you want to do now?', she asked, leaning forward and giving Rusty another quick kiss, she was going to make sure that this kissing business wasn't just a one time thing.

Rusty giggled when the kisses kept coming and he was quite noticeably blushing. "I dunno," he said softly when she asked what they should do. "All I ever do is game. And now that I can't.." Looking around, Rusty was a bit sad as he noticed he literally had nothing to do in his room.
"Wanna.. wanna build a fort?" he asked suddenly, his eyes full of excitement as he looked at her and took her hands. "C'mon. Let's build a fort," he said, getting to his knees and then climbing off the bed, pulling Crysta with him. "Grab my computer chair. I'm gonna get the couch."

'Building forts is my favorite thing!', Crysta laughed, as she climbed off the bed and went to grab the computer chair. Excitedly she pushed it across the room so it was next to the bed. Then Crysta got back on the bed and collected all of Rusty's pillows in her arms. 'I'm going to put these on the floor, to line the fort', she said, she was probably putting too much thought in to the fort, 'And then ... If we pull your sheets ... Hmm'. Crysta arranged the pillows on the floor and stood back trying to figure out how the fort would come together, it was such a long time since she'd done this. 'What now?', she laughed.

Rusty pulled all of his coats off of his couch and dropped them to the floor. After pulling the couch a bit from the wall, he got behind it and pushed it so it was opposite the chair Crysta had set up. "Oh good idea with the pillows," he said, hands on his hips as he admired her work. "Yea yea let's take the sheets back," he agreed, walking back around the couch and to the head of his bed where he grabbed the quilt and began dragging it back towards the couch and chair. He draped it so it had a bit of and overhang in the front; a sort of door.
"I've got a couple blankets we could set on the floor so its not so uncomfortable.." he said in a hurried tone as he was running around his room gathering any plush material he had. "Oh and I've got this string of lights!" he said quite happily, pulling a strand of Christmas lights from a pile in the corner. "Second drawer on my desk, there's a big, brown extension chord. Grab that, yea?" he added as he crouched into the fort and began wrapping the lights around the top.

'Extension cord, check!', Crysta picked her way around the fort to grab the brown cable and toss it to Rusty before dropping to the floor and rummaging around with the pillows and coats, getting them in to the best position for maximum comfort. Crysta smiled up at Rusty when he mentioned Christmas lights, they'd make the whole thing kinda romantic, in a way. Hopefully they wouldn't blow up like the TV. Crysta sat on the floor then and waited for Rusty to finish the rest of the work, after all, Rusty seemed to know what he was doing.

Rusty took the extension chord from Crysta and plugged the end of the lights into it, then plugged it into the nearest wall. The lights were pretty bright, spare for a few that had burned out. Winking at Crysta, Rusty crawled out from under the floor and turned off the main light he'd turned on when they first came into the room. Now, only the Christmas lights lit the room. It was so pretty to look at. Even from the outside! Little glowing patches of pink, blue and green shone through the top of the fort.
After crawling back under, Rusty flipped onto his back and propped himself up with a couple of the larger pillows. His laptop was still glowing up on the desk, playing a slower song now. "Well done, master carpenter," he said to Crysta, using an overly exaggerated 'fancy' tone of voice as he put his hand up for a high five.

'Thank you, although I believe it would be a master ... Architect?' Crysta flipped on to her back too and held her hand up to high-five Rusty, she slapped her palm against his and kept it there, linking her fingers between his and letting their hands fall in-between them. The fort was warm and musty, in a nice way. The warmness sort of reminded Crysta of Tennessee which momentarily made her homesick for a place she hadn't even considered a home. With a small sigh she let her head fall to the side so it was just resting against Rusty's hair.
'This is really nice', Crysta smiled, nuzzling a little more in to Rusty's hair.
