Full Name: Shoshana Cavanaugh. Her loved ones call her Shana. She doesn't have a middle name.
Age: Fifteen years old, born on February 3, 1997
Gender: Female
Grade: Sophomore, 10th grade
Sports/Clubs: Cheerleading, Chess Team, Drama, and Debate
Appearance: Average—would be the word to describe young Shoshana. She has an average height, five foot five and an average build. Speaking body type wise, of course. Shoshana has her own set of unique attributes like say, her facial features.
A heart-oval shaped face, large doe-like brown eyes, apricot colored skin and a small round, button nose.
Her fashion sense is quite ordinary. She, however, does wear clothes that are clean and well ironed (by her hands if course).
Personality: Ever since Shoshana was a child, she was educated to have manners. Her parents taught her to say 'please', 'thank you' and 'no thank you'. No matter the gender or age, she will open the door for anyone. In a crowded bus, Shoshana would give her seat to an elder. It isn't for show, it's just simply how she was raised. She calls it common sense which she believes that many lack.
The goals in Shoshana has in life is to be versatile. Flexible to everything. She doesn't want to be stuck in the same title, she doesn't want to be known for doing only one thing. People believe that the young lady has never been a child but more or so a grown-up. Shoshana thinks way beyond her age. She always has.
Although, Shoshana is easily jealous. She can be green with envy when others have something she wants or fool around with someone who belongs to her (or she thinks does).
Background: Shoshana was born in Cardiff, Wales. She lived there for eleven years before she parents emigrated to the United States. Their destination was Ellis Island where they were received from family members who generously had offered a place for them to lodge in.
Staten Island was very new to Shoshana and her parents. She felt afraid of going to school in fear of the being bullied by other children. Shoshana had seen it happen in television and she thought that it was the typical American school life. On her first day of school, the pre-teen realized that US school life was completely the opposite. To Shoshana's surprise, many of the students found her intriguing and befriended her on the first day.
As the years passed, teenage Shana began making her mark in school. She was given prizes for many of the chess tournaments she had been victorious in and she even was beginning to be popular with the boys despite her unusual hobbies.
At the age of fourteen, Shoshana was beginning to take an interest in the male gender. She was far too young and too unexperienced but so willing to live. Shoshana had an infatuation with a boy who was the son of her father's business partner. She was ready to do the unimaginable with him... Or so that's what she thought...
He was a year older than her, fifteen and incredibly handsome for her taste. Shoshana believed that she would be making love to a lover—almost out of a pocket fairy tale novel. When Shoshana woke up after the long night and realized that she wasn't protected, chances are that she would be expecting the child of a man who she didn't truly love nor did she want to spend her life with. Not at the age of fourteen.
The idea of that bothered Shoshana so much that she pushed her now ex-lover off the bed before getting dressed and rushing out to buy a pill. After taking the plan B pill, she felt much better. No guilt was felt upon her and she had learned her lesson. But the thrill of having that off her checklist made her excited.
An "inspiring" coming of age story...
