Full Name: Shepard Aaron Hallow. It is pronounced Hal-oh, and he will correct you if you say 'hollow'. He's never had any nicknames, but is open to them. Unless you try to call him Shep, in which case he will politely ask you to call him Shepard.
Age: 18, going on 19. His birthday is March 21st, the first day of spring. He is a senior.
Clubs/Sports: None, he's far too busy with his studies and personal interests to participate in school activities.
Appearance: Shepard stands at about six feet with a thin frame. He is lanky, to say the least, but not a noodle. He is lightly muscled thanks to the gym, but still thin with long arms and legs. Shepard has dirty blonde hair that is lighter at the roots, but grows to a caramel- brown and then to straight brown. It is mostly straight with a slight wave, thick, and kept long. Not long to the point where it is girlish, but long enough to where he brushes it back and could tuck most of it into a ponytail. He wouldn't do that, though. That's trashy and highly unprofessional. Shepard's eyes are a brilliant blue and an almost perfect almond shape. They crinkle cutely when he smiles, that oh-so toothy smile, and are shaded beneath two thick brows. His lips are thin and his cheeks are full, making for a generally 'cute' facial structure.
Mostly, Shepard can be found in 'nicer' clothing. He won't come to school in sweater vests and suits, but he also won't come to school in basketball shorts and Nike tee shirts. Shepard dresses in what he thinks is "business casual". That, to him, means solid color tees, button down shirts (usually left open), v-necks, khakis, Sperry's, and other 'prep' pieces of the like. Compared to other students, yes you could call him a prep. He'd personally never say that, though.
Also, he's got a thing for ties. He rarely wears them to school, but he's got quite the collection in his closet.
Personality:
- Intelligent: Shepard is incredibly smart. At his level, he could technically be in his junior year of college. But he's shy about his intelligence, and keeps it under the table. Surely people know because its not like he pretends to be dumb. He just doesn't flaunt it and thinks that skipping grades would be flaunting. Don't think him stupid for staying in high school, though. He is not nearly stupid. Shepard may be one of the smartest boys at Somerset.
- Clever: Shepard is always thinking. Plotting, some might call it. He absolutely hates the term "what if", but it never leaves his mind. So he makes the best of it, and tries his hardest to solve "what if". Ridiculous situations float into his head often regarding his or his loved one's safety, and rather than brushing them off as nothing, he takes the as warnings and plans what he would do in such situations. Some might call it obsessive with how much he sits on his own just thinking about how to 'be prepared'. But he just calls it being safe. Plus, he likes to be one step ahead of everyone.
- Charming: Shepard is a gentleman. He is polite, kind and chivalrous and will most certainly rush to toss his jacket in a puddle before a lady steps in it. He has a sweet smile (that can easily turn to the complete opposite of sweet) and gentle eyes, but a strong presence that proves his confidence. Shepard believes that all women are to be treated with the utmost respect, and he strives to prove that. It can be a little suffocating just how charming he can be.
- Cute: Shepard has very cute habits. He bites his lower lip a lot, he winks when he's happy, he giggles and often rests his chin in his hand with a smile on his face. If not threatened by him, one would think he's possibly the cutest thing in the world. Just how he sits there, so happily airy and just living his life. Give him a reason to turn, and he'll be the furthest thing from cute you've ever seen. But that can easily be avoided. Just don't make him made and you're good to go.
- Intimidating: Shepard has a presence about him that makes many people uncomfortable. The way he carries himself, the way he holds his face, and even sometimes how nice he seems often turns people away. He is proud, that is clear, and he knows of his power. Like mentioned, he will flaunt nothing. But Shepard has never thought of presenting yourself professionally as flaunting. Also, he believes that if he can be feared, he can be respected. And Shepard craves respect. There's a certain feeling that comes with his presence.. a feeling of being belittled or being watched. He has a tendency to make you close up, watch your step, watch your back and pray he doesn't see through your lies. Damn, pray he never catches you lying to him.
- Extreme: With his actions, anyway. Or reactions, rather. This applies mainly to when he is angry. Shepard can and will become very violent in a very short amount of time if you push him far enough. He will not take your shit and he will not stand for liars, cheaters, back stabbers or anything of the like. Shepard is not mindless and would never hurt someone that did not deserve it. He is a sophisticated young man with high expectations and a reputation to uphold. Plus, he has his entire future ahead of him. He would never ruin that with something like a fist fight in the back lot. No, Shepard is far too classy for something as silly as a fight by the bike racks. But do not cross him. And do not doubt that if you get in his way in any way deemed threatening, you will be sorry.
Story: -coming-
Other: Shepard has an extensive knife collection. His father was a hunter and gave Shepard his first knife when he was just eight years old. He doesn't use them for anything, they're just in a case. Well, a couple cases. He's got about thirty different knives all ranging in size, color, blade length, etc.
Shepard feels a very strong connection to music. Often he is seen with headphones on. Sadly, he cannot play any instruments.
Shepard smokes. Only cigarettes, though.
He's not that big of a drinker, but that's not to say he won't have a bottle of beer at a party. If he attends a party.
He does not see himself getting married or having children. He's not sure he could even handle a girlfriend.
Shepard is terrified of the unknown and that horrible idea of "what if".
He loves food. All food. The boy can eat.
He also loves shopping. Particularly for shoes and ties.
Movies bore him. He cannot sit still that long.
