Appearance: Chantel is a very attractive individual. She’s also the kind of girl to flaunt it. She’s about average height at 5’4” and a lean 118 pounds. She doesn’t work out at all, and the only muscle he as is from surfing among other things. She does do the occasional run when the weather is nice, if she’s in the mood. Being only a half-sister to Connor and Caleb, she doesn’t really look like them aside from the green eyes of their mother. Chantel has the lightest eyes out of all the Jackson children. She inherited most of her features form her father’s side.
Just like her brothers, she loves to smile. She usually sports long brown hair that she likes to wear down. She really enjoys wearing makeup and using colors that make her green eyes pop. In the summer she gets extremely tan, but it fades away in the winter. She has a set of very intense eye brows which she uses when expressing her feelings. She’s very good at faking her feelings and getting what she wants.
Personality: Chantel’s personality is very contrasting to her brother’s. She’s not overly goofy, or do stupid things for attention. She’s rather calm, but does share the chillax attitude of Connor. She thinks drama is pointless, though it’s not uncommon for her to be part of some muddle of teenage drama indirectly. She usually ignores people that bother her rather than start something, though if she feels strongly about something, she’ll voice it.
Chantel is really a sweet girl on the down low. She enjoys being happy, and loves to have a good time. She doesn’t care about the material things or someone’s status in society. She cares about people who are close to her, though she may come off as a bit inconsiderate to those who don’t matter. She’s very loyal to her family though, so if you hurt her brothers, she’s coming after you. She’s not impartial about things and often lets her emotions get the better of her in situations. Sometimes she’s very passionate about the things she cares about, and it’s hard for her to understand people’s viewpoints when they contrast hers so much.
She can be describes as a free bird who usually does what she wants. She’s the typical “always in detention” kind of girl for who knows what anymore. She’s a huge flirt and doesn’t really care who it’s with. She’s a sucker for good bodies and/or great hair. She’s been playing with her brothers’ hair since they were kids, and would always mess with the other boys’ hair in her classes. She does enjoy sleeping around and usually does so without strings attached. She does have standards though. She enjoys dating around a bit, but usually the mention of something permanent spooks her and she’s out. She hasn’t quite found a relationship that has made her fall in love.
Background: Chantel was born in California, unlike her other sibllings. However, unlike younger siblings, she has a different father. Her mother and father were high school sweethearts who married right out of high school. The two ended the same university and eventually the same business. However, not long after Chantel was born, her father was caught sleeping around. It came out that he had been sleeping with several women. They divorced immediately and soon she was the daughter of a single Mother. Her soon to be new dad and mother met in Hawaii. Her mother was there for a business conference, while he dad was a school teacher who surfed every day. The two instantly hit it off, and not long after returning from her business trip came the “I’m pregnant” call. She already had a Chantel from a previous marriage gone wrong. By request, her business relocated her to Hawaii so she could be with him. After the birth of Connor the two got married. Little Caleb was born a year later leaving the all three children a year apart.
After leaving California, Chantel grew up on the beautiful beaches of Hawaii where she learned to surf and fell in love with the sea. All three children spent a majority of their times on the beaches. Chantel, Connor, and Caleb were always causing trouble, but the locals loved them. They performed together for fun, but were always doing something. They were your typical rebel children who used each other as excuses. They challenged each other and tried to be the best.
The Jackson children were notorious for skipping school to catch the waves instead. They had been pretty good at it till the school actually called home and they were caught. Their parents threatened to sell their boards if they did it again. Of course that would’ve probably done the trick if the kids weren’t so damn stubborn. Chantel was usually the real ring master when it came to ideas, Connor made things happen, and Caleb just went along with everything since he was the youngest.
Chantel decided that for their last day of school they were going to go catch some waves. She didn’t really care what their parents did because she could always get a new board. Besides, she knew the guy she liked was going to be at the beach that day too. The Jackson kids all agreed on it, and so the next day they were nowhere to be found at school. While the kids enjoyed a great day at the beach, their middle school caught on fire. When their bodies couldn’t be located they were presumed dead, not knowing the children were simply at the beach. Their parents were freaking out and completely heartbroken believing their children were dead.
It wasn’t until later that day when the kids tried to slip into the house pretending that they had attended school were they caught. Their parents were furious. Because of that, they sent them for school with their grandparents in New York. Chantel was a year ahead of Connor, and two years ahead of Caleb. She had to attend Somerset her freshmen year by herself. She initially hated the school because it was far from the beach, but after a few friends she actually found she liked it. She developed great friendships, a few romances, and a handful of one night stands. Now, every school year they attend Somerset and return in the summer. This will be Chantel’s third year at Somerset. With all of her siblings at the school it’s really starting to feel like home.
