Full Name: Owen Asher Cup. To friends and students, he likes to go by Cuppy. Of course he'll answer to Mr. Cup and even to Owen.. but he really likes when people call him Cuppy. He'll never refer to himself as that, though. Always Owen or, if called for, Mr. Cup.
Age: 29, born on April first. He has tendency to schedule tests on his birthday then yell "april FOOLS its my birthday there's no way we're testing."
Classes Taught/ Clubs Sponsored: Sociology and Art. He teaches morning sociology classes and afternoon art classes. He's also the head of the makeup/costume department here at Somerset.
Appearance: Owen is tall, standing at six foot two, and weighing in quite healthily. He works very hard to keep in shape, and it shows, honestly. His hair is a dark brown and awfully curly so he keeps it short with very slight bangs. He's kind of in love with his eyes: they're a ridiculously brilliant blue and he's almost always wide-eyed. His nose is a little big, but he thinks its fine because it matches his eyes. His mouth, on the other hand, is kinda little. Not that it matter, because its kind of hidden by a beard and mustache anyway.
Something interesting about Owen is the amount of tattoos he has. With two full sleeves, an upper chest pieces, two hip pieces and a small shoulder blade piece, its safe to say he's pretty covered. However, he was smart about getting them because with a long sleeved shirt, they can all be covered. There's one that sticks out just a bit near his neck, but its barely noticeable. Everything else can be completely shielded if he has to be 'professional' with a parent/teacher conference or something. Also every first day, he covers up just to not scare any kids out of his class.
At work, he dresses pretty professionally. He'll never come to school in just a tee shirt because tattoos like his are not acceptable for someone holding a position like his. Sure he'll roll up his sleeves now and then, but he will never come to school in a flat out short sleeved shirt. Jeans, though, as casual as they are, are often on his legs. Jeans and khakis. He's not a fan of suit pants or generally 'nice' pants. Same for shoes. He doesn't like fancy shoes. He has a couple pairs again for conferences and such, but usually he'll rock Sperry's or even sneakers. Basically, from the waist down, he's laid back. Waist up, he at least tries to be professional. Sometimes.
Personality:
- Silly: It is very rare that you will catch Owen in a serious mood. Catch him in one, and you're probably in deep shit. But that's a very rare occurrence; Owen likes to stay happy. He makes weird faces weird noises, uses odd voices and is just an all around goofball. Most students really like this about him because he kind of just acts like a kid in class. Sure he's 'mature' and can handle his classroom, its not like its all willy nilly (all the time, anyway). But he's cool, man. He's chill. Owen doesn't wanna seem like the guy in a suit and tie with a stick shoved up his ass while he stands there lecturing you. He, personally, hated school and vowed to become a teacher to change that experience for children. So here he is, being real and teaching not just the gen eds, but little life lessons. He hopes that by being his crazy, silly self, you can learn to open up to trying new things. Like, in his class, open up to the fact that not all teachers wanna bore you to a snore. He's all about positive energy and get ready to experience some the minute you step into his classroom.
- "Cool": Owen is that kind of guy that is just.. cool. Everyone has had that one person in their life, probably older than them, where they're just so cool you can't even talk. You thought you were funny? Nope, not around them. They're funnier than you'll ever be and that's intimidating, isn't it? You thought you had witty comebacks? Well golly, not in their presence. I don't want to say he's intimidating, over all anyway, but he's just got that aura about him that screams 'suave'. He knows what he's doing. He's had twenty nine years to not be a loser. And honestly, he's good at not being a loser. Sure get him with the right people and get enough beer in him and he's right back to being a complete idiot.. But generally, he's just a really cool person.
- Hard Working: A lot of people might think Owen would be a very lazy person. I don't know why, but most people just assume he's one of those "fuck da police, life is whatever, i do what i want" kind of guys. Well that might be because he pretends to be like that.. but only for a good laugh. He's actually very aware of responsibilities and such and when it comes time to do something important, he does it. This is probably the main trait that made the administrators at Somerset look past the fact that he's basically a walking piece of art with the mannerisms of a four year old. Because behind all that, he's a no shit kind of guy. What's work is work and what's play is play. Will he incorporate the two to make things more interesting? No doubt about it. But will he ever forget that the true point of his job is to teach? No. Never. Owen has a job (that he loves), and he's going to do it.
- Creative: One would hope, seeing as he's an art teacher and a costume/makeup director. But no really, he's quite creative. He's got a lot of new ideas and is always thinking about ways to make the next play bigger and better. Painting is his main deal, especially oil. He's also done some pretty fantastic SFX work and has a long lost dream of becoming a head SFX artist for Hollywood Horror films. He makes a mean zombie. But Owen's creativity is not limited to legit art like painting. He's also very creative as a teacher. This is one of the main reasons he got into Sociology. Owen is always thinking of new ways to introduce a subject; something fun, something captivating and something different. He doesn't wanna be the teacher that reads from a book and prints off work sheets out of the class-issued workbook. He makes his own projects, his own tests, his own everything. And yes, he calls it 'The Owen Theory'.
- High Maintenance: And this is where many people think Owen is gay. Well, if they were to stereotype. Owen is very particular about the way he looks and the way he lives. He'd call it OCD, but most people just call it 'showing his feminine side'. In the morning, he needs a good hour to get ready. Hair (beard included), wardrobe, scent, hygiene, everything. His outfit will take the longest, followed by his hair. And around his house? Damn, if you move something and don't put it back, he might shoot you. Everything has a place and he keeps it there. Also, the decor in his house is flawless. Looks like it came out of a magazine. Honestly, Owen just likes to pamper himself. Yes, he will often visit the spa.
- Charming: Owen knows how to woo you. Be it with his words or his eyes, the man has got some serious swagger. He knows how to smile at you, how to look at you, how to hold you and how to keep you. He's got a great sense of chivalry and certainly keeps his manners in check. Owen would hate if people thought of him as a mean or rude person. He'd especially hate if someone thought he was 'creepy'. Owen is all about first impressions, especially with someone he's got his eye on.

Other: Owen has a dog named Webster. Its a bulldog mix.
Owen likes to do silly voices, but only has like.. three he's good at. But I mean, the three he can do are pretty darn funny.
He tries not to swear when in class. Like, he'll substitute foods in for swears usually. "AW COCONUTS" is a common one. Also "well NUGGETS."
Owen's favorite color is purple.
As far as he's concerned, he's done with tattoos.
On that note, his mom and dad hate all of his tattoos.
Owen has four siblings: and older sister named Gwen (33), an older brother named Trent (32), a younger brother named Carson (21) and a younger sister named Abby (17). Abby is his favorite; she really looks up to him.
He's good at singing, but hates to sing in front of people.
He knows ever word to "One Day More" and "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Mis.
Owen is French, primarily, and originally from Columbus, Ohio.
Owen is bisexual and tho he finds himself more attracted to males, he's actually been with more females.
