It was a rather chilly evening in Brooklyn--perfect weather for couples to snuggle up on a blanket and watch movies on the side of a building. Tonight's featured film was an independent movie produced by local students. There was no entry fee nor concession stands, so it was every man for himself in terms of food. Luckily, Nick had prepared beforehand, stopping by Walmart for pre-made popcorn and enough candy to rot a shark's three rows of teeth. However, he wasn't about to let his date have only junk food for dinner. At the bottom of his picnic basket were two sandwiches, juice, chocolate covered strawberries, and blankets in case Eleanor got cold.
He also dressed to impress tonight as well. Nick wore a shirt just snug enough to show off his efforts at the gym and matching colored shoes. His blue jeans were casual and straight leg, just the way he liked. Skinny wasn't his style and baggy jeans really did not flatter anyone's image. His blonde hair appeared to have a mind of it's own, sprouting out whichever way it pleased, but at least it maintained a general direction. For the finishing touch, Nick had a spritz of cologne, one of the many in his collection. Less was more--he didn't want to smell like he bathed in the product.
Walking alongside Eleanor, Nick carried the basket in one hand and a blue knitted blanket in the other because nobody liked grass poking at their butt. He'd seen the girl around school on various occasions and even kissed her once at the kissing party. She was cute with her blonde hair and blue eyes. What was really attractive to him was their difference in height. Nick just wanted to pick her up and spin her around. Unfortunately, he didn't want to be too forward with things and if all went well tonight, he'd get a second date. Slow and steady wins the race. Eleanor wasn't a prude, he knew that much, but Nick wanted to get to know her the old fashioned way by dates and notes in the lockers and whatnot.
"Are you cold?" he asked with a smile, setting the basket on the grass before laying the blanket down. He chose a spot a little further away from the other couples, but still close enough for the two of them to be able to see the movie clearly. Nick climbed on the blanket first and held his hand out for Eleanor to follow.

"Don't do anything to ruin your purity, Ellie Boo Bear!"
Eleanor wasn't sure what was worse about her mother's warning as she left the house this evening - the fact that she called her 'Ellie boo bear' or the fact that she actually believed that she was stupid enough to go off and lose her virginity to a guy that she barely even knew. He seemed like a decent person anyway who didn't just want to throw her down in the backseat of his car and have his wild way with her. She didn't really understand why most of her family had such a hard time believing that a guy as handsome as him could want more than just her virginity from her.. Maybe he actually liked her as a person! Nobody questioned Leonardo's intentions when he first began dating Ingrid but she assumed that had a lot to do with the fact that Ingrid was the golden one. She could easily get away with murder if she needed to.
She adjusted her dress and suddenly wished that she hadn't decided that her jacket was too bulky for an outdoor movie in the beginning of February which everyone knew was a relatively cold month in New York. She thought that it was worth it though since she knew that she looked almost as cute as him tonight. Lucky guy! He probably hadn't spent over two hours in the mirror debating what strapless bra to wear and which shoes wouldn't make her feet look bad if her dress happened to move. This was the struggle, huh? Children in Africa probably would disagree with that and if she wasn't so nervous then she probably would, too. She just had 'silly teenage girl' mode on right now and impressing the boy next to her was all that mattered.
What a gentleman! "I am a little cold actually.. Do you happen to have a blanket or something in that basket of mystery?" She asked with a small smirk. She was really curious about what all that he could have in there.. Condoms and lubricant? Candy and bubble gum? Cocaine and vodka? There were so many different things that he could think to bring tonight and most of them were probably not the things that she just thought of.
She actually rather liked the fact that he had found them a little spot farther off from the other couples. She didn't want to watch anyone laying on their blankets dry humping. She'd seen enough of that from living with Ingrid during her relationship with Leonardo.. Damn three bedroom houses! She was so grateful to have her nice cozy dorm room without any worry about catching her horny *loud* sister doing the naked dance on the bed with her boyfriend.

Though he wasn't expecting anything more than a good movie tonight, Nick thought Eleanor looked very cute in her dress. It was modest in terms of length, which he liked a lot. He was glad she wasn't some hoochie mama with a mini skirt and a tank, or if she was, then at least she had enough brains not to do it in this kind of weather.

Courtney knew that it was irresponsible and dangerous to her career to invite Jamie to do things like this with her. But, she assumed that nobody from Manhattan would really head to Brooklyn for a movie night in the park and if they did then they'd be far too focused on their own dates to pay any attention at all to the fact that there was a teacher on a date with a student. Was this even a date? She figured that it was since this was a couples outdoor movie thing but what if Jamie wasn't aware of that? What if he assumed that they were just too friends hanging out and watching a movie together? She couldn't say that she wouldn't be at least a little disappointed if that was the case.
She was fully aware of the fact that it would be better for him to just think of her as a friend but she was too selfish to let him go. She didn't want to imagine him going off and dating some random hussy or bumping uglies with anyone who wasn't her. Logic clearly had no place inside of her head right now. She was just thinking about how much that she wanted to hold his hand and stroke his hair when he was sad or fall asleep in his arms when she just couldn't stay awake anymore. The problem with being attracted to a student was that she knew that the chances of this happening was slim to none. He would never be able to spend evenings with her because his parents more than likely wouldn't just let him sleep over at a random woman's house and she couldn't imagine them approving of their teenage son having a twenty-four year old woman in his bedroom late at night.
She didn't even care so much about the fact that he clearly wasn't ready to have sex with her. She was willing to wait! She would probably be considerably less willing to wait if she was also a teenager and didn't have access to a sex shop to buy herself some toys but that wasn't important. "It really means a lot that you were willing to come here tonight with me." She reached out for one of his hands so she could lead him to a more secluded location. She didn't know how good that the view was going to be from this spot but she did know that it would be nice if anyone happened to see them. "I brought some snacks if you get hungry." She had nearly forgotten to mention what exactly that she had in her picnic basket. It was mostly cheese balls and candy but she did sneak a bottle of wine in there. She wasn't going to not drink just because he was underage!
"I brought some wine if you want some of that." She mostly just wanted to see how he would respond to it that she drank alcohol.

www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=95145103Jamie was a little apprehensive about going to this movie thing after the picture and warning that the burn blog had shared. He had become more careful with the things that he and Courtney did or said in public areas since then. Not that he was ashamed of her, but he just didn't want to get her into trouble. He was really starting to care for her and it was new and exciting but it also frightened him a little bit. Maybe he was just being stupid for worrying so much. Either way, he happily agreed to go with her tonight. He even got creative and brought a thick blanket for them to sit on!
After he showered and put a tiny amount of gel in his hair, Jamie got dressed. He wanted to look nice for her so he decided on a black button-up and khaki denim along with a brown leather belt. As he looked in the mirror, he realized that he looked too dressy with the addition of his watch. Do dim it down a little bit, he switched his shoes to something casual, verses the dress ones he had, and he pulled a zip-up jacket over his shirt, leaving it open. He smiled at himself, proud that he was so clever. He checked the time.. almost ready to go.
When he arrived at the place, he was impressed by the setup and it brought a lovely smile to his lips. He quickly found Courtney. "Hey there," He said, holding the two bundles of blankets under his arms. He carried them both under one when she reached out for his hand to lead him wherever they were headed. "I wouldn't have missed it," Jamie said as they walked to a little secluded area. He laid out the blanket and offered her a seat next to him. As they got situated and she was letting him know that she'd brought snacks, he grinned at her thoughtfulness. The thought to bring something to eat hadn't even crossed his mind.
He sat cross-legged with his elbows resting on his knees as she then mentioned the wine that she'd brought. He'd had wine before, well once last New Years when his dad offered him it and then once at a Christmas party that Dani had snuck for them. Jamie wasn't sure if he liked it or not, y'know, the feeling that it brought with it. Like how it made his face warm or made his nose tickle. For now, knowing that he'd have to drive home, he declined her offer in the most polite way he could think of. "Oh, I'm okay. I'm not old enough." He blushed, looking down and then at her. "But I don't mind if you do." He paused and pulled the second blanket over his shoulders. "Is it okay if I say that you look really pretty tonight?" He asked, smiling sweetly. Even just saying that made him all giddy inside!

"I have anything that your hungry little heart could desire." As long as his hungry little heart didn't want anything other than cheese balls and candy but she didn't feel like she needed to mention that to him. He was a teenage boy for goodness sake! How could he not like overly processed junk food that didn't even remotely resembled the food that it was supposed to be like cheese balls which was just basically fake cheese. Did it even contain any cheese at all or was it just like powdered funkiness? She personally didn't really care what it had in it as long as it tasted delicious which is why she was taking sips of her fancy wine and eating them. Well, the wine wasn't that fancy since she got it on sale at Wal-Mart. It wasn't bad for cheap stuff! She wouldn't serve it at a fancy party.. Okay, she would but that wasn't important right now.
It hurt her heart to think that she would never be able to invite him to her couples game nights at her house or bowling games that she went to every single Sunday with her family. She wondered to herself if he thought about those kinds of things, too. A relationship with him was going to be hard.. Harder than anything that she'd ever had to do in her life and she wasn't sure that she wanted to deal with that. Would it even be worth it to give him everything that she had when he could so easily hurt her? She knew in her heart that she wanted him more than anything that she had ever wanted in her life and that scared her. She barely knew him! How could he possibly mean so much to her already? Was he a wizard or something?
"It's more than okay.. Encouraged even." She assured him quietly as she tried to think of a way to verbalize the way that she was feeling right now. What was she even doing? What was she thinking? "Do you know how much that I want to kiss you right now?" It was a bad idea to even suggest that they kiss in public again after the burn blog but she felt sad and she knew what would make her feel better. "I know that it's a big risk if we kiss in public but I really really want to kiss you." She didn't want to live in fear for the rest of her life.

Jamie's heart pounded when she asked if it was a bad thing that she wanted to kiss him. Her words made him blush and he was hopeful that she couldn't see it in the dimming night light. He looked down at the blanket and grinned, "Probably not as much as.." Jamie trailed off as he looked back up to her when she started saying that they probably should be kissing in public. He knew they shouldn't really even be doing anything in public except a casual 'hello' and when he had her class or say her in the hallway. That was the proper teacher-student relationship, not what they were doing. But either way, he didn't care.
There wasn't anyone around, hell, they pretty much had their own little area in these bushes, weather or not they could even see the screen, he didn't care. He just wanted to spend time with his teacher-crush and that was why even came in the first place. Even though Jamie knew no one could see, he looked over his shoulder before turned back to Courtney and he slowly leaned into her. His lips brushed against hers as he supported his weight on his arms. Not wanting it to end, he intensified the kiss but not enough to call it a make out session. He wasn't much like that, but he would be if she wanted him to.
"I'm sorry, I just couldn't hold that in any longer." He laughed softly as he took his previous sitting position. Jamie curled his legs up to his chest, wrapped his arms around then and rested his cheek against his forearm, his eyes glued to Courtney. Was that weird? Or would she think it was cute? He just really wanted to look at her. "I'm sorry I'm staring.. I guess I can't help that either." He said inbetween cute giggles. "You're just so beautiful." Jamie's eyes dropped as his laughs continued, "Aaand I'm the biggest cheeseball ever, oh my gosh." His face got hot again and he felt like crawling into a hole and dying because he was so anxious. He wondered if she was sensing his nervousness yet.

The clumsy, unshaven man there stood a top a hill, silhouetted by the faint glimmer of from the moon light. His brow furrowed as his eyes squinted to see in the darkness. He was easily concealed from the public view, wearing his typical dark colored clothing. Though he was wearing shorts, the atmosphere held the luxury of a pleasant chill. Fumbling in his pocket for a cigarette, he lit one ablaze. Exhaling after a long drag, Jared smiled with contempt. He didn't give a shit about ruining his lungs or whatever, and he would blow the toxic second hand smoke in a strangers face just to be an ass.
Finishing his cigarette, he flicked it over a couples head set up on a blanket having a nice smooch. He couldn't see their faces, but he didn't care. He really did hate all this lovely dovey crap, so when he was given the dare he was totally down for it. Things weren't looking too well for him as far as his love life, but he chose not to think about that at the moment. Instead he'd rather torment the others around him in their happy moments. He smiled a little bit to himself, looking around. His green eyes were wild, and unforgiving. He clapped his hands together annoyingly, lifting his legs as he stomped down the hill. Where to begin?
[Maybe not done. IDK]

Kissing Jamie made Courtney feel like a teenager again! She hadn't felt this excited over a kiss since she was seventeen and stealing kisses from the neighbor boy after he dropped her off at home. She could still remember telling him 'just one more kiss, I don't want to miss curfew' and then ultimately deciding that it was worth whatever punishment that her mother could hand out. It was strange how different that it was now - she could still get in trouble if she got caught giving Jamie just one more kiss but this time she'd be facing possible jail time and not a long boring lecture from her mother. Sane people would stop this before it got to a point of no return. Her lack of consideration for this poor boy's feelings should be appalling to her.
Technically speaking, she was a grown woman who was using a young impressionable boy to spice up her boring life and orally get her off when she desperately needed it in her office. She couldn't possibly commit to him in the ways that she knew in her heart that he would eventually want. She could remember being his age and feeling like that cute older boy who gave her attention actually loved her only to find out that he was using her until he met someone his own age. She didn't intend on hurting this poor guy but she knew logically that there was always a chance that it could happen. She wasn't ready for a serious relationship so soon after getting out of the long-term one with her ex-fiance.
She was still struggling with the knowledge that she was technically supposed to be married right now. She would be living in some snazzy little townhouse not her same old small apartment and maybe they would even be attempting to conceive a child together. She didn't think that she was ready to start a family at twenty-four but that could have easily changed when she was actually put in that situation. He stole her opportunity from her and she had a strong fear in the back of her mind that she would end up taking that resentment out on Jamie even though it was in no imaginable way his fault.
He was too sweet to endure that.. "Shh, I like cheese balls." She mused affectionately as she leaned over to peck him on the forehead. "Never ever let anyone make you feel bad for being open about how you feel, okay?" She felt like he deserved nothing but the best which just wasn't her. "Hey... Random question but do you believe that two people can really fall in love and make it through everything together? Or do you think that it's inevitable that one of them will move on?"
