About My Character:
Full Name: Elise Teagan Fahyre
Age: 16 January 10, 1996
Gender: Female
Grade: Junior
Sports/Clubs: Gymnastics and dance.
Appearance: Elise is rather tall standing at 5' 7". She is rather skinny in comparison to the average sixteen-year-old, but that's because she is so athletic (gymnastics and dance since she was a tiny-tot). Underneath her skinniness is pure muscle because after taking dance and gymnastics for years, you build up quite a bit. Her feet tend to be bruised and scabbed, but they're tough, because she's on pointe in ballet and in gymnastics you're bound to have injuries as well--it's almost a given. You can't be a real gymnast without having an injury of some sort.
Elise has fair skin and a heart-shaped face. She tends to sport side bangs and has medium-long length hair. Her hair color is either dark brown or light brown, depending on the light and what color she's dyed it. She has naturally light brown hair, but she tends to dye it a dark brown-black color to make her sky blue eyes pop or stand out more. She loves makeup, although she doesn't always wear makeup (although that's uncommon), she doesn't cake it onto her face either. She can range from the minimal to an almost perfect smoky eye and every variant in between. Elise is used to wearing lots of makeup for recitals in dance and gymnastics, you need to wear a lot of makeup in order to see the persons face.
Her minimal amount of makeup, and what she usually wears to dance is: cover up, foundation, eyeshadow that matches her skin tone, eye liner, mascara, a tiny bit of blush, lip gloss, and eyebrow pencil. Her minimal amount is easy and takes about five minutes. On a daily basis, it's usually the minimal just with a more apparent colored eyeshadow--it also takes about five minutes. Then for parties, dances, and dates Elise takes it up a notch and goes all out smoky eyes the drama and degree depend on the party, etc. And of course, for dance, she has what she calls "hooker make up" because you basically put so much makeup on you look like a hooker.
Elise understands and knows what it means to be fashionable. Her outfits often range from casual comfy to high end editorial fashion styles. Elise is often seen wearing black or dark colored skinny jeans with dark brown or black suede boots and some sort of white blouse accompanied with a sweater or cardigan. Elise loves black, white, and grey as a color scheme for outfits that she wears. But, as mentioned before, her outfits range. Some days she could be wearing her skinny jean outfit--or some variant of it, other days she's wearing a dress with cowboy or knee high boots, and sometimes she goes all out casual-comfy in sweats, uggs, and an over sized sweater. Needless to say, boots are her favorite shoe type, but she also wears converse and toms--whatever looks best with the outfit. She loves messenger bags instead of backpacks, although she's been seen with a backpack once or twice. Scarves, hats, necklaces, gloves, and a purse of some sort (hobo bag, side purse, etc.) are her favorite fashion accessories. Of course, her outfits also depend on the season and weather as well. No matter what she wears, she's always making sure it looks good and is fashionable.
Personality: Elise is spoiled to say the least, she's used to getting everything she wants exactly when she wants it. To say she's demanding is an understatement; but even though she's demanding she can be nice too. She's more of a leader type than she is a follower, and she's definitely a perfectionist. She has a tendency to beat herself up when she messes up and she's overly hard on herself because of her perfectionist tendencies.
Elise has friends, but even her friends probably get tired of her bossy demanding ways. Those who choose to be her friend though, will have a loyal, trustworthy friend at their side for a lifetime--unless they cross her or mess up the trust in some way. Then you have an enemy for a lifetime, and Elise can make just a strong a friend as she can an enemy. She doesn't hesitate to make fun of her enemies and torture and create drama whenever she can. She doesn't exactly love drama in her life, but her enemies deserve whatever she dishes out--at least in her mind they do.
Elise is humorous and she is very sarcastic at times, but she at least has a sensor and she knows when its the time to be funny and when its the time to be serious. A pitfall in her personality, Elise is most definitely not humble. She likes to flaunt what she has (whether it be money or good grades), but people have (hopefully) learned to live with it and those who haven't get to deal with it anyway because Elise doesn't care. She gives credit when its due and she sticks to her honesty is the best policy. Along with that, Elise tends to be blunt, she doesn't like to sugar coat things and that can get her in trouble as well. She enjoys speaking her mind, and quiet isn't something that is in her personality list. She's loud, and can be obnoxious, for those who are of the quiet, shy personality type she can sometimes be intimidating. Elise doesn't care, she's being herself and that's what matters most.
Like all teenagers at some point in their lives, she's self-conscious. She's more confident than she was when she was a freshman, and she's learned to love more of herself (even if it can be in a conceited vain way at times), she still has her moments of self-doubt and "issues with body image" sort of thing.
To reflect on her childhood, she tends to show her love in the form of material items. So, she gives her friends random expensive gifts to show how much she cares and appreciates them. Does this mean that Elise is sometimes used for her money? That may be, but once she realizes it you're officially on her enemy list.
Background: Elise grew up in a rich background, she has lots of money and that's why she's able to keep up with the newest and hottest trends. Her parents show her care in the form of material items, meaning they showered her with gifts when she was little and shower her with gifts now. They gave her anything and everything she wanted to show how much they loved her; so she's learned to accept love in the form of material items. When she gets to go home over the weekends (if she chooses to), and during holiday breaks, she gets to return to a large mansion that is 18,700 square feet in size and over 3 acres of land to roam around on.
Although Elise had a happy childhood, it was happy in the form of she got everything she ever wanted. But she never got to see her parents, they were always off working--they are workaholics to say the least. Of course her parents loved and cared for her, but they never spent the time to actually understand her, a nanny would read her bedtime stories and kiss her goodnight instead of her mother. And the butler was the one who made sure the boyfriends she brought home were alright instead of her father. Her parents cared, they really did, but they cared in a different way than other parents. Her mother was off designing the newest fashions for the runway, which is probably where Elise's love of fashion came from, while her father was a distinguished editor of a fashion magazine. Elise's mother used to be a model, and for the longest time she wanted Elise to pursue that career path as well, but she was happy when Elise settled for dance--disappointed, but happy.
Her parents would bend over backwards to get her anything she wanted, if Elise wanted a horse and suddenly wanted to learn dressage and roping, etc. they did so (a phase which Elise went through when she was ten). And they didn't go to the normal of getting Elise a horse and an instructor, no they went to the extreme. They built a barn on her three acres, bought a champion mare and gelding, and also hired a private top-notch horse instructor. They didn't mind even the least when Elise decided that she wanted to stick to dance after a year of dressage (although she had continued dance for that year as well). Elise still owns the horses and just goes for joy rides.
Elise's childhood was splendid, she always had the biggest birthday bashes and the hottest birthday parties, and her parents didn't really care what she did as long as she wasn't failing her classes. Elise gave up around the age of seven when it came to hoping your parents would come to your recitals and things that were important to you. Elise's parents didn't even show up to her birthday parties sometimes, they just planned them and paid for them. For the longest time though, Elise always wished her parents would show up just once to something she cared about, even the briefest appearance at one of her dance recitals. When Elise got the prized Swan Lake role at the young age of thirteen in an audition at her dance studio, her mother bought her a custom made swan lake tutu/costume and a new pair of very expensive pointe shoes, but didn't care to make an appearance. So, no matter how much Elise begged her parents to show up to her recitals they always had an excuse and couldn't show up for some reason or another--always pertaining to work. She learned to accept it and moved on with her life.
Now, Elise is very distant from her parents. She loves them, but she's not close to them. She's closer to her Nanny and Butler to say the least. She talks to them on occasion, but when she heads home she's usually at home alone because they're off working in their offices at home, or off in another city/country somewhere. She doesn't tell her parents everything like some teenagers do, usually she talks to them on the phone and it's a brief conversation. A short, "Hello Mom." "How are you?" "Fine." "I'm glad, how's school?" "Fine, work?" "Wonderful darling, sending you something soon, and we just put more money into your bank account for your debit card, don't spend it all in one place! Ciao darling!" "Kay, bye Mom." And that's about it; short, brief and really pointless.
Although Elise's childhood was a dream to the outside world, she didn't always feel like it. Even now, she sometimes wishes she could trade in riches for actual loving, caring parents. Elise understands that her parents give her love and care in the form of money, but sometimes she wishes her parents would actually spend time to come to her recitals, listen to what she has to say and how she feels, etc.
