Beatrice and Bo had dated for approximately a month and two days before they'd broken things off and it'd been a strange adjustment from being his girlfriend to really hardly talking anymore. It wasn't that she had some deep down resentment for them breaking up or anything because it'd been, for the most part, a very clean mutual split based on the fact that they thought they were better suited friends than lovers but what if they had made a mistake? What if they were really just made for each other? She didn't know if she really believed in that whole soul-mate non-sense but maybe she and Bo were the closest that two people could be to being perfect for each other.
She'd been drowning her sadness out in McDonald's chicken McNuggets and French fries so she had just gotten home from a fast food run a couple of minutes ago and was finally settling down on the couch with her delicious fattening meal.. Hell, she'd gained a pound and a half which she knew she was going to eventually have to work off if she ever wanted to have another boyfriend or sex ever again not that sex was really that important.. Most guys couldn't quite figure out what to touch and what to stroke and what you just never ever bite down on, yeah that was an awkward story.
"King Twinkie, do you like your chicken nuggets?" She had purchased him a kid's meal which came with a pink feathery toy that she was going to let him have if he ate at least half of his meal like a good cat mother would do, of course. He had already ate three of his six chicken nuggets so she didn't think that he was going to have any issues with his fries which she knew from experience that he loved.. It was really no wonder that the cat was going on fifteen pounds already much to the dismay of her current veterinarian but he was perfectly healthy... just big.
It was actually a tad lonely just sitting at home watching the Duggar family reproduce like rabbits and talking to her cat but what was she suppose to do? Call Bo? No! That'd be.. that'd be a silly choice, right? She was tempted to call him but she knew that he wouldn't want to be with her again and calling him would only serve to make her miserable especially if he was in a new relationship already.

Bo wasn't sure what he was doing. Well, he was. He knew exactly what he was doing. But he wasn't completely sure why. Breaking up with Bee had been basically mutual, that much was true. He was sure that she'd agreed that they made better friends. But Bo had had two reasons for breaking up with her: One was for the exact same reason as her: they just made better friends. Two, though, was the thing keeping him from ringing her doorbell right away: she was fucking nuts. And it was true, Bee was literally crazy. But the part that had convinced him to come today was the fact that he was just about as, if not more, nuts than she. In all honesty, they were perfect for each other. If Bo was a girl, he'd be her. And if Bee was a boy, she'd be him. They were made for each other. But he still stood on the fence as to whether or not he wanted to do this. He.. he did want to do this. But.. aw, fuck. Before coming, Bo had gone to the market and purchased a bouquet of pink roses. Pink was one of her favorite colors. In his dorm he'd been keeping a fish for her.. but he figured that wasn't an appropriate way to ask her back. Which was saying a lot, really, because Bo had never been someone to think things through. He was in a pair of tan cargo shorts today paired with a gray wife beater that made him look pretty buff. His lucky gray Jordan sneakers were tied loosely over his feet and a red snapback was hanging backwards off of his head just barely covering his poofy mess of yellow hair. Shifting the roses between his hands, Bo took a deep breath and knocked on the door. { www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=71708625 }

Bee hadn't been expecting anyone to come by so she was tempted to just assume that it was someone annoying and not answer the door but it was like a pull.. A strong gravitation pull like she was a magnet to the door and she just couldn't not answer it on the off chance that it was someone important. What if it was Esme having some sort of a crisis? Or Cooper complaining more about Carol? Or Lorelai whining about how she was always in the shadow? She was the best big sister that she could possibly be and that meant that she had to be there for her siblings even when she didn't exactly want to. She picked her food up and placed it on the counter before stepping over to the door; if she had known that it was Bo on the other end then she would have at least set her hair down or put on some lip gloss since she was answering in her cupcake night shirt and matching slippers. How lazy did she look? She was in her pajamas and watching the Duggars while eating McDonalds.. Great.
"Hey um.. Bo.." She greeted weakly as she tried to smooth out the sides of her shirt... This was when she noticed that he had pink roses and she couldn't help but smile; was he here to do some dashing like give her flowers and ask her to be his girlfriend again? "Um... Do you wanna come in and talk?" She was going to pretend that there was absolutely no chance that he was there simply to ask her if some other random girl would be impressed by flowers. She was just surprised that he hadn't brought a fish since that's what he had given her for their one month anniversary which she thought was both unique and adorable now that she thought about it... She was going to miss those unexpected things.
They hadn't had the stereotypical romance where they bought each other flowers and chocolates and that was okay with her - she didn't want to be with someone who gave her roses every single day just because she was breathing! She would much rather have a fish or a little stuffed unicorn much to Esme's dismay who believed that she needed to raise her expectations and demand romance in her relationships. Was it really so bad that she didn't want that kind of non-sense? Not every woman dreams of being Cinderella!
She moved out of the way of the door and pulled Bo inside before realizing that she really did need to know what it was that he was here for. If he said that he was here to ask about another girl.. She wouldn't know how to react.

Bo smiled and let out an awkward squeak when Bee opened the door. He was holding the flowers at his side like they weren't even flowers at all. They were completely sideways, practically upside down. When she moved aside, though, he pulled them up before her and walked in. "Bee," he said softly, sweetly. It was a refreshing change up to his usual obnoxious self. "Bee. I miss you," he said, inching towards her. He was so bad at speaking and this was proving to be way more difficult than he'd expected. Even if he had pre-written his entire speech to her in his head. But it was blurring now.
Out of pure confusion bliss, Bo stepped forward again, placed a hand behind Bee's head and pulled her lips to his. It was a short kiss, but definitely passionate. On his end, at least. When he let his head fall back, the roses were held out before him again. "You like pink, right?" he asked in a strange tone. That definitely wasn't the thing to say after kissing your ex.
But that was just it. He didn't want to be her ex anymore. He wanted to be back with her. No matter how psychopathic and insane she was. Because no matter what she was, he wanted her to be his.

Bee raised a brow when he kissed her, what in the world was he doing? She kind of figured that he was trying to ask her to be back with her but she didn't exactly want to assume anything so she just nodded slowly to answer his question and pressed her lips against his once again. What did this all mean? What if she was wrong and he didn't want her back? Her mind was flooded with a thousand different questions and she couldn't focus on any one of them to ask. Part of her wanted to talk but the other side of her just wanted to continue kissing for the next couple of minutes until they felt like they were going to pass out if they didn't take a breath.. Kissing Bo gave her tingles in her stomach and she just felt like this great warmth came over her body all at once. She wasn't sure entirely what that meant but she did know that she wanted to keep kissing him for as long as she possibly could.
"Do you...." She fiddled with his shirt and bit down on her bottom lip, "Do you want to get back together with me? Wait... Hold on, don't answer..." She figured that he might be too nervous to ask her himself. She understood the feeling - she'd been so incredibly scared the first time that she told him that she liked him that she thought that she was going to faint. She grabbed the flowers from him and set them up in a glass vase on the counter with water before motioning towards her bedroom where she was headed not for... that kind of thing, of course. She was just going to put on some freaking pants which meant slipping out of her nightshirt but she changed quickly into a sweater and yoga pants so he wouldn't accidentally get the impression that she wanted to have sex.
She wouldn't have sex with him yet anyway.. If they got back together then she wanted to do it right this time around. She waltzed back over to him in her new more modest clothing and smiled weakly, "Sorry.. I just figured that I should put on more clothes since that was kind of short."

Bo smiled when she asked if he wanted to get back together. But the smile was soon replaced when she said not to answer. He couldn't help tho. "Bee.." he started, but she was already rushing away. Had he messed up so easily? Oh, no. No he hadn't. Thank god, she was just going to put some clothes on. She was so modest compared to the other Reynolds children.. it was refreshing, really. Definitely something to brag to Andie about.
When she came back, Bo moved into her house a bit more. It was so vibrantly colored! Everything, from ceiling to floor, was completely painted in fluorescent colors. Anyone else might have been sickened by it.. but he sort of liked it. "Bee," he tried again. "I.. I do. I do want you back." He almost choked on the words. But it was true. He missed her so much. So much more than he thought he ever would.

Bee didn't really take their relationship seriously the first time around so she wanted to do better this time and part of that was not rushing under the sheets just because they could; she had enough self-respect to not want to just hump like crazy! Sure the sex was lovely but it'd be so much nicer when she could honestly say that she and Bo were doing it because they were in love and not because they were pumped full of crazy hormones. "I missed you a lot, Bo." She knew her confession was kind of stating the obvious but she still felt like he needed to hear it considering that he was one of the best people that she knew in the world. He could be cocky and silly and he gave her a fish but that was why she cared so much for him and one day, it could turn into full on love.
She reached a hand up to stroke the side of his face and planted a small kiss on his forehead to keep things from going out of their control. She was nineteen and he was eighteen so obviously those feelings were lurking underneath and it'd be easy to get out of hand. "You're a beautiful person inside and out.." She swallowed hard before looking to the counter where she still had some McDonalds, "Are you hungry? I could make you something or we could share my food or... or we could cuddle on the couch?" She didn't need to be doing something fabulous to feel happy.
