The seven hour plane ride back into the states was long and grueling. He had no one to talk to other than the passenger that was assinged next to him and they slept most of the way. Elliot had kept himself busy by teaching himself new magic tricks which he had forgotten within the same hour of learning them. He also drew (poorly, I might add) pictures of things he liked; Big Ben, the Manhattan bridge, Raine, his dog, the field back home. He slept the last three hours of the flight, and awoke rather violently when they were landing. Elliot had elbowed the shit out of the person next to him and quickly apologized. Elliot loaded his things in his cab and was off to Somer. He had been gone since early June and when the cab pulled up to the school grounds, a faint relief had rushed over him. He couldn't wait to see Raine but he would have to if he was going to surprise her. Elliot paid the driver and carried his things inside and to his dorm. He wasn't in the same one as last year and this one was a little bigger. The walls were bare and ugly but he had brought back a few things to hang up. He laid his things down and agreed with himself to unpack later on.. along with sleep. He felt so bad for coming back almost two weeks late so he would have to make it up to Raine. Elliot hadn't really thought anything up but figured something would come to mind. He had sent Raine a text as he headed out from his dorm and to his car in the parking lot. He wanted her to meet him in the park on the bridge. The drive was easy and uncomplicated. Most of the traffic was depleating because Thursday rush hour was over and it was dinner time. Elliot parked his car and headed for the bridge he told Raine to join him at. Even though they had been together for months now, he had been miserable without seeing her. His nerves were getting the best of him and his excitement was growing as every second past.

Raine was taking her time getting ready to see Elliot. It wasn't that she hadn't missed him or that she was planning on breaking up with him because she had and she wasn't but she couldn't explain the anger that filled her whenever she thought about how he had left her alone in this damn town for an entire summer and then didn't even come back when he said he was going to. What was so special in England? His parents would be fine without him! Didn't he see that she needed him far more than they ever could? He was her best friend, her lover... everything and he just left with no regard for that whatsoever.
Traffic was a bitch which made her feel slightly guilty for taking so long to get in the car and start driving but she honestly wanted him to suffer. She wanted him to feel every ounce of torture that she had felt when he was away but she knew that would be impossible as she would only be making him wait an extra ten minutes as oppose to the months they'd spent away from each other. What kind of an ass hole was he for doing that to her? It was cruel and ... she needed to stop thinking about it because the last thing that she wanted to do was slap him when she saw him but she could feel the anger beginning to intensify inside of her once more.
She had begged him to come home every single day that he was gone and he swore he'd be back soon only to disappoint her each and every time. She wanted to run and kiss him when she spotted him but she fought the urge and reminded herself that she was still angry with him. What if she went to hug him and couldn't resist the urge to slap him silly? She let out a small sigh and stepped over to him but there was a good two feet between them.
"Elliot."
One word.. Not even an 'I love you'... Just his name.. She wasn't even looking at him and it wasn't hard to tell that she was angry. She was frustrated with him because she had spent so much time crying on the phone and pleading with him to come home and yet he still took his sweet fucking time doing so. "I'm so mad at you right now." Well that was obvious...

Elliot was beggining to get nervous, what was taking her so long? People were giving him strange looks as they passed him on the bridge. What a weirdo standing there all by himself and staring at his refelction in the water below. He was thinking about his acute fear of water and swimming in general thanks to his older brother nearly drowing him. He was throwing the broken crackers from his flight to the ducks swimming below who were hastily nabbing them up as if they hadn't eaten in days. When Raine had finally showed up, she scared him a little bit. He jumped on the inside and spun around to see his beautiful girlfriend. "Raine!" He shouted and threw his arms around her, spinning her in two turns and then putting her down. His happiness almost completely vanished when she stated that she was mad at him. Elliot knew exactly why, though. Unfortunately he had no excuses to use. "I know you are and I'm sorry." His accent was flowing stronger than it was when he left. A school year in the States had caused him to American-it up ever so slightly. He sighed at his own disappointment. He had been such a terrible boyfriend, but it was always so difficult to leave Brentwood and his parents. "I got you something though.. kind of as part of my apology.." Elliot dug into his front pocket and pulled out a little black velvet box and handed it to Raine. Inside lay a white gold necklace with a 1/4 carat diamond. That was always a good apology, right? "It's your souvenir from London." He said, a smile spreading across his lips.

Raine wasn't planning on forgiving him until he pulled out that diamond necklace and she suddenly loved him a little bit more and her underwear felt oddly damp. "Oh Elliot..." What was she suppose to do now? Pull him into her backseat and let him take her virginity like that? "Um... Elliot..." She didn't even know what to say! Would this be kind of prostitution since she wasn't planning on putting out until he had given her a present? But it wasn't like she had been planning this.. Or even told him to get her something so it was all good... Kind of.
So it was really more of a moral grey area but whatever! It was really all good since nobody was going to call the cops and turn her in either way. "Hey baby.. Why don't we go to my car and you can help me get your present?" She pressed her lips against his and placed her right hand on his butt before taking his hand and leading him to her car which was luckily parked a little away from everything so nobody was likely to walk by if they did decide to get busy. "I know that I've made you wait this long and I know that you might not want to wait any longer and that's why I'm ready." She whispered this after she unlocked her car and laid down on her back in the backseat. She couldn't even stretch her legs out all the way!
"Um.. I don't know how we're going to figure this out but I know that I want to do it with you. I know that this isn't the most romantic place in the world but it'll be perfect if you're there." She nodded slowly and motioned with her finger for him to come closer to her. "I want you to by my first.. My only... You're my one true love." She slipped out of her flats and pulled down her thong and pulled up her dress, "If you want me then I'm all your's."
There was no way in hell that she was going to be able to get fully undressed in this tiny car! She couldn't even lay straight across the backseat.

Elliot was so relieved now that she seemed that she wasn't made anymore. It wasn't his intention to piss her off or anything, or to use the necklace as a bribe to make her forget she was mad. He wasn't even planning on giving it to her until he picked a night to treat her to dinner and possobly a ballet. Oh well, she was happy and he wasn't under a magnifing glass.
Now she had a present for him? Well, that was a pleasantly unexpected surprise! He cocked an eyebrow up as she grabbed his butt and tilted his head as she lead the way. Inside, he had the slightest feeling that she was definitely up to something... and she was. The second she unlocked her car and climbed into the backseat, he knew before she even said anything.
..Or before she started taking off her clothes. Elliot looked to his left and then his right before looking back at Raine. He could feel his face getting hot and was almost sure that it was beet red. "Raine, I-" He wasn't going to be able to talk her out of this.. and he honestly didn't want to. He wanted her, and if she was offering, why wouldn't he go for it?
Elliot took another look around before climbing in after her. There was such little room in her backseat he wasn't really sure how this would work. For the time being, he pulled her dress down enough to cover her, but he wrapped her legs around his waist and leaned down to kiss her lips. "When I was in Brentwood," He started as he breathed his words into her neck. "I couldn't stop thinking about you."
He really was being sweet but there was an undertone that he hadn't used in such a long time. There was nothing more he wanted to do for her than show his love in the most intimate way possible, but he hadn't thought it would be this difficult. Elliot kissed her neck after a short walk down memory lane, "I missed your smile.. I missed your laugh.." He pulled the strap of her dress down and kissed her shoulder.
Elliot fired off everything else he had missed about her; her skin, her touch, her kisses, everything. By now, he had managed to slip both of her straps off and now had his hand up her dress. He had completely forgotten that they were sitting in the backseat of her car in the park where people were just walking by. He could feel the pressure building up against his jeans and just as he was about to unzip them when there was a knocking on the car window.
Elliot's eyes grew wide as he removed his hand and looked at the person standing at the window. They motioned for him to roll down the window, and since the car wasn't on, he opened the door instead. He was just relieved that the guy wasn't a cop, but it was still bad that he had a shirt labeled 'Magnolia Park Security.' Elliot's heart sank as he tried to be as calm as possible. Couldn't they get into serious shit for this?
Elliot was trying so hard to hide his hard on from the man while he explained what exactly they were doing. He was surprisingly very calm when he spoke despite the fact that he was dying a little on the inside. After Elliot talked the guy out of turning them in for public indecency and he had left, he turned to Raine with a half smile. "I thought he was going to do us in." He laughed. Elliot adjusted his pants so that he wasn't uncomfortable anymore now that he had been cock blocked by the park patrol.
"Raine?" He asked, fixing her dress. "If you're serious about this.. how about I make it special?" He smiled to her to show that he was completely serious. He wanted their first time to be memorable, not in the back seat of a car. "Just give me a few days to make it happen." A few days. That was all he was giving himself to prepare something amazing. A few days to forget one hundred percent about the only other time he had done it. He swallowed hard and looked at her. "I love you.. and I want this to be perfect."

Raine was surprised how quickly that he managed to get her hot and bothered and he wasn't even touching her where she wanted him to.... She was grinding against him as he told her all of the lovely things that he had missed about her. She knew that her mother had warned her that a guy will do and say whatever it takes to get laid but Elliot wasn't like that. She knew that each thing that he said was because he honestly felt it not because he wanted inside of her. Hell, this wasn't even his idea! She was the one who dragged them to her car and laid in the backseat and gave him complete permission to take her virginity like this. "Elliot.... I need you." She mused right about the time that the security guard came to the window.
She was breathing heavily and trying not to focus on the fact that he had just cock blocked them while Elliot talked them out of getting into trouble. She was kind of hoping that he would immediately resume what he was doing after the security guard walked away but he, of course, was going to leave her unsatisfied. She actually gasped when he said that he wanted to wait a couple of days... It was sweet that he wanted to make their first time special but she wasn't thinking like that right now. She wanted to whine about how unfair that it was when a thought entered her head that she wished that she could forget.
His first time was with Ashley.
She nodded slowly and reached for her underwear to pull them back up and slip her shoes back on, "Yeah... That sounds fine.." How was she suppose to let him know that she wasn't disappointed because they weren't having sex but because she was worried he wasn't as in love with her as he was with his ex-girlfriend? "Elliot... Is it because of her?" She knew that asking could bring up a lot of bad feelings but she needed to know exactly what he was feeling about this whole thing issue. "I mean.. I know I'm not as pretty as her and I know I'm never going to be your first love or your first time or your first anything but you've been my first everything. You're my first love, my first kiss, my first real boyfriend... Everything for me has been you and I'm having a hard time accepting that I'm just a kiss to you.. or just another vagina."
Sex was suppose to be special no matter how many people you've been with as long as you love them but it saddened her to know that this wasn't going to be as big of a deal for him as it was for her. "I'm sorry...." She whispered it before she moved away from him but he could still easily touch her if he wanted thanks to the small backseat. "I feel like whatever we do doesn't matter because I'm not Ashley and I'll never be her... I will never live up to her, will I? I'm tired of always feeling like I fall short and feeling so incredibly guilty because I hate someone I've never met."

Elliot sensed the change in her voice and in her body language and felt like he knew was coming next. When she asked him if it was about Ashley, he dropped his eyes. Yes. "No," Elliot gave her a half smile before looking up to her eyes. His reply was so basic that he knew she could tell he was lying.. at least to some point.
It had a lot to do with Ashley and his irrational fear that what happened to her was going to happen again. He wouldn't be able to do that, he couldn't live through that again. Elliot shook his head when she started comparing herself to his last girlfriend. "No, no, Raine. It's not like that." He had taken her hands now and scooted closer to her. He made himself say the next few words and they hurt like someone was stabbing him with a dagger.
"You're so much more," He started, "She was my first love. But she wasn't my first real love. That's you, you hold that and I don't want anyone else to ever take that place." She was right when she said she would never be Ashley, but he couldn't even think of how to say that he was glad he had found her. He stumbled with his words, "You're so much better, Raine. You're my.. my everything." The sting that he was previously feeling had vanished when he said that. "You are." Elliot concluded with a nod.

Raine wanted to believe him that she was his everything but she just had trouble... She felt like she wasn't good enough for him but that he pitied her so he lied and stuck around. "You're still in love with her.. I know it and I hate it. I hate it that I have to spend so much of my time hating someone who I will never meet... I hate that I feel so insecure all the time and that I spent my entire summer waiting for you to come back but you were too fucking busy in Brentwood." She knew that she was letting her angry boil up again but it was hard not to when she was sad, hungry and extremely sexually frustrated. "You were the one who left me.. you were the one who didn't want to be here when I needed you. I needed you so much more than your parents did!"
She wasn't going to specify why she needed him so much.. Just that she did. If he really loved her then he would have came back despite not knowing what was wrong just because he loved her. "You just..... You didn't care how much I needed you... You could have came home early and I would have told you everything but now, you don't get to know because you don't really care enough." She was just being harsh but she was upset... She was upset because she felt like he would have done anything for Ashley but getting him to come home was like pulling teeth.
"I bet that if Ashley had called you and asked you to come to her then you would have been there in a second but when I really needed you, you were a week late. What if it'd been an emergency, Elliot? What if I was dying and you lost me just because you wanted more time away? You didn't even .... You knew how much I needed you here.. You heard me crying and begging you to come home every single night and it meant nothing to you."

Elliot pulled one of his legs up onto the seat and leaned against the opposite door. He pinched his eye brows together in confusion. Wasn't she was happy he was here? Or had he really fucked up this time? He shook his head. "No, Raine, I'm not. I don't love her anymore." He clenched his jaw at his own words. They were like poison in his veins ad only made him spiral further down.
He was fighting a losing battle with his girlfriend. He knew he was wrong to have stayed so long, but it was always so difficult to come back every time he went. If he were in Raine's position, he would have been mad at him just as much. He was believing ever word that was coming out of her mouth and every time she mentioned how much she needed him, he felt more and more guilty.
Elliot remained pretty quiet while he listened to her. Maybe he didn't care as much as he thought? He felt like he cared, but as someone said, actions speak louder than words and in this case, that couldn't have been more true. When she went quiet, he let out an inaudible sigh and started, "I did.. do care.." He said just above a whisper. What if you lost me.. What if he had lost her due to some kind of tragedy and couldn't get there in time to try and save her or do anything about it?
"I'm sorry, Raine." Elliot muttered. He could feel a lump forming in the bottom of his throat, and not he did was helping diminish it. "You deserve someone better than what I am. You-" He quietly cleared his throat. "You need someone who can be there through everything because I've shown you that I can't do that. I wouldn't blame.. nevermind." Elliot put his hand to the door handle and spoke into the window. "I'll go," He turned to her for a brief passing glance, "See you later." And with that, Elliot stepped out of her car, shut the door behind him and headed for his own across the lot.
