Tabitha Kline: Was a quiet girl, born in a little town inside New York. She fell in love and eventually married her high school sweet heart, Robert Taylor. Tabitha is an accountant at a local business. When Trista was born, the couple was the happiest they've been since the wedding. When Trista was 4 her father was laid off from work. He turned to alcohol and became extremely violent. It started off as just an abusive relationship between Tabitha and Robert, however when Tabitha was at work and Trista was home from pre-school, Robert's anger would turn toward the child.
It was usually always verbal, the home filled with yelling. However, it wasn't unusual for the poor child to be pushed around, but Trista loved her father and believed he could change. One particular night when Tabitha returned home to an extremely violent Robert, Trista tried stepping in and it landed her in the hospital. It led to a very nasty divorce that led to psychological issues with Trista.

Tabitha blamed everything on herself. She sent her daughter to therapy, believing it would be the cure. The quiet girl was diagnosed with speech issues and Tabitha believed that was the end of everything. Little did she know that Trista would be effected far into the future. When she saw her daughter in a relationship, she was happy for her. She thought that her little girl would finally find the happiness she deserved. She didn't know that the relationship Trista had gotten herself into was also abusive. The mother was oblivious when her daughter started wearing clothes that covered up a majority of her body even when it was warm.
When she finally saw the bruises, she thoroughly questioned her daughter. She made the executive choice to send her daughter to Somerset high school. She still calls her, every other day if things are good. She's noticed her daughter lately drifting back into herself. She's happy to hear that her daughter is in a relationship. She hasn't told her daughter that Robert has been trying to make contact claiming he's a changed man.
