Full Name: Tamera Rita Richards
Age: Fourteen years old, September 17th 1998
Gender: Tammy's a girl
Grade: 9th, freshman
Sports/Clubs: Drama, Film and Photography and Soccer
Appearance: Tamera or Tammy (as she likes to be called) stands at an average height. She is neither too tall nor too short; about five foot five inches off the ground. Her weight is healthy for what her height is and her build can be best described as normal. Tammy is always snacking on something a granola bar or a bag of marshmallows.
Her hair goes down to her chest and she likes curling it or holding up and away from her face. It's naturally dark like her brother Gene's and unlike her brother Sam who was born blonde. Tammy combs her hair every night and doesn't dry it with a blow dryer. Her hair is very thick and full and full of secrets (that's why it's so big).
As for her eyes, they're very big and very dark. A round shape and an almost nonexistent pupil because of their deep shade of brown. Tammy is not fond of wearing make-up but she does wear it. Just a little bit of concealer, cream eyeliner very close to her top lashes and mascara.
Tammy's age is usually mistaken but who can blame then when she has very much of a baby face. Her brothers call her chubby cheeks jr. because of her face. She also has a button nose and small but full lips. Her fashion style is mostly floral blouses and jeans. She loves her classic rock band t-shirts and colorful jeans, too.
Personality: Most people would describe Tamera as naive. She has yet to learn about the world but she doesn't seem to be in the rush to. She's not terribly naive because who really is nowadays but she's not thinking about being adult just yet. Tammy enjoys riding her bike, going to the beach and painting on rainy days. She has said that she's afraid of parties especially teenage parties. Tammy thinks kids are growing up way to fast nowadays and they need to hold their horses.
Growing up with two older brothers has made it easy and difficult for Tammy. On the upside she has two guys to stand up for her and defend her from all evil but the bad side is that they are too protective and maybe she's not as feminine as other girls because she grew up around boys. As a little girl, Tammy followed her brothers out to the arcades or game stores and she hung out with them and their friends who were mostly guys. She's just used to hanging out with dudes but that doesn't mean she has anything against girls. If anything she wished she had more female friends to talk about well girl stuff.
Tamera is dedicated to what she loves and she loves film and photography. Anything that has to do with cinematography. She loves to quote movies and has a collection of them. On her wall Tammy has several movie posters varying from the first pictures to the movies of today. She loves the fine things such as books with interesting story lines and beautiful vocabulary. So needless to say, Tamera may not be much of a grown up but she has excellent taste (and she says so herself).
Background: Tamera was born in London, England and she is the youngest child of Vivien and Franklin (Frank) Richards. She is also the sister of Eugene (Gene) who is in college and Samuel (Sam) who like Tammy attends Somerset. Tammy was raised around boys and hardly ever had any femininity in her life. The only one who taught her how to wear make up and act like a lady was her mother and her grandmother. Tammy was careful not to get her Sunday dresses dirty but the more careful she was the easier she got dirt on them. When she wasn't careful they ended up spotless. What was the big deal?!
At an early age, Tammy discovered her love for the movies after watching several kinds of films. She was fascinated by the landscapes, the soundtracks and the effects. Even more when she saw animated films. She began to read books she borrowed from the library about the history of film. Afterwards, she got into photography and found it easier to practice for the moment. Tammy has until this day taken a lot of pictures of her family and friends. Although her most favorite thing to catch on film is nature.
She isn't quite a professional and has been told to perfect her photographs. Tammy has also been stolen from and she's been rigged so many times. However, her dedication is stronger than just quitting because of critique. She believes that in order to succeed she has to keep moving forward. A quote she adopted from Meet The Robinsons.
Tamera was the most excited when her family moved to the United States. She had seen New York in movies and she could have only dreamed about it. During her first year or so she begged her brothers to take her exploring around the state so she could take pictures. Although she does miss England dearly and she wishes she could go visit someday, she loves New York.
