(( www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=93105060 ))This whole road trip thing had really been a spur of the moment idea that Colette had came up with the previous night so even she wasn't so sure how this whole thing was going to turn out. She and Rachel had spent exactly seven point five seconds discussing the more responsible issues regarding this before coming to the conclusion that it was a perfect idea that they should definitely jump on. She'd borrowed her older brother's van well technically speaking Rachel borrowed it since she was the only one of the two who could legally drive it and the pair set off to the Somerset parking lot. They'd made announcements on both their Facebooks about ten minutes ago asking if anyone was feeling up for a little adventure and now all that they needed to do was wait.. and eat tacos but mostly wait in Colette's case. "So you and Kyle.. Do you think he'll come?"
She was hoping for some legitimate information about what was going on with her friend and that odd man but all that she got was a shrug as she reached for yet another taco. "If you keep eating those like that then we're not going to have any leftover for the others.." The younger blonder of the two reminded with a small sigh as she got out of the passenger side of the van. "I hope that people actually come." If nobody showed up then the duo was just planning on making this a special girls trip around the surrounding areas so it wasn't a total loss either way but she definitely thought that more people would equal out to more fun plus this thing looked like a bitch to fill up with gas. She was hoping that if they went along with others than someone would be able to chip in for some gas or snacks since apparently the tacos weren't going to last as long as expected.
"Colette, why don't you relax? I'm sure people will come.. I included that we have glitter and tacos." Oh bless her heart for thinking glitter would be a motivational tool. She didn't have the heart to tell her that it probably wouldn't work and that bribing with money would probably have been a better choice but how pathetic would that be? Who pays someone to be their friend? Other than like say Barbie of course.

Rachel couldn't wrap her head around why Colette was so nervous about this whole thing! What did it matter if other people didn't join them? They had each other, glitter and a bag full of tacos! That was almost as good as having a pocket full of sunshine. Yeah, she'd been listening to that song on repeat for the most hour or so and she could probably very easily recite every single lyric if someone asked her to for some strange reason. Maybe that would get them people to come along! She was about to suggest that they start singing when Colette started off on yet another little rant about how she didn't think that anyone was going to come and what a waste of time that this was turning out to be.
She didn't want to interrupt the whining so she simply returned to her taco and gasped when she saw what her hot sauce was telling her. "Colette! Colette! Look!! It's a sign from the Taco Bell gods that we're supposed to go on this trip regardless of what other people do." That didn't mean that she wasn't hoping for Kyle to show up though because she totally was. She needed to show him her new necklace! She had a feeling that he was going to appreciate it more than anyone else that she'd shown so far since he really seemed to feel her love of tacos on a deep spiritual level. "I know that you don't think anyone is going to come but you really need to be more of a fairy." She was all about the fairy thing lately.
But really - who has ever met an unhappy fairy? Other than maybe Tinkerbell but she was pretty sure that didn't count and it was more than likely all an act, right? How could someone as adorable as her ever be grumpy? Colette was looking almost as cranky as Tinkerbell but Rachel chose not to let it bum her out at all. Why would she contribute negative energy to an already negative situation? That'd just be no help at all.

www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=93232828She let out another breath and watched the smoke swirling out of her mouth, and then crushed the burnt out cigarette under the toe of her boot. She had leaned against the building freezing her butt off with her brown hair up in a messy bun, and her bangs hanging in her left eye. She had forgotten the weather when she decided to wear a top that showed off her stomach, and ended up trying to cover up the mistake by pulling on a jacket over it. She had her headphones in her ears, and she was playing some bowling for soup song. She had heard about the trip from her facebook but at first wasn't sure about it. She eventually decided that she was going to jump at the chance to do something fun and crazy and go in search of this Colette girl, she had seen her before since they were both on cheer, which she had also learned from facebook, and she stalked her pictures, and recognized her face. So it was easy to say that they could probably, and might be friends, and that this was going to be some sort of fun. So when she walked up to the van, she knocked on the window, and of course stood there freezing as she waited for Colette to roll it down so that they could talk, and greet. Which was a great thing to do through a window. She smiled and looked at the van, this was actually kind of cool and exciting, she had never been on a road trip before.

Well, a road trip sounded like a fun way to get out of school, so he was definitely going to go for it. He didn't really know Colette that well, but he knew Rachel from James' class, and ended up stalking Colette on facebook, just to find out that she was like a mini Esme, or she was in his mind anyway. That was cool, because he liked Esme as a friend, so he could probably tolerate spending that long in a car with her, and maybe with other people. He knew that he could probably tolerate Rachel as well, but he wasn't so sure about the glitter thing though.
He knew that Rachel liked glitter, but it made him laugh to think that she had thought that was going to get people to come, maybe if she sprinkled it down like fairy dust. It would kind of looks pretty, but was it really magical? Well not really. So after doing some facebook stalking and seeing who was going he decided that he might as well just go, and at least it mean not going to school. So that was good right? When he walked up to the van he was surprised by the way it looked, and the girl standing outside. He remembered her. they hooked up once or twice, or multiple times, or maybe that was the other girl... before carol.
He didn't really know what to say, but she seemed like she was freezing, so he opened the door and let her get in the van. At least she wouldn't freeze to death, that was good right. "I don't know how I feel about this van," he said with a chuckle. "Well I mean as long as you don't drive like Carol too, then this should be fun," he didn't really mean to keep comparing them but she really did look like her, and it was kind of scary. "I'm sure you're a better driver though," he said with a nod in her direction. That was when Mollie rolled her eyes.
"Everyone is a better driver then her," he knew that she was talking about her accident, but he ignored her stupid comment and took a seat next to her. Maybe she wasn't all that bad.

Colette nearly let out a literal cheer when she noticed that someone was actually walking up to the van. Most people would be moderately disappointed that it was only one person but she was choosing to be happy about even one person coming. Would she prefer enough people to fill the van? Of course! But she wasn't going to let that ruin her trip or her road trip experience especially since she had Rachel and now Mollie joining her. She nudged Rachel to get her to stop eating her damn taco and pay attention before she saw that Mollie was waiting for her to roll down the window so they could talk.
"Hey Mollie! Rachel, do you know Mollie? Whatever.. Like anyway... Mollie, Rachel.. Rachel, Mollie." She didn't want to spend too much time on introductions and Rachel had a mouth full of taco anyway. Was she really not planning on saving any of those for anyone else? "The doors are open if you want to get out of the cold." She couldn't judge her for her less than winter appropriate outfit since she was wearing a literal dress (granted it was a sweater dress) and a pair of tights. She had her North face jacket beside her but the heater in the van was keeping her toasty enough that she didn't really feel like she needed it. The last thing that she wanted to do was have a freaking heatstroke and not be able to enjoy this.
She was about to ask if Mollie was hungry when she spotted Wyatt coming over and she actually lost her train of thought. Where was she going with that? She didn't really know Wyatt but she didn't have an issue with him. She wasn't going to do something stupid like hit on him and risk her potential relationship with Alan which was currently all inside of her head. She didn't even know if he liked her as a friend or not! All that she knew was that all of the projects that they did together had been so enjoyable and he sort of made her heart flip and she got butterflies in her poor stomach.

Rachel didn't mean to hog all of the tacos! She hadn't set out on this trip with the mindset that she was going to eat a good five tacos before they even got on the road so she didn't see why anyone would hold it against her. If they'd wanted food that badly than they should have just showed up sooner. She wasn't actually going to say that out loud but she'd certainly think it every time that someone mentioned her eating habits well if anyone cared to. "I told you that the glitter would work." She muttered with a small sigh once she saw Mollie walking towards the van. Had they ever met? She thought that she looked familiar but maybe she'd just seen her walking around.
She sort of stopped paying attention while Colette talked to Mollie and was only taken out of her daydreaming when she heard Wyatt mention that he hoped that she was a better driver than his ex-girlfriend. Had Carol also been a bad driver on top of all of the other flaws that she apparently had? It was sort of strange judging someone that she'd never even met. She didn't have any strong feelings either way regarding miss Maree due to that but she did wonder what kind of person that she must have been for everyone to be so against her. Hadn't Esme Russel given her daughter her name as her middle name? She just didn't understand how someone could be so disliked by so many people. She'd even heard someone call her a fascist dictator!
"I'm a fabulous driver, Wyatt!" She assured him before looking to the bag of tacos currently in her lap. Should she offer some up or selfishly keep them away from the others? She finally decided to not be rude and tell everyone about the deliciousness that she currently had in her lap. "Hey~ are you guys hungry? We got some tacos and there's a bag of other road trip snacks back there like chips, cookies.. sodas, you guys know what I mean. I think there's some candy back there, too."

"this is a nice van," he said. Trying to say something, because that whole comment about Carol hadn't really done him any good.
"It looks like a nice place to have sex," Mollie said. Which maybe it was, you could spread out a blanket and stuff in the back and then spend the night in the back of it. You could travel the world.
"Nah, everyone would totally know what was going on," he figured that it would probably end up being one of those things where you were in a dark alley having sex in a car, everyone that walked by would know what you were doing, and it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Carol had a thing for fucking in public places though, which was weird because he had pretty much turned her into that. How he didn't know, but that was not the point.
"Oh yay food!" Mollie changed the subject from sex, and turned to look at the two girls. "This is gonna be fun, and if it's not at least I get free food!" she probably sounded more excited then she should have been for that, but free food was always exciting.
