Dorian had had enough. It was the fourth time that week that some obnoxious jock thought he could point out Dorian's lack of breasts and curves. Sure the boy was popular and had a devote following of dumbass team-mates, but that didn't stop the small blonde from slapping him square in the face. It took a moment for the adrenalin to die down, his eyes to re-focus and to see what he had actually done. He had just hit someone, round the face. He had never even squashed a spider, how had he managed to hit someone?! Dorian, shocked at his own actions covered his mouth with both hands. He could feel a deep red blush appearing on his face as the jock re-composed himself to look at the person who had just slapped him.
The larger boy made to move forward, but Dorian was quicker. Darting around the group he stumbled rather unceremoniously down the corridor and round the corner. Breaking into a run when he couldn't see the group chasing him. He needed somewhere to vanish and, as if by magic, his eyes found a dark wooden door marked 'Do Not Enter'. Perfect. Pushing it open he found himself face-to-face with a flight of stairs leading up onto what Dorian could only assume was the roof.
He bit down on his lip and made the quick decision to follow his instinct. Making his way up the stairs he straightened himself up a little, getting rid of the creases in his clothes from the run. Pushing open the door at the other end, Dorian visibly shivered when the cold wind hit his face. He wasn't really dressed for the occasion, but he couldn't deny the view was beautiful. Walking forward he stopped just short of the railing keeping him from the edge.
Maybe he could just stay up here all day and everyone would forget what he'd done. He could just go home safely and not have to worry about being attacked by the football team. His mother had always told him to stay out of trouble. She had never approved of his dresses, or his make-up. In fact she hadn't really approved of anything Dorian had done. But he had never expected anything more from her.

Aiden had nothing better to do. Well actually, he did, but instead he was sitting on the roof, reading some book from a summer reading list, because he hadn't done it yet, since he'd been sitting at home playing video games all summer, not reading, who read books during the summer? No him clearly, and now he looked like a dork bent over his stupid book that he didn't want to be reading anyway so when the teacher asked him questions he would vaguely know what was going on.
When hen heard someone else come up on the roof though, he looked up from his book, and flipped his hair out of his eyes, which didn't work, he had a pair of ridiculously large reading glasses on. He took them off though, and set them down next to him, brushing his hair from his eyes, and looking at the person who had walked up on the roof. He waited a few seconds to see if the person would notice him, unsure if they did or not. He looked up at them, not sure who that was.
"Hey." he said, raising a brow. Not really meaning anything by that just making a stupid face, for no reason.

He had been stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid. How could he have hit someone? Especially someone with so much influence around the school. Someone that could easily overpower the twiggy blonde. Dorian sighed, running his hands down over his face, careful not to smudge the meticulously applied make-up he had spent at least an hour making perfect. It would blow over; he would be fine.
Suddenly a voice came from the other roof that startled Dorian so much that he almost tripped over his feet. Thank god he hadn't been in his heels, or he could have found himself over the edge of the railing. It was a boy, Dorian was pleased to find. He seemed to be reading, which dampened the mood a little. Sure dorks were cute, but geek chic was as far as it went. Real nerds, eh, not so much. The blonde smiled anyway, and made his way over. Hi, sorry I totally didn't see you there, he said, his voice was soft - which made the gender illusion even harder to decipher.
Biting his lip he perched down next to the boy, playing with the hem of his dress, his eyes glancing over the book but not recognising the cover. Dorian didn't really read book, he usually picked subjects that avoid that sort of thing. Art, Drama, anything that seemed easy. Good book? he asked, his voice light, even though he didn't really care for the answer. But Dorian wasn't know for his rudeness.

"No. not really." He said, "It's just some stupid book I was stupposed to read over the summer, but never got around to it..." He shook his head, the only books he ever reall got into were easy ones, not to say he couldn't read well. He just didn't like reading, he'd read the lord of the rigs series, and loved them. He just didn't read things that were boring, like this stupid book. So he threw it to the side not bothering to mark his page.
"Clearly that was not a good book." He said, making a mental note to pick it up later so he didn't have to pay another libary fine to be honest though, he was pretty sure that the libarian hated him because he'd destroyed so many books.
"So." he started, brushing his hair out of his eyes again. "I'm aiden, and I know I have possibly the most girly name on the planet, my mom just wanted to make sure I would get made fun of as a child, as if being me wasn't enough." He said, with a laugh. "Nice to meet you..." He paused waiting for the girl to say her name.

Dorian brushed his hair over one shoulder, running his fingers through it like any girl would. He smiled and watched as the book was quickly discarded to one side. It wasn't that Dorian wasn't interested in books, his grandfather had made him read all the classics when he was younger and he could almost recite the opening lines of Pride and Prejudice by heart. He also read in his spare time, books on romance and chivalry. Things that didn't exist anymore.
The blonde crossed his legs, tucking in his dress. Aiden, it was a nice name, not girly like the boy had suggested. It suited him. I'm Dorian and a pleasure to meet you too. he said, running his tongue over his bottom lip. It hadn't crossed Dorian's mind that Aiden would confuse him for a girl. He generally just accepted that people immediately saw him as a boy in a dress.
What's wrong with being you? Dorian asked, suddenly curious as to why the boy had said it. So his mother had picked out his name, like most parents would. Dorian's name had come from a book his mother had loved as a child. But the namesake wasn't as lovely. A man who sold his soul to the devil to remain young and beautiful forever. Dorian had often denied he would ever do such a thing when he was younger, but now he wasn't so sure. Could he ever be old, wrinkled, grey with cellulite oozing over his body. He involuntarily shuddered at the thought. Maybe he should sell his soul to the devil. At least he would out-live the jocks and cheerleaders, and probably look better than them to top it off.

"There's nothing wrong with being me...." He let his voice trail off, well he used to think there was, when he got bullied every day for being him, yet everyone told you to be yourself. It made perfect sense. He shrugged.
"I get bullied a lot when I was younger, I'm still a little bitter." He laughed. He honestly wasn't sure what the gender of the kid he was talking to was, but he didn't judge, so it wasn't a big deal. Generally, he'd learned to not judge people, since he didn't like it. So he didn't really care what the answer was.
"So what are you doing up here?" He asked in a suspisious voice, and raising a brow, trying to make the question sound humorus in a way.
Ooc: That sucked. Sorry :c
