About My Character:
Full Name: Penelope Junebug Turow
Age: 17. June 4th
Gender: Female
Grade: 10th
Sports/Clubs: Cheerleading; she’s awfully cheery & the drama club
Appearance: Your eyes are either gray or blue; I'm never close enough to say
She’s a good-looking girl. Her skin’s quite pale, but she likes it that way. And her hair is naturally brown, but she’s bleached it all her life, so it’s stuck at white. She has big, green eyes that gets her things, and pretty lips. She’s content with the way she looks. She’s prettier than most, so.
She’s very sophisticated in how she dresses. She has enough money to afford to buy whatever she’d like, and she makes sure that people look at her and go “Damn, girl” (which they do, of course).
Personality: Maybe we can sleep in; I’ll make you banana pancakes
hopeless romantic love. it’s a feeling, a state of mind, a thing, a person to Penelope. She’s infatuated with the thought of love. It dominates - or used to, anyway - our culture. Chivalry is the easiest way to get her wrapped around your finger. She’s gullible enough to even fall for the thought of charm.
motherly she takes it upon herself to mother everyone. She loves children like her own, and she’s the person people go to for advice. Just ask Mother Penelope and she can fix anything. She could be some sort of mother witch.
sugary-sweet she’s just a doll. She could never even fathom the thought of hurting someone in any way. She’s too caring and thoughtful for such things!
Background: If I could trade mistakes for sheep, count me away before you sleep
Born in Birmingham to two gay fashion designers, she spent five years there, and then she moved to Paris. It was truly the best time of her life! It was pretty, like her. She never wanted to leave. Alas, they did.
”Tokyo, Penny! You’ve always loved Japan,” her father said, trying to convince her. “Well, yes, I do, but not as much as Paris!” she said shrilly. “Well, we’re going whether you want to not.” And Penelope did not want to. She got over it, because Tokyo was nice, indeed, but Paris was her true home.
Tokyo was only a brief affair; she moved when she was ten, but she managed to convince her parents to let her go to New York. So, she ended up in Somerset, which was the worst decision of her life (have you been to this school?). But things happen. It isn’t too horrible, though. Far better than poverty. Or Payless heels. But most things are better than Payless.
Other:
She’s a synesthete. ”My favorite number is 28 because it smells distinctly like apple pie.”
She’s bisexual, and she truly doesn’t have a preference.
If you call her Penny, you will die.
She's extremely artistic.
