About My Character:
Full Name: Caleb Tyler Jackson
Age: 15, November 13
Gender: Male
Grade: 9; Freshmen
Sports/Clubs: Surfing
Appearance: Caleb is a pretty goofy looking kid that always makes the dumbest faces as his reaction to things. He’s shorter than his brother, at 5’8” and 150 pounds. He’s toned, but just from surfing. He’s definitely not the kid to go around picking fights, mostly because he’s probably not strong enough to take down someone bigger than him. He is quick though, so trying to chase him is probably not the best.
Like his brother, he’s known mostly for his goofy Jackson boy smile that’s always on his face. He loves to laugh at jokes even his own, which are never really even funny. He also has the Jackson squint eye syndrome when he smiles so he raises his eye brows in an attem.pt to keep them open. Caleb loves to make stupid faces whenever possible
Caleb’s clothing style is very much like Connor’s, almost identical. He loves flannel shirts, because he thinks they make him look fancy. Other than that, he doesn’t exactly care what he wears, as long as he’s presentable. He’s always wearing a watch because he thinks people will think he’s responsible and always on time, which he never is. His hair various often, but usually he does care about what it looks like.
Personality: Caleb, like his older brother, is such a goof. Always messing around and always getting into trouble. He’ll start laughing in an argument, which never goes over well. He tends to be the one to start things and piss people off for his own amusement. But in general, he’s a non-confrontational person who doesn’t like senseless fighting. He’s a great guy to be around, and always enjoys a good time.
Unlike his brother, he’s actually shy around girls. He suddenly loses all his confidence and becomes a complete goof. He believes in doing corny things like flowers or candle lit dinners. He never knows what to do with himself, unlike Connor who seems to have a grip on everything. He’s not a big flirt, and prefers genuine compliments over anything else. He views woman highly, and treats them with respect.
If you have a problem, Caleb is the guy to go to. He loves helping people, and willing to talk about anything. He’s the type of person to stay up all night if you ask him. Sometimes he cares too much about something, and it hurts him. Because of this, he’s often friend zoned, but he’s accepted it. The girls usually only talk to him when they want something from Connor. It’s been like that for years. Connor doesn’t get jealous about much, and usually shrugs off anything that bothers him.
Background: Caleb was born on the beautiful island of Hawaii like his other siblings. However, unlike his sister older sister Chantel, he has a different father; the same one as his older brother Connor. His mother and father met in Hawaii. His mother was there for a business conference, while his dad was a school teacher who surfed every day. The two instantly hit it off, and not long after returning from her business trip came the “I’m pregnant” call. She already had a kid from a previous marriage gone wrong. By request, her business relocated her to Hawaii so she could be with him. After the birth of Connor the two got married. Little Caleb was born a year later leaving the all three children a year apart.
Caleb grew up on the beautiful beaches of Hawaii where he learned to surf and fell in love with the sea. All three children spent a majority of their times on the beaches. Chantel, Connor, and Caleb were always causing trouble, but the locals loved them. They performed together for fun, but were always doing something. They were your typical rebel children who used each other as excuses. They challenged each other and tried to be the best.
The Jackson children were notorious for skipping school to catch the waves instead. They had been pretty good at it till the school actually called home and they were caught. Their parents threatened to sell their boards if they did it again. Of course that would’ve probably done the trick if the kids weren’t so damn stubborn. Chantel was usually the real ring master when it came to ideas, Connor made things happen, and Caleb just went along with everything since he was the youngest.
Chantel decided that for their last day of school they were going to go catch some waves. Caleb didn’t think it was a good idea, but he didn’t want to be left out. The Jackson kids all agreed on it, and so the next day they were nowhere to be found at school. While the kids enjoyed a great day at the beach, their middle school caught on fire. When their bodies couldn’t be located they were presumed dead, not knowing the children were simply at the beach. Their parents were freaking out and completely heartbroken believing their children were dead.
It wasn’t until later that day when the kids tried to slip into the house pretending that they had attended school were they caught. Their parents were furious. Because of that, they sent them for school with their grandparents in New York. Caleb, only in 8th grade, had to wait a year to attend. He spent the school year alone because his siblings were off at Somerset without him. Now, every school year they attend Somerset and return in the summer. This will be Caleb’s first year at Somerset. He really enjoys it so far, aside from not being able to go surfing whenever he wants like he did back home. He’s just happy to finally be back with all his siblings.
