Why would you even have a party right after a whole bunch of people got shot? Well to lighten the mood. He had had a rather depressing thanksgiving, because of the shooting and all the awkwardness with Jem, so why not throw a small party? Besides it wasn’t like he had anything better to do. He sent out invitations on face book because he didn’t actually have all that many friends so he didn’t expect that many people. Maybe that Hannah girl, she seemed cool, and hot. He had some chips and beer on the desk, he didn’t know what kind of food people would want, and everyone liked chips right?
He checked his hair in the mirror making sure that it was standing up in the back like he had had it, and added a little more hair spray to the back of it. His hair was actually looking decent today, after working on it forever. He was dressed in a pair of black jeans and a pair of converse with a legends of Zelda t shirt that was in the bottom of his closet, and smelled clean. He had no idea what to do while he was waiting for people to show up, since he didn’t host many parties. He made sure the door was unlocked and turned up the music, and then took a handful of chips and a beer that he planned on sipping slowly, and sat crisscrossed on the bed.
Seven minutes in heaven sounded like a good game to play at a party, when the people actually showed up, and hey maybe he would get some kisses.

www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=85548856Honestly, Robyn had no idea how she'd even found out about this party. She was an underclassman, so it was weird that she'd been invited at all. At Somer, she'd noticed, most parties were exclusively juniors and seniors, unless somehow freshmen and sophomores found their way in, either through friends or just showing up and dressing slutty enough to pass as older. Either way, Robyn was happy to get out of her dorm. Finally she found the dorm where the party was supposed to take place (or so she assumed, from the music) and knocked. Robyn stood there awkwardly - Were you supposed to knock at a party? Well it'd been too long now to just walk in... Screw it. Robyn opened the door and stopped. "Uhh.." She saw one person sitting on the bed in the room, who she didn't recognize. "Ummm the party is here, right?" Robyn looked around. Despite it being empty, the beer, chips, and loud music all screamed party. It had to be the right place. She sighed a little. "I'm Robyn," She finally said, straightening her dress a bit and taking a single chip. She didn't really want to drink anything, especially not beer. Maybe when more people showed up, she would though. Hopefully she'd know someone there.

Hannah wasn't typically invited to parties, as sad as that sounded. Who wanted to invite the "scene" girl to their dorm room? Wouldn't she start worshiping the devil in the middle of the dance floor and ruin the night? Hannah had heard it all at her old school, and never expected it to change at Somerset high. She was pleasantly surprised when she got a Facebook invitation from the nice kid she had been talking to on the Somerset chat room. It was awesome that he had thought of her - and, you know, found on her on Facebook, too. Getting ready was actually kind of difficult, considering she was having a lazy day. She had been lounging around in a pair of crappy shorts and a too big t-shirt, no make up and hair sticking out at all angles. When she got the notification on Facebook, she had an hour to get ready - which mean the fastest shower ever and pulling an outfit out of no where, plus a ton of time to get the hair and make up right. She had been feeling pretty rainbow-fantastic, today (which is totally a mood, ask anyone) and layered herself up with red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple - make those neon colors, too. Her hair, a bright platinum blonde, was fixed in her typical scene style - she reminded herself she would have to dye it later - and then it was time to leave. When she got to Aiden's, she didn't know what to say. She just sort of opened the door, hearing the music, and walked herself in. Oh great, she was one of the first people there. "Hey, Aiden!" She greeted him with her high-watt smile, feeling a bit out of place now that they were in person and not online. Never the less, she sort of stumbled over and threw out her arms, leaning in for a hug. Here came her automatic confidence, never faltering! She just had to be overly friendly! { www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=85549700 }

Derek hadn't been to a party in ages. He hadn't actually had time to party since sophomore year, really. What with constantly studying and working his ass off to stay at the top of his class, plus lacrosse, he could never fit anything into his schedule that was extracurricular. Now he was a senior and it was finally his prime - he figured that no one could knock him from his position in the top of the class, and he was due to party. Though the shooting had put a damper on things, especially since he had personally gotten injured, he managed to stay positive. Many wonderful lives were lost, and he mourned them every day - but he knew that his friends would want him to move on.
He hadn't exactly gotten invited to this party. He had seen on Facebook that a few of his mutual friends were going - and that was enough of an invitation for him. He'd seen Aiden around a few times, so he was certain that the kid wouldn't mind him crashing. Besides, he was bringing a bottle of Jack whiskey - and who could say no to booze, right? He heard the music playing from down the hall and rushed to the door, entering with the bottle of whiskey held out like a white flag. "Hey, party people!" He sort of yelled above the music, putting the bottle down on the desk and munching on a few chips. He wasn't the sort of civilized party goer you might imagine him to be...

( www.polyvore.com/parttyyy/set?id=85552170 ) So he found out about another party through a friend on face book. He wasn’t invited per say, but he decided that since he had seen the invitation it was safe for him to go, and besides who didn’t want to party. As long as he didn’t have to kiss any more guys then he should be good. So after he saw the invitation, he got out of bed and changed into real clothes since he had been walking around his house all day in sweats, since there was no school yet. He decided on a pair of kakis and a t shirt with a red and white flannel shirt over it. Since it was cold outside, and he had learned from last time that he might be stripping so it was wise to wear a lot of clothes. He told his dad he was leaving and then headed to the school, it didn’t take very long to get ready, so he was a little bit early. He spiked his hair up before leaving but it got soaked on his way to the school, because it was raining and freezing. He tried to spike it back up before he went in using the rearview mirror but it didn’t work. Eventually he decided to get out though and search for the party, there was music on loud, so he assumed he was in the right place when he stepped into the dorm. There wasn’t many people there, but maybe it was a small party. He took a handful of chips and a beer and said hey to everyone not sure what else to do he stood by the desk waiting for more people to show so they could get this party on the road.

www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=85556077 Aliana didn't normally like to associate herself with other kids from school; from what she saw, most of them were all immature party goers with nothing better to do with their lives, and she always thought herself better than that. She'd drink from time to time and dance whenever she so felt like she wanted to have a good time and loosen up, but remaining classy was typically Aliana's forte. Though, being with the recent death of Alex... she couldn't help but think she might as well get into the spin of the whole teenager thing and live her life while she can, because it was most definitely short. She hadn't even left any time to herself to mourn. She'd cried an infinite amount of tears at the hospital the moment she felt Alex's grip on her hand loosen and heard the flatline beep... but the days after that, she was cold. Pushing up her boobs in the cropped tank she was wearing, Aliana didn't recognize herself too much in what she was wearing. She looked more like her cousin, Lulu, than anything, and that chick had a rack that could suffocate any living organism upon getting stuck in there. Fuck it, right? She should wear what she wanted, even if it wasn't exactly her style. Hearing about the party after checking Facebook, Aliana decided she'd attend, even if she didn't know this Aiden kid all too well and probably wouldn't know too many of the other faces going, but, who cared? As long as there was free booze to share, she was good. Walking through the hall of the dorm building, a funny feeling stirred in her stomach. This was Daniel hall. She hadn't been there since... Aliana stopped walking when she found herself in front of Alex's old dorm. She bit her lip and stared at the door, glancing down at the knob, then looking back down, biting her lip. A part of her felt like going in; she was sure nobody had gone in yet to collect his things, though someone would be asked to do it eventually, and she almost wanted to open the door and try and maybe remember him, feel like he was still there, for even a second --but she couldn't do that. Aliana swallowed back a sob and shut her eyes tightly, forcing any tears that had begun to form in them out and wiping them away, furiously, continuing on her way to Aiden's dorm and plastering a smile onto her face, "Hey guys," she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, walking further into the room and grabbing some chips and popping some into her mouth, "we gonna play any games here, or what?"

Bray would never pass up a party. Never. He was far too fabulous to not show up looking finer than hell. And the fact that this was one of those "seven minutes in heaven" parties made him all giddy inside. There was more than handful of good looking boys at this school, and the last time he'd played a game like this, they'd have to do something embarrassing if they said no. Or could they even say no? It didn't matter, just the thought made Bray smile as he finished making his famous guacamole. Dressed in a theme of red, white and gray, Bray almost matched the gloomy weather. It was probably a good thing he hadn't worn a beanie today; it would've been gray and only added to the overall glumness of the day. But his hair was far too beautiful to cover up. So, guacamole in hand, Bray started down the hallways towards Aiden's room. He hummed a little as he went, head held high and shoulders back. (goddamn its so short i'm just so distracted)

Ras had tried to convince Evan to come to this little shindig, but she insisted on staying in her dorm. She was still obsessing over her out of state ex-boyfriend, so coming to a make out party was just not her thing. He, on the other hand, had no ties to anyone at all, so he saw no point in not going. Things had been weird since the shooting. He was glad no one he personally knew had been hurt, but still the loss was heavily felt by everyone. School still hadn't started back up, and there were rumors that it wouldn't until after Christmas break. That just seemed crazy to him, but it was understandable. There were still police everywhere and they needed to beef up security, but he really hoped school wouldn't be delayed that long. That would mean that summer would be shorter.
He knew Aiden, but barely though. He was more of a friend of a friend, but it was still nice to be invited. He was aware that everyone was really invited, but he didn't care. Being included in things was nice. He looked around at the people who were already there, and he didn't really know anyone, so he just kind of sat himself down against a wall and pulled out his phone. He was really starting to wish his sister wasn't so lame and had come with him, because now he was just being an awkward turtle. He sighed and started playing Temple Run, hoping this game would start soon so he could watch other people be awkward or just make out with someone hot.

Once everyone settled in and took a seat on the floor in a circle, Aiden had set out a bottle. This was an odd way to play "Seven Minutes in Heave".. Bray had never had to 'spin' to choose his partner. But he wasn't about to argue. This was fair so it didn't matter. And anyways, he got to go first so he definitely wasn't complaining.
Crawling towards the bottle, Bray reached a hand out to grab it and gave it a gentle twirl. While it took its time getting around, Bray sat back again and looked around at the faces. He'd already picked out a few people he'd like to get in that closet with... and to say that he was pleased when the bottle stopped on Ras would be an understatement. Bray practically glowed when he saw Ras realizing that they'd just been paired, and couldn't help but smile. "So.. which.. closet?" Bray asked, looking around a bit as if he didn't know that there was really only one closet.
Weeks back, Bray had been lucky enough to get paired with Ras for that fundraiser date thing. It had been a good time, really, so this shouldn't be TOO awkward. At least he knew that this boy was into dudes. That was on his list of worries with most of the other guys in the room. But he didn't have to guess with Ras so that was definitely a plus as Bray go to his feet and started for the closet. Noticing Ras following, Bray opened the door and stuck his head in, searching for a light. There was a pull string. "Someone start the timer, then," he said with a smile over his shoulder as he stepped aside to allow Ras entrance.
