Name: Jude Zephyr Chisholm. We don’t talk about his middle name, because he thinks it’s dumb as fuck.
Age: Sixteen
Gender: Male
Grade: Sophomore
Sport/club: Orchestra… He plays Cello.
Appearance: I'l get to it eventually ^^
Personality: Jude is not the kind of guy that will start conversations with people, even though he loves having them he won’t start them, part of him is too shy to start a conversation and another part doesn’t want to be judged, That might be why he tends to blend into the crowd and stick to the background, he doesn’t mean to, but he does. He grew up in a house with four siblings all competing for the attention of their parents and he tended to be the kid that didn’t get it. He was the kid that was supposed to be mature and do things on his own, and he did.
It wasn’t like his parents didn’t try to be there for his little league games, and his concerts, but there was always some excuse, and it wasn’t on purpose. He felt ignored and so he started acting out, and eventually realized that wasn’t the way to do things, so he just kind of withdrew from society. He learned how to make music, and he learned the wonders of smoking, and cutting. Jude is really a happy person these days for the most part he can smile at you and act like he likes you, he can joke around with you and tell you that he’s happy, and then something comes and fucks it up and he’s back at square one.
He can be that guy that is funny, and random, and witty, and on the outside he is. He tries to be that person, and he likes that person, but something, something inside of him tells him that none of it matters and that he doesn’t deserve it, the attention, and the friends. He’s always felt invisible and like he doesn’t matter to people that was something he could never get over. So when people are nice to him, he of course accepts it, but he ends up doubting them, in the end he doesn’t know what to do with them, compliments, acceptance. He uses his sarcasm and witt and sense of humor as a an escape.
He might not believe that people are being nice to him, but part of him never wants other people to feel the way he feels, so he is nice to everyone, that girl sitting alone at lunch, he’ll be the one to sit with her, even if she doesn’t want to talk. He’ll be the one to say hi to that girl that is always sitting in the corner reading, and he’ll be that person to partner up with the one no one wants because he knows the feeling. He doesn’t like to let people go through that, so he puts himself away and is nice to them. He doesn’t need people to be nice to him for him to be nice to other people. He is like a big teddy bear and you can come talk to him whenever you want.
He’s a good listener and a good cuddler, he will cuddle you to death. Ok not really but he really likes to cuddle, he really cares about people, more then he cares about himself sometimes, and that is a bit depressing. He puts everyone before himself, and he doesn’t mind doing it. He actually likes it. He doesn’t care for himself, and he doesn’t think he’s a valuable member of society, but other people are and he needs to help them. He might still hurt himself, but he doesn’t want other people to, and although it seems a little hypocritical, he just needs someone to help him. He doesn’t like to talk about himself, or to accept help, but he really needs it. Jude needs someone to make him realize that he can’t help other people without helping himself first.
History: Her mother was a free spirit she never finished high school, ran off into the might with her boyfriend and married young. She had a son before she was eighteen, and being pregnant with him really changed her a great deal. She was an artist, and played music at a coffee shop, the usual. She drank and did drugs more then she wanted to admit, so when her first son was conceived she was surprised, she was only seventeen years old, and dropped out of high school, trying to make a living for herself with her boyfriend, who later became her husband.
She decided to get a job, and ended up working as a waitress and a stripper, while her husband declared that he wanted to go back to school, and make something of his life. Their first son Aspen Marley was born on the way to the hospital, and that was when, her mother, Jill, found something to help her get through tough times. She found herself, getting a new job, and going to church, for the first time in her life she believed in something. She had something to believe in.She started to adapt the religion and quit her job at the strip club because she was only allowed by her religion to wear modest things. She instead worked her other job and focused on raising her son, and working on her paintings. She also worked on her music, and tried to find a mix between everything.
By the time she was pregnant again, this time with twins Acacia, and Jude, she was making a pretty good living performing at small shows, and working as a waitress. She sold a few paintings, and her husband was helping out with his job while he went to school, although it was difficult they were actually doing it, and this was what she had dreamed of. It was almost two years later from her first child that the twins were born on September tenth nineteen ninety seven.
They were the pride and joy of her life, because she had really wanted a daughter, and now she had one. For a few years the family worked hard to get everything they needed and they worked hard to make it work, but eventually, Joseph, finished school, and got a job working for a business of a friend from school. At first it was unsuccessful, but eventually they became the founders of a successful business, and the family was well off all of a sudden.
By the time the twins were six years old it was no longer tough times for the family, even though their parents still raised them to believe in the value of a dollar. Jude wasn’t the most fun child to be around. He felt like he was in the background more than before when his mother started worrying about his sister not following the religion that she wanted her to, and he kept to himself spending nights in his room. It felt like his parents never really had time for his little league games and concerts, they never went to any of them, even though they tried something always came up. It wasn’t like they were the most supportive parents in the world anyway, but they were there for Ash when he won that award, or Cay when she made it to the art show in second grade. He felt ignored and shoved into the background, even though they didn’t do it on purpose.
Six years after the birth of her twins Jill found out she was once again pregnant with another daughter. She happily brought Harley Saige into the world on the Fourth of July two thousand and three. After that, the family decided to make the move from their small city home in Chicago to a small town in north Carolina where they lived for almost seven years before eventually moving back to the city, to New York.
Jude tried as a kid to act out and get attention, but all that did was nothing, his parents told him to do better and sent him on his way, so instead he just became withdrawn and depressed. He smoked, he hurt himself and he did it often, and now he still does even though he is a little bit happier here with his family and friends he still needs those things in his life, to help him get through tough times. Sometimes he’ll have a good day, someone will say something terrible to him and he’ll end up hurting himself, he’ll end up thinking, staring at that bottle of pills wondering how many he should take. No one has caught him yet, and he hasn’t done anything terrible to himself, but maybe someday he will, or maybe someone will save him first.
