Name:
Elizabeth Lucila Hanson
Age:
16 - December 25th
Gender:
Female
Sport/Club:
She's not a part of anything.
Grade:
Senior
Appearance:
Elizabeth is 5'7 which is actually semi disappointing to her because she adores high heels but feels like a giant in them. Her legs are slender from her frequent work-outs as she likes to stay in shape. She's a beautiful woman and it's plain to see; the twinkle in her eyes is almost enchanting. Happiness looks good on her! She's got that special kind of smile, you know? The one that you see and you just can't help but return.
She's very into more formal clothing but if she feels lazy then she's not afraid to leave the house with no make-up in her sweats. She tries to dress up because her mother lived in sweatpants and baggy tees for years. She thinks that losing the energy to even get dressed in the morning is a very bad sign.
Personality:
"Single-minded to the point of recklessness."
She's the type who sets her mind on one thing and is extremely stubborn on that point of view even if what she has her mind set on is dangerous, stupid and possibly against the law. She doesn't like staying in one place or with one person for long. She doesn't whore around but she isn't typically in relationships for long periods of time. She gets into these moods where she wants to change everything about her life.
She's not the type who handles conflict well and her usual way of handling it is just to run away from it. She would rather not deal with any pain.
Background Story:
Sometimes I wonder what's worse; having a family member suffer from a long disease or having them decide to take their own life suddenly. I know how awful that sounds, why would anyone want a family member to be sick and suffer but isn't depression a sickness? There's suffering either way but in one scenario, they don't want to leave and you have some time to prepare for the death but in a suicide.... It's nothing that you could ever expect.
I think people ignore the obvious sometimes. What eight year old wants to ask why their mother spends all day locked away in her room? Or why she spends weeks away? None. It's all normal to a child who doesn't know any better. I realized that my family was different when I first went to a sleepover, the mom was so warm and welcoming! I expected her to be as short tempered as mine but she treated me like her own from the start. It was so lovely that I longed for my own mother to treat me that way.
We never got the relationship that I craved for many years because her depression took over everything like this darkness that killed all of her light. She killed herself when I was fifteen by overdosing on something or other, it was some pill with a complicated name. She was on a lot....towards the end, I mean.
