"Sounds good," Erik smirked, parting his lips slowly to allow Jamie to put the cigarette between his teeth. Something about it felt kind of sexy, which was a thought that he didn't want in his mind. He had just met this guy! He watched as the lighter clicked it's way to making a big enough flame to light him. He waited patiently until it caught, then breathed in deeply, slowly letting the smoke out through his teeth. He plucked the cigarette from his mouth, still grinning as wide as the Cheshire cat as he handed it over to Jamie. It was different from the kind of smokes he normally had. There was a different taste, a sort of flavor he began to associate his new found acquaintance with.
"Thank you," he muttered, glancing up at the clouds. They were dark and ominous, their bellies full with water, he could tell. Typically he would be heading for the hills at times like these. How he hated storms when it came to being out in the open. They were beautiful to look at and listen to, but dangerous. There was an electricity in the air and a wind that chilled him to the bone. He took out his camera, snapping a few shots of the sky before he caught the top of a tree house in his shot. Narrowing in on it, he nodded slowly, having found his new subject. "Care to take a walk?" he invited Jamie, pointing towards the tree house, which was just down the path.

Jamie gripped the cigarette tightly between his fingers. The wind was picking up and he really didn't want it to escape. When Erik suggested they walk towards the tree house Jamie nodded eagerly. The sight of it actually made him a bit giddy, the nicotine rush helped too.
'Tree house, cool', he said passing back the cigarette, 'Did you know it was there? Are you even from around here? Like, I hate to sound cliche but, do you come here often?', he laughed, spinning on his heel so he was walking backwards his eyes on Erik.

Erik accepted the cigarette when it was passed back to him, inhaling the toxins willingly. Just one more way for him to destroy himself. He kind of thought of it as poetic to smoke a cigarette. You were dancing with danger, on the edge of death and harmless fun. Taking a few drags, he positioned it between his teeth and suddenly bent to crouch, getting into position to take a picture of the tree house. The way he shot it, he got the entirety of the tree trunk up to the very top of the tree house, where dark clouds circled it. It was definitely an interesting shot.
"Hey, want to climb up there and be a model?" He teased, talking around the cigarette. "Yeah, I'm from a school just down the road. But I haven't really been here before." He smiled, shaking his head. "I don't come here often. Do you?"

'Yeah sure!', Jamie replied, eager to get in to the tree house. Looping his thumbs through his belt loops he gave his hips a little shake working his jeans back up to his hips. They had a habit of slipping down so his underwear was on show, gangster style. No sooner had he ran to the base of the tree his bright pink underwear was on show once again. Jamie noticed but decided to ignore the fact, he figured he had a pretty cute butt anyway.
The ladders were no more than planks of thick wood nailed to the trunk of the tree. Luckily there were only a dozen to get through before he was emerging in to the house itself. It had a sort of balcony going around the outside of the house which Jamie wandered out on to giving Erik a bow and a little wave.
'I just got here today so, no', Jamie replied having just remembered Erik asked him something, 'Do you mean Somerset 'cause that's the School I've just started at. I just moved here from ... Well, I just moved here', he was having to shout over the wind now.

Erik couldn't help it - his eyes were typically downcast, so he just happened to be looking in that direction when Jamie shifted his pants up his hips. That little shake was so promiscuous that Erik almost said something, but he decided that he needed to keep his comments to himself. They weren't that close of friends just yet! He smiled, his quirky little half grin, and watched Jamie scramble up the tree trunk, managing the twelve planks of wood with ease. Erik couldn't really do that - he was always too careful to climb that fast. He would be stopping every three ladder rungs to check his camera and pull up his pants and maybe even comb his hair. Sure, his looks weren't everything, but he didn't want to flash the world his underwear (which Jamie seemed comfortable with) even though that was the style. In fact, he tended to have only a little bit of the top of his boxers showing in his jeans, but that's it.
He crouched to take a few pictures, yelling up all the while. "So you just got here today? That's pretty cool." He said, just to throw something out there. He didn't really care about facial expression or body language in his pictures. He wanted it to be natural, to capture whatever emotion was in his eyes or whatever feelings he might have crossing his face. "Yeah, I got to Somer. I'll show you around campus, if you need." He offered with a smile. That's when the first few drops of rain started. Scowling at the sky, he leaned back to take a few pictures, then frowned as water beaded on his lense.
"Make room!" he called, beginning to climb.

'There's plenty of room, have you seen me?', Jamie shouted down, sitting down on the balcony his legs dangling over the edge getting splattered by large drops of rain that were coming down faster and faster from the dark sky. Wow, New York weather was kind of unpredictable. Jamie adjusted his hat messing around with his long bangs trying to make them stay out of his eye though it was damn near impossible.
'Enough room for you?', Jamie laughed as Erik emerged in to the house itself. It was surprisingly roomy, which made Jamie think that it was probably made by kids their age rather than by a dad for some little kids. Chances are it was made by the city, giving back to the people or whatever, because it was a pretty sweet house, though very empty. If Jamie thought there was any chance of it not being stolen he'd be tempted to bring some furniture for the place. Maybe there would be a tree on campus he could build a house in, that'd be cool.
'Get any good pictures?', Jamie asked.

Erik had to chuckle, finally making his way to the top of the tree. He climbed under the railing, sitting next to Jamie to mimic him, with his feet hanging off of the side. It was sort of dangerous, to sit so precariously, but all Erik could think of was what a great picture it would be. He could see it in black and white, just their knees and legs and feet, dangling over the edge, with the ground so far below. Slap an inspirational quote on there and it would be fit for tumblr! He almost laughed out loud at that, but decided to keep it to himself, and just smiled as he took a picture with the camera pointed straight down, for full effect.
"Yeah, there's tons of room. What do you weigh, man? Nothing?" he teased, lightly - and very carefully - poking Jamie in the side. He took another drag on the cigarette, breathing deeply before he handed it back to Jamie. With his hands free of the cig, he could pack up his camera in the protective case he always had with him - for occasions like these. He didn't want to ruin it by getting it rained on or anything. On accident, his knee brushed against Jamie's as he settled into his seat with a sigh. He blushed, but nodded. "It's a pretty big tree house - I'd say we both fit."
He paused when Jamie asked about pictures. He'd already packed his camera away, so he couldn't really show him without awkwardly taking it out and then putting it back. "Yeah, got some good shots." He said finally, shrugging. He wasn't going to bother with boring Jamie with his pictures. "If you don't mind, I'll probably post them on Facebook or something." He paused, smirking. "You could friend me, and then comment on all of my pictures and tell everyone how amazing I am."

'Yeah, I dunno not much', Jamie replied with a shrug, he had no idea how much he weighed but he knew he was no taller than 5'4. It was pretty embarrassing but he knew that he could fit in a locker without too much discomfort.
'I will, I'll like all the pictures with me in them at least', Jamie replied with a grin, 'Whats your last name? Mine's Rhodes. R-h-o-d-e-s. In case you wanna friend me', he turned to Erik and winked.

"Jamie Rhodes - I like that name." Erik complimented, already making a mental note to use it in a story. He couldn't help it, he just loved unique names. "It's Donally. D-o-n-a-l-l-y." He spelled it out for him with a genuine smile. He actually enjoyed the sound of his own name. It sounded kind of perfect, in his mind. "Sure, I'll friend you." he laughed, knowing they probably sounded ridiculous. "So how do you like Somerset so far?"

'Donally', Jamie nodded and smiled, knowing that he'd probably forget. Names didn't really stick with him that well, especially not last names. Faces he was great with, just not names, unless he happened to have a really cool nickname for the person, he usually remembered that.
'Well I dunno dude, I literally unpacked and came here', Jamie replied tossing the cigarette out in to the rain, 'It's gonna be weird though 'cause I'm here until Senior year and like, I've never been at one School for more than five months so it's weird you know?', he sighed and leaned back against the railings.
'And my dorm just seems really empty...', he added, for some reason he felt a little sentimental, 'Like, I basically grew up in a van with all my families shit like crammed in there, now I've got this room all to myself and it seems huge to me', he laughed.
