Appearance: Addison isn't exactly diesel, but she likes to stay active. She hates to just sit around like a couch potato when it’s beautiful outside. She's pretty toned because she likes to go long distance hiking. She's on the shorter side only being about 5'2", but she's pretty light at 112 pounds. You can find her usually in a pair of wedges or heels if she's not feeling too confident and needs a boost.
She has soft features and kind eyes. Her nose is slightly pointed, slopes upward just a smidge . Her eye brows are set kind of lower with a slight arch. Her eyes are a lovely chocolate brown. Her hair a light brown almost on the verge of being a blonde, and sometimes in the summer it lightens up quite drastically. Her hair is very big and wavy. Addison is always smiling and showing off her pearly whites to the world.
Addison can be found dressed quite nicely. She just likes feeling pretty, so it helps to wear a fancy outfit or two. She loves summer, so you'll usually see in her bright clothes that remind her of her favorite season. She likes leaving her hair it's natural wavy self, but she doesn't shy away from a hair accessory or two that pins it back.
Personality: Addison is adventurous by nature. She doesn’t like sitting still for long. She loves doing anything physically fit, so hiking or going on trails is usually her go to. When she’s in an “adventurous” mood, she tends to get slightly reckless. When she was a child is wasn’t uncommon for things to break in the house while Addison and her sister were playing. She’s pretty fearless when it comes to it. She seeks thrills for the sake of it. She’s the kind of person to walk up to a complete stranger and tries to have a full conversation.
In any given situation, she tries to stay impartial. She doesn’t like to judge others either, learning both sides of an argument before giving her opinion. She likes to give people a chance always, and sometimes even two. Addison also has a sense of loyalty to her friends and to those she loves. She believes in defending their honor. She will also stand by her beliefs and principles, even if it’s not the cool thing to do.
She likes to think of herself as very confident, though sometimes it’s interpreted as cocky. She’s very hard on herself, and pushes herself to be the best. She’s the kind of person who will stay after school to put more work in. She believes it’ll pay off in the end. She's not naturally smart and actually has to work really hard to keep her grades up, and sometimes it can be very frustrating.
Addison had often been described as a class clown of sorts. She goofs off a lot, and knows how to have fun. She’s playful and flirtatious when she wants to be. However, when it comes to the act of sex, she’s actually very shy. She’s a virgin, though she doesn’t like to advertise it. She’s inexperienced when it comes to anything sexual aside from kissing. She tries to stay away from situations that would make her uncomfortable, but she knows sometimes those situations can’t be helped.
Background:
Addison was born a very healthy baby, and do to unfortunate circumstances caused the death of her mother. However, this did not affect the family’s relationship with her. She grew up in a very loving household with her older sister of 5 years. The family did everything normally without a hair in place. Sure, their mother was a sore topic, but things were pretty smooth aside from that. The little family carried on happily with her father easily balancing any financial burden with his own salary from his high paying job.
When Addison was in 6th grade, she had a fight with her sister. It resulted in her being told she was the reason their mother died. The fact that their mother was dead wasn’t a secret, but the cause had always been hidden from Addison. Her sister just blurted it out because she had been so angry at Addison. She was very confused and when she confronted her father about it he finally told her the truth. She was crushed about the idea that she was the reason she didn’t have a mommy. After serious explaining from her father she began to move on from the burden.
As the years progressed Addison accepted it for what it was. Though in the back of her mind she thinks she’s the reason her father hasn’t remarried. It was no secret that he loved her mother so much, and couldn’t bring himself to ‘replace’ her with another woman. He didn’t need someone to make him happy though because he had his two little darling angels that were his world. He enrolled his children when they reached high school to Somerset. He liked the atmosphere and a family friend said it was where his children had gone and were still going.
Addison had settled in quite nicely at Somerset and gained many friends. However, at the end of her freshmen year her father got news he was being transferred to the European office. Her older sister was already out of the house and married, so he didn’t want to ruin Addison’s school experience. He decided that he was going to keep her in the states while he went off to work in another country. Addison was very against it, but he insisted and didn’t exactly give her a choice. When he finally left, she was very lonely. That was when she learned to smile at the world to try to make the best of things.
She’s now enjoying her junior year without much conflict. She gets to visit her father once a month for a weekend, and even longer on breaks. He doesn’t come visit her though because he can’t with the way his work schedule is set up. It doesn’t bother her though, and she makes the best of the times she can spend with him. She does get lonely, but it’s not a depressing lonely. She just misses her dad.
