Erik was surprised when Jamie said that he had literally unpacked and then just headed straight for the park. If it were him, he would have spent the day wandering around campus and trying to get a feel for his surroundings. Heck, he would probably try to make new friends and get in touch with his teachers. However, that was just him. Since Jamie said he had changed schools a lot, Erik figured that he was used to this. "Only five months per school? Man." Erik breathed, almost impressed but rather blown away by the idea of it. "You planning on staying here for a while?" he asked, interested. He actually kind of liked this kid.
"Yeah, I know, the dorms get lonely." He shrugged. Though he had never had a room mate, he lived for a long time with his sister just down the hall. With no one to talk to or spend time with while he was at Somerset, it was kind of boring. "If your bed feels empty..." Erik winked, trying to make Jamie laugh. Then again, that was probably too flirty. Blushing, he wondered if he had over stepped a line. "I'm kidding - I just meant we should hang out. Maybe. If you don't think I'm a total creep already."

'Yeah, five months was the longest, but mostly it was never longer than three, and I was home Schooled a lot in between', Jamie replied, 'I'm staying here until Senior year 'cause I figured that I might as well get some sort of an education while I can', he continued, nodding to himself. For some reason he didn't mind opening up and telling Erik all of this, and he usually did with new people. 'Plus Somer has this like, tutor program thing to teach people to read', he rolled his eyes and smirked, 'So yeah, I'm gonna do that'.
At Erik's joke Jamie felt his face grow hot not sure if he was joking at first, but when he said he was he just laughed it off, 'Yeah, no, dude you seem pretty great', he smiled.
