It was nice to be away from his family for a day, with no one but Bee to keep him company on such a frigid Friday night. This past week had been Finn's first week back to school and he was struggling to get back into the swing of things. It was like the way people looked at him made him feel like they knew everything. It was something that made him extremely uncomfortable so he stayed away from most everyone in the hallways and kept to himself in class. He didn't even raise his hand to so much as answer a question that he knew the answer to.
When one of the teachers pulled him aside after class, her face was extremely concerned. Finn always excelled in her class, so when he didn't even look up from the book in front of him, she obviously became troubled with her favorite student. She asked if he was okay, given that she knew only a flake of his history from what he'd reached out and told her about, but he insisted that he was fine. She knew by his tone and by his averted gaze that he was lying. Those were his giveaways, his tellers.
Now that they were home from school and had done everything that Bee had wanted to, it was nearing the time that Finn generally tried to go to sleep. His medication wasn't helping his state either because as they were sitting there on her couch, Finn's head started to nod until finally, it rested on her shoulder. He was just about to slip into a slumber when he remembered that this wasn't his house and Cooper or Bee, herself, might very easily get mad if he slept anywhere that wasn't a bed. He didn't want to drive home this late, but didn't want to overstay his welcome in case she was tired of him already.
Finn popped his head up and acted like he hadn't almost fallen asleep. With a subtle look, he glancedover and looked at Bee with clearly tired eyes. "I think I'm gonna head home, baby." He said with a groggy voice.

Beatrice didn't have any issue with Finn's family or his house but she was definitely grateful to be back at her own place with her pets. Oreo had nearly peed all over herself when she saw her owner walk into the door and now she was laying perfectly calm at her feet like she was worried that she was going to leave without saying goodbye again. She felt sort of guilty for leaving Cooper to deal with her dog, cat and teacup pig along with his own dog and other responsibilities while she was off spending nights at Finn's but she knew that he had needed her more than the pets did. Cooper assured her earlier that he didn't mind especially when she came home with the ability to cook spaghetti. He didn't need to know that her 'homemade sauce and meatballs' had come from Esme so all she'd really done was boil noodles and pour it in. It was still an improvement in her opinion since there was a time when she could set a pot of water on fire faster than you could say 'call the fire department'.
She was actually feeling sort of tired as well but she didn't want to tell Finn that she was falling asleep because she knew that would make him leave. She'd spent so many nights with him recently that she actually couldn't imagine herself being away from him. How was she going to sleep without the feeling of his body wrapped around hers? She was still amazed by how well that he fit around her. She knew that she was going to sound incredibly co-dependent but she was planning on asking him if he would mind terribly if he spent the night here.. Maybe she could blame the traffic or the fact that it was so dark out right now.
She didn't notice how tired that he looked until he told her that he was heading home.. Was he serious? "Why don't you just stay the night?" She asked in an attempt to sound somewhat casual so he didn't think that he was dating some super clingy girl. "I'm sure that your mother would understand." She assured him as she adjusted on the couch. She was about to try and lead him into her bedroom when Cooper came out and let out a loud, girly screech. "Oh my God! A ghost, Bee!" He was being a little shit and he knew it. She glared at him until he muttered a small apology and headed into the kitchen. "Is he staying here, Beatrice Elaine?" He was obviously trying to play the big brother role which he sort of failed at since he was two years younger and not intimidating.
She actually almost laughed when she heard his next question, "What are your intentions, Finnick?" His intentions? What did they do? Go back to the nineties or something? She was going to tell him to shut up but this was honestly entertaining.

Finn had started to sit up when Bee recommenced that he just stay the night. It was a weekend and he was sure that his mom wouldn't mind. She had, after all, told him that he needed time out of the house so that's what he was going to do. "I don't want to impose.." Finn said just before Cooper walked in the room. He avoided eye contact after his little ghost comment and stared down at his hands in his lap.
Finn hadn't ever been even the slightest fan of Cooper, even before he and Bee were together. They were just two negative ends on a magnet that should never be put together in one place. He learned to just ignore 96% of anything that Bee's brother said and more often than not, take it to heart. Finn stood, now waking up just a little bit. Finn didn't feel welcome in their house when Cooper was around, but he was honestly trying not to let the kid get him down.
When Cooper addressed him and asked what his intentions were, it took everything in him not to say something snappy or sarcastic. Instead, he did one of his worst pet peeves and answered a question with a question. "What are my intentions, Cooper?" Finn asked, with a heavy emphasis on the 'are'. Maybe that was a little too sassy. He really didn't want to feud to have to deal with Cooper right now. He was too exhausted for that, but he was at a stand still within himself. Like.. he wanted to say something that would shut Cooper up for a little while so Bee and himself could sneak off to her room and be all cute and snuggly.
He was glad Bee had offered for him to stay, even if Cooper was there. If he'd gone home, he wouldn't have gotten any sleep without her being there. She'd taken over the healer position in his brain that his mom used to hold. Finn was finally starting to show his trust for her with each day that passed and his feelings were rapidly growing stronger for her. Feeling the urge to bark something awful at Cooper, Finn took Bee's hand to ground himself.

Cooper was clearly taken aback when Finn made such a sassy question comeback to his. "I think that your intentions are to hump my poor innocent sister and dump her.. Maybe not even wait for consent before the humping begins but then you'll dump her for some guy named Carlos." He had quite the imagination when it came to Finn's 'life' or what he thought that his life was.He didn't take the time to get to know the man at all beyond 'this is my new boyfriend, Finn' when the pair had first began dating because he just got a strange vibe from him then all that he heard about him was a complaint when Beatrice was frustrated about his lack of 'affection' or her doubts that he really cared for her. How could anyone blame him for not trusting him? All that he heard about Finn was negative and directly from his sister herself.
"You're not even like a good person but whatever. Don't be too loud because I have work early in the morning." He rolled his eyes before grabbing a bag of chips from the kitchen cupboard and heading back into his bedroom. Beatrice rolled her eyes and returned her attention to her lovely perfect not at all a rapist boyfriend. She was just really glad that Cooper didn't let it slip that she had sort of accidentally told him everything that Finn told her in secret. She'd sworn him to secrecy about it but she knew that he could sometimes be a bit of a blabbermouth. She didn't regret telling him though since she'd made him tell her a secret of his own and she knew how little that he would want that out.
She cleared her throat before reaching for her boyfriend's hand and leading him into her bedroom. She'd done some redecorating before he'd gotten put in the hospital and she couldn't remember if he'd seen it all pretty like this. She let the animals into the room before gently shutting the door and motioning towards her bed. "You can lay down now if you want... I mean... unless you feel up for other things like... other things. Things that Cooper warned us to be quiet about if we do.." She casually moved to her nightstand to make sure that her vibrator was safely tucked away inside of the drawer. She didn't want him to go snooping and discover that she had a giant fake penis in her bedroom. It'd probably just freak him out more than any sexual advance ever could.
She didn't actually know if she even wanted to have sex tonight and she wasn't really in the mood but she wanted to try and make at least one advance every day until he got more comfortable with it. "Or we could just sleep..." She trailed off as she awkwardly crossed her arms over her chest. Why was it to strange to have him in her bedroom right now? She'd slept with him in his room every night without it being uncomfortable.
