Sports/Clubs: Surfing
Appearance: Connor is a pretty attractive male. He’s not the tallest person ever, but he’s pretty average at about 5’11”. He does workout, but not for the sake of buffing up. He’s at a lean 180 pounds, very light for someone who likes to eat all the time. Aside from some slight muscle tone, he’s pretty lanky. He prefers to be lean when it comes to surfing.
He’s known mostly for his goofy smile that’s always on his face. He loves to show off his pearly whites with a hint of happiness. When he smiles his eyes squint up a little, a family trait. He has short brown hair that usually does what it wants. He has gorgeous blue green eyes with a small tint of gold near the pupil. They’re not quite as intense as his older sister, Chantel, or his younger brother, Caleb. He sometimes likes to sport a little hair on his chin when he gets lazy.
He sports a variety of clothes, but he’s your usual shorts, tank-top, crew socks, and some kicks on a hot day. He’s a hoodie kind of guy in the winter with no real fashion sense paste the word swag. He’s more of a comfort kind of guy over looks, so when he’s alone he looks like a complete bum.
Personality: Connor is really a goober, mostly described as a class clown kind of person who doesn’t take things seriously. He believes in relaxation above everything, and is mostly likely never to get into a fight. He’s truly a surfer bro and refers to everyone as dude. It’s not uncommon for him to tell someone to ‘chill’ or ‘find their chill’. He’s really a peace, love, and happiness kind of guy who enjoys the simple things in life.
He can be quite cocky though, and extremely confident in whatever he does. He’s quite charming about it though, always quick to flirt. He’s not the kind of guy to go around making challenges, but he sure as hell won’t turn one down. He’s a little flashy, and a whole lot of corny. He doesn’t care if he does something stupid or makes a fool out of himself. He just goes with the flow and doesn’t worry about little things.
Sometimes he might come off as too nonchalant about problems, but that’s because he doesn’t know what to do. He doesn’t handle stress well and chooses not deal with it face to face. He’s someone who will go home and plan out every action he’ll make when dealing with something. He’s a nice guy who wants to help, but he just doesn’t have a clue as how. He’ll still be there for you whenever you need him for support. You’ll never see Conner angry, unless he’s genuinely pissed off. He doesn’t like to be mad, and he doesn’t like violence. So, if he ever has to resort to it, it must be extremely important.
Background: Connor was born on the lovely island of Hawaii like his younger sibling. However, unlike his sister half sister Chantel, he has a different father. His mother and father met in Hawaii. His mother was there for a business conference, while his dad was a school teacher who surfed every day. The two instantly hit it off, and not long after returning from her business trip came the “I’m pregnant” call. She already had a kid from a previous marriage gone wrong. By request, her business relocated her to Hawaii so she could be with him. After the birth of Connor the two got married. Little Caleb was born a year later leaving the all three children a year apart.
Connor grew up on the beautiful beaches of Hawaii where he learned to surf and fell in love with the sea. All three children spent a majority of their times on the beaches. Chantel, Connor, and Caleb were always causing trouble, but the locals loved them. They performed together for fun, but were always doing something. They were your typical rebel children who used each other as excuses. They challenged each other and tried to be the best.
The Jackson children were notorious for skipping school to catch the waves instead. They had been pretty good at it till the school actually called home and they were caught. Their parents threatened to sell their boards if they did it again. Of course that would’ve probably done the trick if the kids weren’t so damn stubborn. Chantel was usually the real ring master when it came to ideas, Connor made things happen, and Caleb just went along with everything since he was the youngest.
Chantel decided that for their last day of school they were going to go catch some waves. The Jackson kids all agreed on it, and so the next day they were nowhere to be found at school. While the kids enjoyed a great day at the beach, their middle school caught on fire. When their bodies couldn’t be located they were presumed dead, not knowing the children were simply at the beach. Their parents were freaking out and completely heartbroken believing their children were dead.
It wasn’t until later that day when the kids tried to slip into the house pretending that they had attended school were they caught. Their parents were furious. Because of that, they sent them for school with their grandparents in New York. Every school year they attend Somerset and return in the summer. The kids have attended Somerset since their freshmen year. This will be Connors second year at Somerset. He really enjoys it, aside from not being able to catch the waves whenever he wants. He’s a sweet guy that really gets along with everyone.
